It seems like 99% of the time in Zariman missions (above 90% easily) I lose everything because the host was impatient. Just make it so the host has to wait 20 seconds after his exit attempt, and hopefully that'll be long enough for the game to save my loot
It has been too long since Knightmare Frame played from the start. Warframes are called Tenno from the start. This is part of the setup for the bombshell of the reveal on Lua. Also the girl in the start I always thought was a local girl praying to a shrine of long gone protectors. Remember the Tenno haven't been around for centuries, and are just waking up now (well 'now' in the intro). Even though they are waking up, they are still in The Matrix, as it were.
Irony is - “Ordis is repetitive give him new lines” But the community worships Clem as a living saint. The same Clem who has one line. We Warframe players are an odd bunch.
@@insertedgynamehere___969 and thanks to options madness and sliders galore any player on warframe can decide to listen to or make Ordis (and some others too)shut the hell up :)
Josh is absolutely on point on Warframe. I love this game, I've played MMOs and online games for the past 15 years, and Warframe is the ONLY online game where I'm completely fine and happy spending my money and time on. Amazing gameplay, amazing variety, arguably some of the best scene, atmosphere and settings out of any online game ever, but it has some of the worst and unfriendly game progression I've seen, and I've played Eve Online for years in the past (if you've played Eve before you'd know why). The saddest thing is that if they ever fix the game progression and new player experience, this game would undoubtedly crush any of it's competitors. Fix the tutorials, fix the tooltip (just follow how PoE does things, they have some of the best and the most clear tooltip ever), figure out how to solve the host migration simulator of a game you have here, and spend some money and marketing. And I can assure you DE, you'd completely dominate the market of looter-shooter online game, nothing will ever come close to Warframe.
@@vrontheweb3749 4 hours is more than enough to get a good idea about what the game is like. Especialy if you're someone whose literal job is critiquing mmo's. And he's totaly right. He criticised the mod system not being well explained "only" 4 hours in, yet that exact same issue happens with nearly every other system the game throws on you later on. Void relics, syndicates, using orokin catalysts/ reactors or forma on items, or GETING these things in the first place. Just to name a few. The game is extremely cryptic with every one of it's systems. And the systems often aren't complex at all, but when you have multiple things thrust upon you at the same time with absolutely zero explanation, many players will just leave. I did. But I came back a few months later.
@@theatomiclizard452 if your only experience playing Warframe is rank 20 Excalibur with unranked exalted blade I am not taking you seriously. I do not care who you are. You’ve not played the game, not seen modding or gameplay systems enough to give a valid opinion. Unless you simp for him that bad.
@@vrontheweb3749 I have over 150 hours in warframe and I'm about to finish new war. Most the criticisms he makes carry over further into the game. Only thing is when he says "awful game sysems", which isn't true in most cases, most are pretty good, it's just they're terribly explained. Allso the early game is a part of your game. If it's bad, that's a part of your game that's bad. And imporving the early game would help bring many new players. If "you haven't played enough, your opnion is invalid and bullshit" is all you've got to say, it is clear to me you are a deeply enfranchised hardcore player uwilling to accept someone else's opinion just because they aren't as "harcore" as you are. You have to understand 90 % of the players don't get past that point at all. This is the experience new players have and it really should be imporved for the game to thrive and grow.
@@theatomiclizard452 Josh says he doesnt know where to go in the game... ma man. there's a planet chart.. theres literally missions in a connected line.. there's levels of enemies, if you played any game before, if you're able to kill things, your gear is good enough for that level, this much I expect him to know. So keep progressing and see what you find. Regarding the other things, he is not even that far into the game to even care about those things like modding weapons and warframes, just put on basic mods like health, armor, base damage you will be fine.. when he put out that video, he was at I think Mars or Phobos I am not sure. Not far enough to give an informed opinion. If you also look at how some things are explained now vs few years before, the game has changed but things like modding still remain in the wiki which isnt the best or worst solution. Do you want every new player to go through a math class in your game or do you want them to take the approach of fuck around and find out
Ive always said itd be cool to hear Ballas explaining what mods are and how they work like hes keeping a record in his vitruvian, then going on to explain that this is the reason you may come across the same frame but ones stronger than the other and such. Maybe a vitruvian styled cutscene would be too much but an echoy voice explaining it would be cool plus it gives us some familiarity with him since hes kind of just shoe horned into the story
I actually think the worst thing for streamers starting warframe is not really the back seat Andy's who are bad but the communities generosity I've seen multiple streamers have to turn off gifts because the community will literally give them everything leaving them nothing to do
Yea, it's a shame; when my friends started i gift them just blueprints of 1 Prime Frame to each one just to motivate them to farm and get to the point of using them; but giving them an actual frame/weapon already buildt would have robbed them the experience/farm/pain.
Murdering your enemies to death is the main focus of the game while the plot just sits quietly in the back seat. It's still there if you're interested, but inevitably you're going to miss at least half of the lore dialogue. After all, hundred enemies are shooting at you, and you're acrobatically slicing enemies to thousand little pieces while Lotus is telling you about some plot stuff. How on earth are you even going to hear that, let alone focus on it?
there are actually tutorials in-game, but they are really hard to find. There is an [i] (i for info) icon at the bottom right corner, next to all these buttons. I don't think new players can notice that on their own. Many veterans didn't notice when DE added it.
