Also since the beginning the problem was NEVER the engine but the fuel being used, which in comubstion caused pollution with the produced gasses. With syntetic fuels the problem can be mitigated much more (though not 100% resolved, because a minimum pollution will still be there). Even the FIA Banned the hybrid system on WRC Cars for next year because it's not a affordable solution in the long term, and doesn't fix the problem at its core

To be fair, the V10's from 2004-2005 created an even bigger "vacuum" by spinning up to 19000-20000 RPM and sucking more air into the engine than a V6 Hybrid ever could without the turbo, but the F1 V10's are the best sounding engines ever produced imo. The bass note which can't be heard on TV that much, is felt vibrating through your lungs as one passes you by, imagine 24 of them passing you by.
