- I am very pleased with how this project turned out, but let me know what you think about it in the comments! What do you think I should do with this 111mm Spydernox? Any brilliant names for it?

Pretty cool build. You make it all look so easy. But I understand it is not that easy. Thanks for your time in sharing these videos.
Thank you! A little editing and cutting out the long, tedious parts definitely makes it look easier. 😅
Very cool to see the whole process along with the commentary.
Glad to hear that you enjoyed it.
Wood saw all the way! Thats an amazing tool. Every time you build something I’m like damn that’s the best one yet then you do the next and I say the same thing.
Reminds me of the old Reece's Peanut Butter Cup commercial -- "Two great tastes that taste great together."
😅👍🏻 Nice!
Wow! I had never seen that phillips/pliers layer! That looks perfect. Wish they had that on more knives. Looks like you pretty much have to get the champ to get that layer from factory…
It really is a great combo. There are a couple of models that have it, but not many.
The saw blade seems to be a great choice 😎🇺🇸🤙🏼
Love this and would be my ideal build for a 111mm series. Definitely would buy!
Awesome! Glad to hear that! I plan to auction it off on my Instagram account.
perfect build for me with the saw. I live in the country so that's what id roll with.
Awesome!
I deffinatly would like to see more 111mm mods. Good job
Ok, thanks!
Awsome build! I must say,i am still over the moon with my dragonox whittler.
Thank you! Glad to hear that!
Since this style of SAK is designed more for Bushcraft than the 91mm, the wood saw is definitely the best choice 👍
I really hope Victorinox and Spyderco see your vids... Your work is brilliant. HUZZAH.
I'm on the fence about that. I can see them causing me legal troubles for doing this. 😬
@@FittoSurvive
Eh, you're probably good with Spyderco until they decide to bring back some form of multi tool. Even then...
Victorinox is probably too big to care. They have their place in the market firmly secured.
@@CNYKnifeNut Especially since I'm using all original parts. It's not like I'm forging my own blades and calling them Victorinox or Spyderco. 😅
Excellent stuff, opens up a whole new set of possibilities and blade options.
Maybe a UKPK blade with no liner lock for areas with restrictions?
Cheers 🍻
Thanks! Sure, a UK legal knife could be made.
Again a really really nice mod! Awesome skills Cody
Thank you!
You vision is extraordinary mate. It needs commercial production then it may lose its uniqueness. Nevertheless, always a great show of talent & perseverance. Cheers from Australia.
Thank you! I really appreciate it!
Thanks for those build videos! I made a cool layer in my 111mm, scissors with the glassbreaker from the 111mm Rescue. The scissors go where the inline phillips was, the spring needs to be altered a little. No modifications are necessary for the glassbreaker, it goes where the can opener normally is, but the scissors spring is identical to the can opener spring, so its plug and play 😊
You are welcome! Sounds like a great build.
Wood saw was the right choice for sure. Watching you do your magic is very relaxing, thank you for sharing FtS!
Thrilled to hear that.
A good way to close the blade is to push the liner lock with your thumb and push the back of the edge against your leg until it is halfway closed. Then close it all the way with your index finger or thumb.
Sounds like it would work. 👍🏻👍🏻
Another amazing creation. Thank you.
Thanks!
Nice build man, you excel more and more
Thanks a bunch! I try my best!
I want to see how you pinning alox series!
Ok, I'll schedule a video. I plan on making a custom 58mm with alox scales.
The red with the black looks really nice. Fantastic knife and beautiful work!! 👍
Thanks! I appreciate it
Very cool, wonder if the previous K390 issue was just a fluke. Really like the idea of mixing any of the exotic super steels by Spyderco with all the tool options from Victorinox. Looking forward to all of your 111 mm projects.
Not sure what the issue was. But yeah, the K390 would have been much nicer.
I personally prefer the metal file, but thats the beauty of SAK's. There are so many tool options for whatever your needs are. Great work!