My first bug that I fully remember: My Kubrow went to open a locker and glitched out and just kept opening the one locker. New loot dropped each time but it just kept barking at the locker and causing loot to pop.
41:27 That actually happend with the Orowyrm Bossfights in Duviri. In SP there is a whole additional Phase where you need to fly a Khaite in the Final Fight (where you use your Warframe), cause whole Stage is in Flames and you need to hunt hte small Wyrms, even the Arena is bigger than in normal. I played Anthem, Outriders and the First Decendent Beta, last one sucked hart. Mobs are only on the Map if you have an active Mission, everyone plays Electro Bunny Girl cuase´ she can run fast cause´ you need to zoom over the map to start Missions. Btw. I wouldn´t say Warframe is "Pay to win" it´s more "Pay not to play" xD
hey all i've been playing since 2014, i did take a big break but even now i will take 20 mins on a capture. it keeps the game fun because you get to see the time the devs put in the making of the game. the levels, the music, the lighting, and ambient sounds. they are all still amazing 9 years later. also @ KF you are right about the grind vs the time spent. i have finally got the feeling that the time i ground out tons of stuff is worth the time spent. i am by far not the best but i can be space ninja and kill stuff AND live! party on Tennos!
the worst thing about warframe, is all the time gating, standing caps, waiting for frames waiting for everything its just so annoying and a way to make you spend more time on the game
Love the game, but sometimes it feels like the game doesn't want me to play it. Constant bugs, loading issues, host migration, etc. And not just inconvenient ones, but ones that make my game crash/freeze, kick me out of missions, make me lose my progress, etc. The host migration is probably the worst part of it. Literally makes things like ESO unplayable at times with people constantly rotating out after a round or two, and with my luck that person is usually the host, forcing me to wait a year to load back in, and if it doesn't load fast enough I miss out on my convergence orb and lose focus, or if im in a bounty or something else it'll make me lose my general progress and rewards. I don't get why you have to load back into a map that you're ALREADY IN, like what? Just because one player left? That's some nintendo-level online game design right there.
They should make small 6 to 8 man raids or dungeons to sprinkle throughout the levels starting at mr 16 and beyond stuff that requires teamwork doesn't have to be long as long as it's a challenge and has exclusive loot
the junctions are the 2nd phase of the tutorial it tells you what you need to do. the game doesnt hand hold, but it forces you to do those things it just doesn't go out of its way to tell you they are teaching you how to play.
There is a sense of accomplishmentment when u figure something out in this game. Whether it's builds, mods or being able to do certain events/activities you get the feeling you are progressing
No man, that is the actual content of the game. Once you "grinned it all", the game is kind of over. What makes Warframe tick, is that there is usually something to strive for. I don't have everything yet either, but that is not a problem in order to do content.
@@Voupes and that Amazing gameplay you speak of is another grind fest, just a more enjoyable one to yourself. Somethings you find boring others find fun.
DE should bring back the optional objective from the Vor Location quest. Make it completely random for every non endless mission, and give it good rewards. It's a great idea, its optional and I bet they could add some great rewards that vary with the optional objective. Maybe you have to rescue a syndicate member and you get a free relic pack or some shit. Or you rescue some animals and get a blueprint for companion armor. IDK they can figure it out I'm sure.
A few months late, but at 29:30 where you talked about movement, when i originally started playing in warframes early days on consoles, there were so many areas up high in the maps you could get that now have invisible barriers, we got open worlds but so many of the maps are heavily locked down, we got the parkour system, but lost the amazing places that before was a geniune challenge to get to, the closest you can do now is ivara with her ziplines, which is pretty sad to me
When I first started, there were no junctions or anything. I would randomly get taxied to places. I somehow managed to get 10 bps of each of Valkyr parts and someone pointed out I can make new frames in chat. So I got Valk, it was trash. However, that same week she got reworked along with ember. Boy. I spend my 100 hours in eris missions spinning like a fidget spinner and suddenly I gained awareness like a 3 year old child for the first time. At that point I was Mr8 and have played the game for a couple months. Suddenly I understood what the mod system is, why crafring is a thing and where the orokin t4 keys were hidden. I regretted that moment ever sinse.
I experienced the same bug twice in one day. It happened whenever I fell off my K-Drive and into some items, but both times for some reason they decided to teleport me to some small tiny cramped room where I couldn't do anything but abort mission. It felt so dumb that both times it caused me to end up in that same room despite the two places it happened being so far apart. It's like a time out room for... idk what, but it pisses me off still lowkey.
Recently played a friend thru the beginning. Was really surprised by how much the opening had changed. 1st thing I told him was never even look at the darvo deal
i think the reason flawed mods exist is because of the players not knowing about the potatoes yet to give more mod capacity so the flawed mods let them still upgrade into content until they start unlocking events etc to farm potatoes
my first bug? Vazarin. Swapping too quickly LOCKED EVERYTHING: weapon use, ability use, and sprinting. Sometimes, falling into deep lakes or high areas doesn't do anything to fix it, and i have to waste a revive just to be able to play the game normally. There are also times where you are stuck to one direction, no matter where WASD and camera angle you used. Aim button using guns also didn't change the direction my warframe (or worse: operator with nothing but an unusable Mote Amp) was facing.
