I'm not sure myself but I think Arthur's "Bring the hellfire" might just be in theme with how he talks about good ol' Albert. He seems to always use terminology related to Hell. Like "Let's ride the devil down" or "what devils follow you, Entrati?"
I heard the song before I saw the Tennocon stuff. As I was listening to it I went a couple times "Why does this feel malicious sometimes?" and I had weird vibes. When I finally watched the full Tennocon stuff it made a lot of sense and I am glad they put some of that feeling in the song.

I would challenge a DJ on a station that plays the hits from the 90s and early 2000s to spin this with no introduction, somewhere in the middle of set of other music and just see if anybody notices that its not actually a 1990s boy band.
While it wouldn't seem out of place, I love all the lines where the say "feel it in the floor" or "come alive on the floor". Because the infestation literally takes over the floor, and is known to pulsate.
It's crazy how in face the song is about the infestation thing. "The signal's strong, can you feel it in the floor". A more generic lyric would be 'can you feel it in the air', but we're dealing with the infested. The infested take over ships, infesting every inch of it, including the floor. Can you feel the infested network in the floor. Notice, "we come alive, under the 'neon glow'". Why glow, not neon lights? Well, the infested also sometimes have pustules that glow.
I find the one line "Its the party of your lifetime" to be the most amazing threat in a boy band song. The term "Its the _____ of a lifetime" means something that you will only experience once in your life and you therefore cannot miss. to say its the party of your lifetime signifies that the people who attended that concert were going to die that day. changing it from "a" to "your" changes its meaning so much and whoever cooked here isn't getting paid enough. Give them giga raise.
I love that the line “now that you’re invested” is sung just slightly off key so that it sounds like “now that you’re infested”. The song is loaded with so many subliminal messages it makes you wonder if the band was infected prior to producing this song.
They totally were. Either that or like they sometimes do, the infested mimic successful methods of creating unsuspecting victims via subsuming the memories/personalities of whoever they absorb.
I’d just like to say that the song playing when Arthur is staring down that Excalibur with their Exalted Blades drawn is THE most Metal Gear Rising-esque theme Warframe has ever had, or will have, and I’m absolutely hooked on it. I can’t wait for them to release it, it’s THAT good.
Yep, agreeing with a lot of thought you had on this, growing up in the 90s kinda engraves one's mind with these songs. When compared to Heartsteel's song, it really is easy to hear how big of a difference there is, not just in the mentioned emphasis on the singing, almost making it "bouncy" (can't come up with a better word for it), but the instrumentation, and kinda most importantly, the vinyl scratches. For the actual song, I can imagine it as a concert going on and the full outbreak happening, the audience near oblivious to it as they're hypnotized by the band, only breaking their spell a few times, hence the rewinds and towards the end, the longer silence and key change, with the end having them being completely transformed and either setting off in that stadium into orbit, or entering into a state of dormancy (music slows down instead of fading out like the songs in the 90s usually did).
Another thing to note about the song is that they repeat "We're On-lyne" a few times. Repeating a certain word or phrase is a common tactic scammers use.
DE confirmed there will be an album. Besides that, there is also actual OST like the music that plays during the tank boss fight. Anyway, point is the update will probably be loaded with music more than usual.
I really hope they release the song that was on just before the tennolive while the room was darkened as well as the fight between Excalibur and Arthur. It has such Metal Gear Solid vibes

I've had the opportunity to play preludes and I have to say, it's possible to have very cinematic combat and satisfying flow, but it's much too simple for being the entire focus of the game.