Yes, that's true. Wish I had left the pins long enough to fit both.
Excited to see you delve more into 111mm.
It is fun getting into the larger size.
Cool build as always you’re a master. I like the colors but you finally built a spydernox I don’t want added to my build.😂
Thanks! That's funny. 😅👍🏻
👏👏👏👏👏👏beautiful victorspider tool
Very educative and honest stuff. Thanks!
Awesome build as always!
Thanks again!
Lovely work again
Thanks,
Dang, looks great. Live your work buddy
Really Nice ! 🤩🤩🤩
Great work 👍
Thanks! 👍🏻👍🏻
I would love to see you put your own spin on the sak workchamp with a spyderco or perhaps another knife brand?
That would be awesome. The workchamp is a really cool model.
Nice looking!
Thank you!
Отличная работа как всегда очень интересно 🔥🔥🔥
Спасибо!
Идеальный нож для рыбаков
Nice job
Шикарная работа 👍
Спасибо!
File offers more uses, but really cool build
I went back forth on that one...
Very nice 👌
I'd be curious how usable the saw is as the hump of the Spyderco blade I think will prevent you from having a really good grip.
Can you do both metal file and wood saw?
Yes, I could have if I had left an extra 2mm on the pins.
Great build but I have a question. Could use the scissors instead of the pliers and still use the large inline Philips? I realize it might take some modification.
Thanks. The scissors have a slightly longer phillips screwdriver. Not sure if they would work with the shorter one, I'd have to try that out.
Any chance you do custom orders?!
The pliers are upside down!!! That is why they are sticking out that much! and also the finger groove is on the wrong side. Besides that, great build!
You are absolutely right! 😂😂😂 How crazy is that. Thanks for noticing.
new subscriber and take your like
Why did you install the pliers backwards compared to the way Victorinox does on all there 111mm models ?
I wonder if they wouldn’t fit into the scales better the other way ?
Oops, you are right. I must have installed the spring backwards... Didn't know that was even possible in a 111mm SAK.
That brass pin will wear out
Should be fine. I've been doing this for about 4 years and haven't had any issues with the brass pins wearing out... knocks on wood. 😅
I’m referring to the brass at the blade pivot below the tang. It also looked off center which would be a big problem. Maybe try steel and use a center punch to mark the hole. Do you guarantee your product?
Swiss Army - Spyderco Knife with Knife, scissor, wood saw, can- and bottle opener 😊 tweezers and pen, and probably corkscrew
Green/brown scales
Nice work! - but you know me, there's a question:
I'm no mechanic, but would the small phillips (used as counterpart of the 111mm-scissors) fit into the gap the spyderco-blade leaves? (leaving the linerlock and doing some more mods on the bracket) as far as i was able to assert, the room on the "other side" (for the philips-handle) and the space should be enough?
edit: btw - with all these custom-111m-scales: why did no one come up with plus-scales for the 111mm?
Thank you!
The philips screwdriver is a significantly thicker tool. So, it would not be compatible with the Spyderco blade layer.
Yeah, a plus scale would be really cool. I'll have to do some searching, there might be one out there.
@@FittoSurvive no i ment the philips from the outrider; the one under the scissors, it's thinner than the one you used from the metal-file. the layer is about as thick as the original vic-knife-layer
@@michaelkeller5008 Hmmm... You're right. The scissor layer is the same width, the philips under it might fit.
❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
If you play the video at 75% speed is sounds normal😂
Please put that bit driver in a 58mm build!!!! OMG
The 91mm bit driver? That would be difficult, but cool for sure.
Scissors > pliers
True. But I didn't have any scissors in my toolbox. 😅 Really limited on the 111mm for the time being.
you need a press
Metal file instead...
I went back and forth on it.
You talk way too fast. lol
Yeah, I need to work on that...
@@FittoSurviveI think your talking speed is fine, I actually had the video on 1.5x speed. Awesome build though.
Metal file instead....
Really wish I left pins long enough for both