The problem with the mod system not explaining itself to the players (and a lot of the issues brought up in this video) is because of the way the game is built. I got the game when PS4 first came out because the only two AAA titles worth playing in it were BF4 and AC Black Flag. Warframe popped up on the PSN store as free and it was fun to get into. The point though is that back then, that was the game. It was nothing but the star chart, void keys, and building dojos. The star chart was also much smaller back then. No open world areas. Orokin Derelict and void could only be accessed by craftable keys and nav coordinates. In that time, modding was the only thing that actually required you to think. And there were far less mods, so it wasn’t hard to do. Mostly self-explanatory. There were no aura, exilus, or arcanes back then either. Since those times, the game has expanded so much and there are so many mods that it gets confusing. And DE just added the systems and new stuff on top of the old stuff, basically assuming that players would learn as they updated the game piece by piece.
34:12 When extreme emotions meet pure Void Energy, they can change reality, bend and break the laws of nature. When you go into the void you make a copy of yourself (or a copy of you has always existed in the void). The kids on the Zariman made copies of themselves in the void and gained powers by making contact with their copies. Within one of the scattered Zariman Tablets discovered in Duviri, one of them seems to have an entry implying the existence of an instance during the Zariman Void Jump incident, where the player Tenno accepted their doppelgänger's deal to save everyone, but was the only one not rescued in the process. This was heavily implied to be the Drifter's timeline. Since all possible timelines as well as the past, present and future coexist in Eternalism the Drifter is a version of your operator who exists in a dimension of The Void when their timeline split off from yours. Duviri was made out of the operator's mind and a storybook called Tales of Duviri. Dominus Thrax is a character in that story. Drifter gets void powers when that hand at the beginning of Paradox stabs them. That's how, after beating Thrax, they can get to the origin system to temporarily replace your Operator. When Eternalism catches up the Operator is restored (since Ballas killed 'em during the new war).
Dubbed? What? Subs for life! Also Kuva apparently allows mind transfers and the Orokin used it to transfer to new bodies as a workaround for immortality. The Entrati story about Naberus tells us there's 2 flavors of Kuva, blue for temporary and red for permanent.
If anything, you need to constantly watch external info sources to understand what you have to do when you're new to the game. And this only grows worse as new content is released. When you're many hours in, the grind is what gets you. I got at least 3k hours in the game, I was a founder when it originally launched, as my Excal Prime testifies. Still I leave the game for months every time as the constant, heavy grind just annoys the crap out of me. It's not the beginning, it's the end game that's annoying. Story in Warframe? I mean, there is some. There are many actually, but none really matter. In the end you get in mission, you grind materials and test out builds, come back home, rinse, repeat.
I am astounded that he continually mocks people for not seeing that he is *obviously* watching a different JSH video and then simultaneously doesn't understand the purpose of flawed mods when the reason for their existence is staring him in the face.
Hang on, what's the reason for flawed mods? You can call me dumb, I ain't making fun of anyone. I just don't understand their purpose when the unflawed mods would do everything flawed ones do... but not be throw aways just to level up the exact same mod again.

@derekspringer6448 Flawed mods are intended for new players who don't have the endo or credits to max out normal mods. Also they have lower mod capacity which is nice for new players who don't have orokin reactors or catalysts.
In case Chat didnt know, Ninjas were the first in Japan to implement fire arms, aka guns, into their regular arsenal. They were the guerilla fighters of Japan, and used anything they could get their hands on, and a gun is the holy grail of good weapons to get your hands on.
I've got 1400hr In this game I have been playing this shit since 2015 on and off, and I have no clue wtf was the story until you said it's about ongoing war with sentients...
Right at the end U just described Void cascade meets Razorback armada, eidolon and profit taker. Absolutely we need this big bad mass mission. I can't really see a plot reasoning for this but it would be absolutely amazing if we got this. I need this
My biggest issue is having no idea what to do other than star chart or knowing what’s worth doing, I hear everyone grinds standing but I have no idea why and what makes it worth it
as a new player, the main thing you should be focusing on are main quests (or just any quest that looks cool) and progressing through the star chart. personally i cleared every node on a planet before moving on but you dont need to at all. dont worry about the open world areas just yet!
my first bug is a very common one that still exists..... but a worse version essentially. I was titania and got so fast the map forgot floors existed, and i flew out of the map. unlike most times (flying out of the map and into a pocket of terrain you can't escape) I ended up being out of the map and infinitely falling. I cast razorwing to try to fly towards the map but ended up running out of energy before i could. Luckily my friend told me about the /unstuck command. This was after falling for a few minutes because my friend was convinced that if i fell long enough there would be a section where it would teleport me (like jumping off the edge of the map). It did not have a teleporty thing.
TBH I feel like it's a spoiler when you talk about the operator. The quest where you learn what you are? It hit so hard it was so good. Until that point I had assumed I was some kind of AI or cephalon. I had zero idea about the truth. I am keeping the secret from my bf because I want him to experience that moment. I also started the game 10 years ago so I never saw the opening cinematic. The Duviri was worrisome because my BF tried it immediately (and enjoyed it). I think it was a good call on DE's part to make that alternate reality use the drifter. It can still protect the reveal. (edit: and yeah that opening cinematic is definitely the drifter.)
