- After convincing the other kids to join in their game of Pirates, Eric and Maria manage to escape The Play Grove, and enter Punk Hazard. Deciding to split up, Eric and Maria wind up overhearing Marilyn talking about her late son Dominic, and decide to comfort her, throwing their escape plan out the window.
After Maria cries herself to sleep mourning the loss of Dominic for Marilyn, Eric decides to strike a deal with Marilyn, deciding to offer a week with him and The New Straw Hats, along with Trafalgar D. Adam Law, in exchange for their freedom.
In the midst of all this, the friendly wolf Link steals The Celestial Wand, a powerful staff like weapon that can harness the power of the stars, and reveals himself as Marilyn's ex-husband from days of old, and takes off with The Celestial Wand in The Sunny Kobra!
