Oh, now I see what you're saying. While it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense why it's in this final battle, I personally think it hypes up the finale very well. It's also the ending of the first season, so I think that's what influenced them to use Sono Chi no Sadame. I think it was an excellent decision. Also, on the Jonathan's lineage thing, it does have to do with it. The Pillar Men created the Stone Mask, which made Dio a vampire, which is what truly set the story rolling. Joseph just stuck it to them, living out just one aspect of the fate of the Joestars.

While Jotaro is my favorite so far(I'm only in part 3 so no spoilers) Joseph was freaking awesome. By his own admission, he's far from the strongest Hamon user in the series, but what he lacks in power, he makes up for with tactics and luck. Maybe it's just me, but a protagonist who can think his way out of a problem compared to one who just brute forces it is awesome

While Jotaro is my favorite so far(I'm only in part 3 so no spoilers) Joseph was freaking awesome. By his own admission, he's far from the strongest Hamon user in the series, but what he lacks in power, he makes up for with tactics and luck.
Maybe it's just me, but a protagonist who can think his way out of a problem compared to one who just brute forces it is awesome