Omg omg starting music its Aion. Nostalgia moments for me I used to play this game for like 15-20hrs in a day when I had lots of time when I was a teen. Missing those days and thanks for using this music and making great videos. ❤️🙏🏻
Also had a bug on one of the Lua missions, after going through a portal, my warframe was constantly being pulled in one direction, so getting to extraction was a little bit annoying.
Yes it has no endgame and every content is really easy (including steel path and high lv survivals) but for some reason me and my friends have at least 2000+ hours and they didn't even realize how long this game sucked their time XD. I always play Warframe, not because I need something that will make me powerful, but because I say to myself "hey, that's cool, Ima do it" -- Been ages since I didn't put a feet into Cetus/make zaws/farm eidolons
heres my advice if you want to help new players where to go. what you tell them to do includes: complete star chart by opening all nodes along a path from rail to rail making sure you complete the rail requirements as well. don't ignore your codex missions (don't tell them what missions to do) explain how things work but don't tell them what to do. for example my friends and i healthgate for infinite energy on drain abilities. its scary if you dont know what your doing. we wouldnt give our builds because of it.
@stinky3583 did you not read I say explain how the system works. And let them do the missions they want as they want to. Besides the starchart will have do most of the important missions in a reasonable time. Stop try to force people to play how you want to play.
I just want to say, though it isnt made clear to players in game, is that in the market you can buy the Mk-1 variant weapons for credits. So, giving you access to the market is their way of giving players (again, no one ever tells you but...) access to the other weapons they didnt pick during the tutorial mission (where he picked mk paris, mk bo, and mk lato)... and by proxy access to non-grind non-plat mastery points via the other mk weapons. IIRC that should be enough to help get you through to mastery rank 2 where you gain access to trading.
So i just noticed something id like discussed as i hardly know all the lore but in the intro the drifter "because the uniform is drifter" places a small glowing flower at the feet of excaliber incased in stone. What caught my attention is my helminth has unlocked alll the abilities and each time i sacrifice a new frame i noticed a different colored flower bloom onto the wall behind the chair. So what do these flowers do? We know that the warframe itself is infested biomass but the flowers are related to abilities obviously with helminth having the same flowers so could it be the orokin alone make these flowers?
9:21 if you're referring to the cinematic, you can one-shot those ships with enemies in plains or valis. Not exactly like in the cinematic though(paris won't kill everything and destroy the ship, but some weapons will)
BROOOOOOO!!!!!!! TENCHUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!! Dawg I'm hearing so many names I haven't heard in over 10 years it's crazy I miss John woo and chow Yun fat Edit:had a weird bug but it's not recorded I hopped on a stationery gattling gun and when I jumped off my bow was invisible my hands looked like they held a rifle and I was shooting as fast as the gattling gun but shooting my arrows it was actually broken in a good way and super fun lmao
when you were talking about the raids, (around 1:25:00 ish) it reminded me of returnal, which is a ps5 game and one of the bosses has scenery changes for each phase, and just a very hard boss fight in general. If DE made a raid encounter like that, that would be so sick.
Sometimes i forgot to put solo mode in low lvl missions, and sometimes i run into a new player and i feel bad using Spirit bombs of skills so i just run with my melee so i don't spoil him what lies adhead; and if i was farming an old boss i just stay there like a father watching him from distance solo the dude.
My first bug in warframe was on Switch in Sedna Junction. Most of the time after the short cutscene, where it zooms in on the specter and then zooms out, I would never regain control of my character. The only buttons that would do anything were the (L) button to open chat or pause to delay my inevitable doom. At first I thought my controller died until I realized that the pause button still worked.
If you been playing before the operator or eidolon mechanics were introduced in the game you’re the real og back when farming prime parts was in the void instead of relics before mirage or nezha or nekros ivara or equinox prime were even a thing
Know what, knightframe? I've watched quite a few of your videos. There's so much that irks me about how you present yourself, but I'm gonna subscribe. I truly appreciate how you honestly made me rethink the pay to win system not only in this game, but how all free to play games are paid for. I actually used to be a whale for this game. Probably half my prime frames were paid for with a job I worked my ass off for. Maybe a couple frames (ivara) that I paid outright, but I've still grinded for plenty (equinox). At times I couldn't pay for the game, I've been able to grind away the items. New rhino deathwatch skin?? SOMEone paid for it, and it wasn't DE. It was someone's hard earned money that I grinded to trade for some items I had extras of. Thanks to you, I remember now how much I liked actually supporting the game with actual money too. Support those you wanna see thrive. So, here's to you. I'll try not to be an ass, but no promises. Maybe one day you'll convince me to try another game I'll fall in love with.
Warframe as a idea was actually before dark sector - they made dark sector at the time because they couldn't get funding for steves idea of warframe - but they'd already been working on the warframe idea for a quite a while and a lot of those ideas got put into dark sector.
I remembered back when you had to farm for your ability,s and thay were mods ,yes you had to use a mod slot to pick your abilities and the stamina it was a real challenge
A cess pool or cess pit was where they would empty chamber pots (assuming they didn't just dump them in the streets). Literal feces and urine. Sometimes used as punishment they were about neck height on an average man so he could be forced to stand in it all day. I'm sure that did wonders for the skin!
