When you are evading the law and trying to keep a low profile, most likely not a good idea to drive 72 in a 40 zone, but then again criminals don't use their brains most of the time.

I'm sure he has spent a lot of time in jail, just like many many people. You know what is stupid? jail just makes people worse, it has 0 rehabilitation, and 99% of the people eventually are released back into society. But, you know, not time to think about any of that, or ever change anything, what is the fight of the weak? Critical race theory?

    • @mistatk

The irony isn't lost on me, that a theory that helps to shed light on how things got to how they are in this country, is ignored and fought against, while we still havent fixed our criminal justice system or policing, to be able to change stuff, we'd have to educate ourselves on the topics, which I guess half the country isn't ready to deal with yet.

Omg lmao that's the stupidest MOST unsafe thing I've ever heard in my life LMAO. And even if they don't shoot him and he stops his car, what makes you think he won't start to flee AGAIN like he just did? Lol he's stopped to begin with so you say allow him to get in his car and flee and you think he's gonna stop?? And if he does stop and then flee again you just created a game of cat and mouse risking everyones safety in the public as he stops and flees and stops and flees. He's stopped to begin with. Deal with it then but do NOT allow him to flee and run over people and crash into their cars. I work hard for my vehicle I don't wanna lose it or lose a loved one because some idiot is fleeing or some cop ALLOWS him to flee because you say the cops"are capable of pursuit". They're also capable of blowing his freaking head off right there! Maybe they should do that, but certainly not blow his head off while he's driving his vehicle as you suggest. His vehicle would crash into something you moron. Lmao omg you're ridiculously stupid. I hope to God you weren't serious when you wrote that but it sounds like you really thought that would be a good idea in the same breath that you said the cops need to be trained better! As a Retired Circuit judge for the Southern District of New York I have read so many comments here about judges going easy on crime etc. Long ago judges were given guidelines for sentencing on misdemeanors and felonies for first time offenders, And then they introduced mandatory minimum sentences for repeat offenders and crimes that were heinous and depraved. Later they took all that away and took the discretion away from the bench and issued sentences without discretion meaning if a defendant commits crime a then he shall be sentenced to the state presumptive sentencing. Meaning the judge no longer has any discretion in handing down sentencing. The duty of the judge would be to make sure that the trial was conducted fairly and pursuant to the rules of jurisprudence. With a tremendous amount of political pressure from the civil rights organizations, Sentencing Black defendants had to be done with a great deal of sensitivity. In my opinion that changed everything because it became a revolving door system and the black defendant knew it and feared nothing because they knew they would not be held until their trial date, and more than likely unless they had a warrant when they were arrested or they were on probation when they were arrested they would be a “good” candidate according to the rules for being released on their own recognizance. I cannot tell you how many people are laying in their graves right now because their life was taken by someone who was out on their own recognizance! Some of the most vicious , heartless and remorseless criminals running around at night committing every possible crime that you can imagine are 12 to 14 year-old children who are hardened by living in a single parent home and never having any discipline whatsoever. The music they listen to glorifies selling drugs or robbing stealing raping and all types of horrendous bloody crimes! The black population in America is between 9 and 11%. That nine and 11% estimate commit approximately 71% of felonies and misdemeanors! People drive by a federal or a state correctional institution, and they see out on the field A Sea of black men ! And some of the younger generation today immediately remark that this is horrible terrible racism and all of these people were wrongly convicted by racist police and prosecutors.
The United States of America has the most enviable and liberal justice system in the entire world! As soon as a person is arrested for a crime the first thing that happened is the government releases a large budget to defend that person from the charges he or she is about to be handed! At every corner at every turn the government supplies every possible means available to acquit the defendant! Other countries look at our system in disbelief! In nations like Iraq for instance, you are given a trial by prosecutors only! 85% of the time you will be found guilty. And your sentence will be carried out within 30 days if it is a death sentence! No appeals, no nothing.

Thank you for your service and I appreciate your eye opening explanation.
I felt in my thoughts that it had to be something going on
      behind the scenes .
Leave it up to our trusty government and there liberal policies!
It’s also just like them to shed no light on the subject to make it look like judges and prosecutors were the problem .
And if you really think a little deeper they incentivize single parent homes so the problem actually is on a collision course from infancy .
Most care more about the check than they do about parenting!
So they dump em off on the grandparents to raise that have little control of a bad situation!
If any compassion, love and empathy is learned it’s taught by grandparents!
And being old myself I can tell you just feeding and caring for young people that go with the routine is hard !

If people were either a rehabilitated or be served their entire sentences. Then the criminals will learn and the law will be real.. it's well known in all county jails across the United States you will do one third of your conviction time meaning that they give you 6 months in county jail you'll do two months with good behavior or this and that or overcrowded early release this and that they think of a ton of ways for early release to get them out so they can come right back in

What exactly would you have him do? Jump into the trunk? Open fire and kill them both? You want to punish cops for not diving head first into a speeding car? You people watch too many movies. Bullets. Don't. Stop. Cars. When a cop jumps in front of a car and kills the driver, and the car swerves/stops, he just killed a man who spent the last moments of his life avoiding hitting him. This is what happens when someone doesn't mind taking a cop with him. Cars don't just stop because you killed the driver. They aren't releasing a bunch of information, but it looks like they were both killed in the resulting crash, and not in the "dragging". Which I didn't see personally, but it's possible.
