I just discovered your channel. You are a virtuoso with a paintbrush! You remind me of a concert pianist who knows her instrument and performs beautifully.
Your brush has the touch of an angel on the paper. You probably have done caligraphy or Chinese characters? I, too, have tried several of the maimeriblu colors lately. I agree that the green gold lacks the vibrancy of other green golds. I found the same issue with the maimieri sap green. I’m playing your brush strokes on .25 speed because they are different than those of most watercolorists I’ve observed. It seems to me it’s the lightness of your touch which contributes to such brilliant results. Of course there are other contributors but this is key. Now I’l have to practice it feverishly for another year. I just hope I have enough years left to feel competent practicing it. ❤
I too purchased the Maimeriblu set that you are using. I’m not sold on them, but I can’t quite put my finger on the reason. They’re just different. I bought another little set available on Amazon, and between them I got a passable set. I am just so used to my Daniel Smith and Holbein. I am interested in the brand I see you use. They seem so vibrant. But then I think you will paint marvels with mud and some water. This painting is gorgeous, as usual. Thank you!

It's such an interesting choice for colors as a beginner set. Loved your bouquet 🥰
I actually love it. It encourages creativity in color mixing
Always a delight. Great colour combination and such a beautiful bunch.

I love your sketchy style of painting. Beautiful!