Honestly, almost all of my complaints about warframe are about how predatory the monetisation is in some aspects of it. The best example being the slots. If you sell everything in your game for real money, don't make your players also buy the space for storing everything you sell FOR REAL MONEY, or better, at all. That's just douchebag behavior. They're not THAT expensive in the grand scheme of things, but the fact that they can't be bought with non-premium currencies makes me so fucking mad. I don't want to search for options of getting them for free while a weapon or frame I have already spent 0.5 to 3 days waiting for sits in the foundry doing nothing. When you start selling basic game features nobody usually notices for actual money, you should stop and ask yourself if you're implementing predatory marketing practices.
It’s a free game, what other compromise comes in ur mind to do if it was tour game? How would you make money from a free game that even lets you grind the paid currency. You just need to invest time or pay to get them faster
@@iezii oh I'm sure they make quite enough money from players in other ways: buying frames, weapons, skins, bundles, etc. Not to mention the great advertisement the amount of players makes for the game for free. The problem with this is that for most people it's negligible enough that they don't drop the game, but this doesn't make the practice of selling basic game functions for real money okay. People hate raid: shitpiece legends for doing exactly what every free to play game does, just going too overboard with it to the point of people actually noticing it. Free to play games, famously, live off of people who spend exorbitant amounts of money on them, and not off of the little-to-nothing spenders. And trust me, the "whales" can absolutely disregard the price of the slots, unlike pretty much everyone else. DE really isn't an indie company selling dlcs to make some money off of their labor of love game. They host annual events with prizes in sums of money that can turn people's lives around. We as as a community need to stop defending companies with tons of disposable income when they implement features that make you go "oh for fuck's sake, they even sell THIS?"
@@kindatimi mean, they give away free slots all the time, you have the Nightwave which is free and gives you 1 Warframe slot and 2 weapon slots for not much effort, as well as Catalysts and Reactors. And with events like the Quest to Conquer cancer i believe they gave away Warframe and weapon slots for free too, plus the 50 platinum you get from the start of the game, and you can easily trade your prime parts for platinum since the game is chill about that, earning premium currency for free, not many games do that. Plus i heard games like Destiny 2 remove whole parts of the story for no reason and is much more predatory with FOMO packs and stuff, i think Warframe is one of the best free to play examples there is Its still a grind, but you gotta give them credit for actually being pretty chill, but they gotta make money somehow
they also give away slots for achieving certain goals. for a predatory game they do do a lot to give away every that makes them money. those of us who buy do so so we can support DE and support the free to play. them allowing the premium currency to be tradeable is nearly one of a kind. they are a business they need to make money.
While yes they tend to push spending money a lot, you NEVER have to spend a dime. And even if you do wanna spend money to get slots and some stuff like that, remember, it's a free game, spending $60 is like paying for a AAA title. That's there monetization, that's how they keep things going and pay their employees. The game doesn't even make you pay for the seasonal pass system, it's all free and everything is earnable with enough time. Time = Money and Money = Time If you can't agree with that then you should be moaning more at other titles like CoD which is a $70 title and STILL shovels $20 skin packs down your throat.
I remember when I first started playing Warframe years ago. People told me one of the good things about the game is how it doesn't explain itself. Back then, I disagreed. Years later, I still disagree. The game would be so much better if it guided players and explained mechanics and features with detailed paths and objectives.
I just wish the game had a progression system for soloers that don't want to group. There are sections that REQUIRE group play to pass that make the game horridly painful to play. Why not make a solo alternative that actually still leaves the group instance easier as an incentive. That's what caused me to Burn Out and quit the game for 2 years before opening it up to try it out again. Legitimately that's my one Chief Complaint. Everything else I absolutely can forgive.
Each node needs a server to itself instead of a host player to keep it active. Once completed, the node could reset for players but if the node is "hosted" by the game instead of players, it'd be easier to get into a match. I have been kicked too many times just trying to get into a free roam map.
Dude tbh, that would make it worse, the problem is people not pairing/playing with their own region, like asians give it or take. Im from south america and i can both host and play with NA people with decent ping and playable ping(100-150 ms) without getting dcd myself and other people getting dcd. If this was not the case, they would have to properly make their own host which would cost more, and they would have to make the game more P2W or have more microtransactions and for me, im not expecting to have a server close to me so i can solo or play with friends with good ping... So i dont see a positive in that... Edit: I know half of what i said doesnt make any sense cos im SA playing with NA, but with asians i mean, both me(I get like 400ms with them) and some people on NA will get more than 200-250ms which is already too high and have a lot of dcs cos of instability.
I still have parkour 1.0 flashbacks, the bad kind. Also what pisses me off about flawd mods is that it was promised to be introduced a change to fix them, still waiting, dont mind the roting corpse smell. On narrative i really tried because i personaly love world building, but i quit trying on the voice from the wall that made the "deal?" with the kids to kill adults and get out of the void , i asked last week and if it was explained it was the most ninja feat of the developers. Ps: i loved and still miss ordos bad to this day. The choices where around 3 meaningfull ones and some that where kinda broken because some fast missions buff a lot for 1 next mission and you go suicide and trample stage and boss trying to beat old records betwen us.Ps2: i came to warframe for the game but stay for longer than a year because of the crew that took me in, also they only gave advice when i asked and they nailed , still running Rhino to this day, introduced and help farmed the frame with them, i would be playing with them still if i FFmmo did not work for me,at all, personal but its kinda hate at first look.
Also think that boss rework on venus was great, when i come back to the game and discovered that he is new now i was exited, i really really wish they will rework others tho they will be more interesting to fight, also i recently played remnant from the ashes its soulslike shooter, and god damn it feels great, harder looter shooter is cool thing to play, and duviri i gues should give us something like this. And about steel path new mechanics this is also great idea! because lets be honest at some point we became so overpowered that to give ourselves some challenge we need to spend couple hours on one mission to reach level cap! I dont enjoy such thing my personal maximum is something around half an hour maybe a little bit more...yes i guess we can put off our mods and become weaker and make challenge that way, but i think that DE should make some hard mode for us
If Warframe is a space ninja game then I'm that one ninja who shoots everything on sight with a machine gun. I mean, if you kill them before they can realise what's happening, it's stealth
Also that intro is the second one and that being that i hate duviri story but that is personal beef, digital reset my acount 98% of everything i had from frames to components, the only group of gear that was not 100% gone was mods but only commons survived and all of them flawed.
Best memories of the game are, early game exploring the void missions for rare containers with two friends. Back when you needed keys for it so we took our time
My biggest problem with warframe is one I've had since day one; How bad DE is at explaining how everything really works in game down to the specifics. Especially with how builds actually work.
imagine a quickplay option that chooses a random uncompleted starchart mission if you have any that rewards 0.25 bonus resources for new players, and if you have the starchart completed it chooses a random fissure or invasion that rewards a random relic or bonus resources/creds/void traces on completion.
I wish they would add a link to a video or an in-game video explanation of stuffs on the game (hopefully featuring our boy here). This would make understanding some of the mechanics easier. I just recently returned to the game and it's a bit overwhelming.
I watch quest walkthrough on utube for every quest and system these days. I hate that feeling that I didn't pay attention and missed something, but then find out it was never explained anywhere in the game. Plus, sometimes the person doing it knows the plot and explains what's happening story-wise. =)
I am first time gamer for this Warframe title (and I know I'm not the last) I've been playing it since January and I am in MR9 (what got me playing it was the gameplay of Gauss Prime) and I got lots of questions but I am looking forward to watching videos and learning more and build up my own play style. All I can say for now is what I love, I love the single player campaign and the multiplayer missions (where I compared with other Warframes and then we complete the missions) the only thing (so far) I don't like is joining the clan and trading, I'm still having difficulty of doing that. Other than that I love the game
My first bug in warframe was doing some defense in the game not the one when you defend a box with enemies coming to you but the one where you install some kind of virus into some machines. I picked up the virus and went to the next machine aaaand couldn't interact with it. My team sat there for 10 minutes straight and when 2 people left the mission started up like normal
The funny thing about when you say ‘Turn off region chat’, I started a new account recently. That’s turned off by default! You have to make the ACTIVE CHOICE to enable Region chat-
As I’m sure you figured out in short order since he says it up front, if somehow you managed to miss this for so many years, “Worst MMO Ever” is the name of the SERIES he does, and NOT his conclusion on Warframe. Yeah, a few of the dogs he has played and reviewed are authentically horrible, but that isn’t even the main point of the series. All and all I have found he is pretty fair, and often entertaining as well.
I was very confused and frustrated as a new player because I didn't get it. Whatever it was. The other players rudly told me to unistall and never play again. It turned out that what i wasn't getting was potatos, forma, and the mechanics of modding.
Worst mechanic is host migration
Especially since crossplay. Load times seem much longer, on my ps4 pro at least.
And it resets all your shit too and they STILL HAVENT FIXED THAT
@@HCivicFg2 skill issue
It seems like 99% of the time in Zariman missions (above 90% easily) I lose everything because the host was impatient. Just make it so the host has to wait 20 seconds after his exit attempt, and hopefully that'll be long enough for the game to save my loot
they need to remove the host mechanic entirely
2,500hrs never muted Ordis
3,700 hours, still never muted Ordis
It has been too long since Knightmare Frame played from the start. Warframes are called Tenno from the start. This is part of the setup for the bombshell of the reveal on Lua.
Also the girl in the start I always thought was a local girl praying to a shrine of long gone protectors. Remember the Tenno haven't been around for centuries, and are just waking up now (well 'now' in the intro). Even though they are waking up, they are still in The Matrix, as it were.
Irony is - “Ordis is repetitive give him new lines”
But the community worships Clem as a living saint. The same Clem who has one line.
We Warframe players are an odd bunch.
you high?
*two lines* Clem. Grakata. Nothing more, nothing less...
we worship clem bro
We're not forced to listen to clem say "Grakata" over and over again like we do with Ordis
@@insertedgynamehere___969
and thanks to options madness and sliders galore any player on warframe can decide to listen to or make Ordis (and some others too)shut the hell up :)
Josh made a video after playing the game for 4 hours. I would take nothing he says seriously.

My first bug that I fully remember:
My Kubrow went to open a locker and glitched out and just kept opening the one locker.
/unstuck , is the best advice for new players.
1k hours in, still haven't muted Ordis.
AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT.
There is a specific audio slider now...didn't used to be
The worst is being 20 waves into a defence and they all pick leave in the last second
Real
hey all i've been playing since 2014, i did take a big break but even now i will take 20 mins on a capture. it keeps the game fun because you get to see the time the devs put in the making of the game. the levels, the music, the lighting, and ambient sounds. they are all still amazing 9 years later. also @ KF you are right about the grind vs the time spent. i have finally got the feeling that the time i ground out tons of stuff is worth the time spent. i am by far not the best but i can be space ninja and kill stuff AND live! party on Tennos!
the worst thing about warframe, is all the time gating, standing caps, waiting for frames waiting for everything its just so annoying and a way to make you spend more time on the game
No it happens when host leaves, but rn it's still annoying
Thank no dedicated servers
They should make small 6 to 8 man raids or dungeons to sprinkle throughout the levels starting at mr 16 and beyond stuff that requires teamwork doesn't have to be long as long as it's a challenge and has exclusive loot
Law of Retribution and Jordas Verdict never forget
the junctions are the 2nd phase of the tutorial it tells you what you need to do. the game doesnt hand hold, but it forces you to do those things it just doesn't go out of its way to tell you they are teaching you how to play.
There is a sense of accomplishmentment when u figure something out in this game. Whether it's builds, mods or being able to do certain events/activities you get the feeling you are progressing
I am so behind on Warframe, getting things like arcanes and grinding bounties for so many different factions is just disheartening.
No man, that is the actual content of the game. Once you "grinned it all", the game is kind of over. What makes Warframe tick, is that there is usually something to strive for. I don't have everything yet either, but that is not a problem in order to do content.
That’s the whole appeal of the game, Grinding. If you don’t like it it’s not for you move on
@@Cat7hrt scarlet brainrot take. The appeal of warframe is the gameplay, not the shitty systems and feature creep that leaves me playing catchup.
@@Voupes and that Amazing gameplay you speak of is another grind fest, just a more enjoyable one to yourself. Somethings you find boring others find fun.
Do yourself a favor... don't rush to catch up. You'll run out of stuff to do and be bored waiting.
A few months late, but at 29:30 where you talked about movement, when i originally started playing in warframes early days on consoles, there were so many areas up high in the maps you could get that now have invisible barriers, we got open worlds but so many of the maps are heavily locked down, we got the parkour system, but lost the amazing places that before was a geniune challenge to get to,
the closest you can do now is ivara with her ziplines, which is pretty sad to me
When I first started, there were no junctions or anything.
I cleared the star chart in a week at mr8 with valkyr. She's a beast.
It's like a time out room for... idk what, but it pisses me off still lowkey.
typing "/unstuck" should fix that if it happens again. I was trapped underground in orb vallis till someone joined my squad and told me lol
Recently played a friend thru the beginning. Was really surprised by how much the opening had changed. 1st thing I told him was never even look at the darvo deal
i think the reason flawed mods exist is because of the players not knowing about the potatoes yet to give more mod capacity so the flawed mods let them still upgrade into content until they start unlocking events etc to farm potatoes
smart, I've used flawed mods to do that early on without even realizing that might be the purpose
my first bug?
1:05:35 Knightmare is basically Kahl. Kahl like gun. Gun go boom. Boom is good.
I am astounded that he continually mocks people for not seeing that he is *obviously* watching a different JSH video and then simultaneously doesn't understand the purpose of flawed mods when the reason for their existence is staring him in the face.
The dude is soo annoying !!

They were the guerilla fighters of Japan, and used anything they could get their hands on, and a gun is the holy grail of good weapons to get your hands on.

You gave me shivers with the Aion Launch theme. Oh how I miss that game...
My biggest issue is having no idea what to do other than star chart or knowing what’s worth doing, I hear everyone grinds standing but I have no idea why and what makes it worth it
Everything is worth on warframe, there is too mutch stuff to do!
as a new player, the main thing you should be focusing on are main quests (or just any quest that looks cool) and progressing through the star chart.
personally i cleared every node on a planet before moving on but you dont need to at all.
dont worry about the open world areas just yet!
@@snorpus You don't need all normal star chart unless you want Galvanize mod or Abriter trader
my first bug is a very common one that still exists..... but a worse version essentially.
There is a reason why it's also called bugframe, XD. It's still in beta btw
Yes it has no endgame and every content is really easy (including steel path and high lv survivals) but for some reason me and my friends have at least 2000+ hours and they didn't even realize how long this game sucked their time XD. heres my advice if you want to help new players where to go.
what you tell them to do includes:
complete star chart by opening all nodes along a path from rail to rail making sure you complete the rail requirements as well.
don't ignore your codex missions (don't tell them what missions to do)
explain how things work but don't tell them what to do. for example my friends and i healthgate for infinite energy on drain abilities. its scary if you dont know what your doing. we wouldnt give our builds because of it.
why wouldnt you tell them what missions to do? or why wouldnt you explain how things work? not exactly help now is it
@stinky3583 did you not read I say explain how the system works.
Not exactly like in the cinematic though(paris won't kill everything and destroy the ship, but some weapons will)
The most recent bug warframe has is when it tells me to unlock a mission node even though I just played that mission. Has anyone else had this?

when you were talking about the raids, (around 1:25:00 ish) it reminded me of returnal, which is a ps5 game and one of the bosses has scenery changes for each phase, and just a very hard boss fight in general.
I was trying to remember where that intro music was from. AION?! lol I remember those days.
AION opening nostalgia
My first bug in warframe was on Switch in Sedna Junction. Most of the time after the short cutscene, where it zooms in on the specter and then zooms out, I would never regain control of my character. The only buttons that would do anything were the (L) button to open chat or pause to delay my inevitable doom. At first I thought my controller died until I realized that the pause button still worked.

Im ngl im MR 13 and still struggle with modding 😂 also DE REMOVE HOST MIGRATION OMFG
Plus i heard games like Destiny 2 remove whole parts of the story for no reason and is much more predatory with FOMO packs and stuff, i think Warframe is one of the best free to play examples there is
Its still a grind, but you gotta give them credit for actually being pretty chill, but they gotta make money somehow
they also give away slots for achieving certain goals. for a predatory game they do do a lot to give away every that makes them money. those of us who buy do so so we can support DE and support the free to play. them allowing the premium currency to be tradeable is nearly one of a kind. they are a business they need to make money.
Time = Money and Money = Time
If you can't agree with that then you should be moaning more at other titles like CoD which is a $70 title and STILL shovels $20 skin packs down your throat.
Warframe is alright, I nominate Black Desert Online for the worst MMO instead.
Within 10 months, they got rid of the flawed mods & started giving the good ones. Nice
Empty orbiter is so jarring to see after spending so much time decorating mine XD
Empty... the only incorrect way to decorate.
I think my first bug was joining a squad and spawning outside of the map, in the old spaceship Corpus tileset.
When Nef Anyo got promoted he basically just pointed at a random corpus grunt and said "look at me, you are the Sergeant now".
I think my first bug was falling through the Plains of Eidolon door, and I fell until I reappeared in the level before it was loaded
Best memories of the game are, early game exploring the void missions for rare containers with two friends. Back when you needed keys for it so we took our time
My biggest problem with warframe is one I've had since day one; How bad DE is at explaining how everything really works in game down to the specifics. Especially with how builds actually work.
In a twisted way it makes the game more "attention grabbing" cause you want to learn just what the hell is happening.
its not a problem ... lerning by doing and interacting with other people. if a game explains everything its a shit game.
My first bug was like 8 years ago when i got stuck at a fence/railing in a corpus mission..i learned the /unstuck command trough it
imagine a quickplay option that chooses a random uncompleted starchart mission if you have any that rewards 0.25 bonus resources for new players, and if you have the starchart completed it chooses a random fissure or invasion that rewards a random relic or bonus resources/creds/void traces on completion.
1:02:23 something like this -> +165% base damage and +55% on damage multiplier (Optional: and status damage multiplier)
first bug I encountered was durring the first vor fight, he became invincible indefinitely
I wish they would add a link to a video or an in-game video explanation of stuffs on the game (hopefully featuring our boy here). This would make understanding some of the mechanics easier. I just recently returned to the game and it's a bit overwhelming.
i know right in order to do anything you need like max standing with 20 different syndicates im so confused i have to google everything
@@kolofs did the same thing bro! Lol!
I watch quest walkthrough on utube for every quest and system these days. I hate that feeling that I didn't pay attention and missed something, but then find out it was never explained anywhere in the game. Plus, sometimes the person doing it knows the plot and explains what's happening story-wise. =)
Ah yes. Child soldiers commiting war crimes.
My first bug was a quest .... I got stuck in a quest and couldn't leave or play, after 25 days they reset the quest.
My favorite bugs are when I join an ongoing match and spawn inside a wall.
Out of the map
I am first time gamer for this Warframe title (and I know I'm not the last) I've been playing it since January and I am in MR9 (what got me playing it was the gameplay of Gauss Prime) and I got lots of questions but I am looking forward to watching videos and learning more and build up my own play style. All I can say for now is what I love, I love the single player campaign and the multiplayer missions (where I compared with other Warframes and then we complete the missions) the only thing (so far) I don't like is joining the clan and trading, I'm still having difficulty of doing that. Other than that I love the game
Google Warframe market, You'll thank me later. makes trading much easier like a Warframe Walmart
i personally love that the sargent is a mob. for the nightwave mission :p
Been playing since 2014. Still haven't muted Ordis. I might be the only one who actually likes him lol
4k hours in warframe...
I love ordis
The funny thing about when you say ‘Turn off region chat’, I started a new account recently. That’s turned off by default!
You have to make the ACTIVE CHOICE to enable Region chat-
I'd just like to note how good the sound effect at 1:25:20 was
Warframe is the worst game I've ever played
-1000 hours played
Warframe is my favorite mmo game after losing interest in warcraft', dude in the video is missing out.
Lol
New player maybe confused just like me
But i started to understand the mechanic
And i kinda forget some mechanic now cause too much features
Also as a note. Tenno. Zariman Ten Zero. 10 - 0. Ten - 'O'. Tenno. :)
