Thank you. I got divorced in January 2024 and I am at peace with it, because it was necessary. My ex husband was not committed and God showed me that I deserved more. However, recently I have been thinking about all that we went wrong. But this session was God sent. Because I know I did my best

Mannnn all the feels with this episode. When Juliette said “that’s childish stuff”, readjusted her crossed legs, swept her hair to the side, and then proceeded to say “I’m trying to live my best life with my men in my family. Who’s got time for all that?”. A whole mood, a whole convo, a whole Era 👏🏾. I hollered yes ma’am Mrs. Ross yes ma’am 😂, because it’s so true.
Life is short but it’s also too long to purposely to bring unnecessary nonsense, especially when life will bring many of those frustrations our way 😂. Beautiful convo inside and out per usual, I love it when you two speak together on any platform.
May God continue to strengthen and encourage your efforts personally and relationally and thank you again for all you both do to shine your lights together and individually ❤️ 🙏🏾. Book closed 😅

I’m the mom in G’s scenario. I had been abused for all of the marriage, from physically to financially, and I left my kids in the home with him, I had reached a breaking point. Definitely was living in situations were difficult….”the two parent home” ran in my head for YEARS!!! Wow! I have learned to value myself. All I can hope is that our relationship is reconciled as they get older. Juliette is hitting the nail on the head. Y’all pray for me man. My ex is now greenmailing me and is a narcissists. Making it hard to resolve assets/liabilities, lawyer fees mounting and he’s “moved on”. It is hard to see the end. Dwellers pray for me, agree with me. Thank you 🙏🏾

I met my spouse then married a year later. My deal breaker when we met was no porn or addiction to that and other things. On my honeymoon my world was rocked but then a month later it was schattered!!!! In April we will be married a year and the first year has been horribly painful. He had a massive heart attack a month ago. While he was in the medical coma his phone was chalked full of deceptions that for 5 months he had said he was sober , collecting chips from C.R. And fooling everyone!!! The biggest thing for me was … seeing him lay there knowing it was all a lie and still CHOOSE to stay, wash him, feed him, brush teeth , wait on him hand and foot till he was well enough to do things alone. Last week on his month anniversary of living he chose to edge again and I was so hurt because it’s been so painful! I need help!!!! For me! Not him … ME!!! Because I need to learn to seperate and heal for me while he gets his mess under control. I really really really like this pod cast . It’s hot so hard! So when she said till death do us part ….. boy did it resonate.

The vows conversation hit deep for me. I'm watching it happen with my parents and there's nothing more beautiful than watching it live and direct. Mum's health would test any man, and seeing dad just be her best friend and companion through it raises my standards on what I desire for a husband daily. The more I watch them interact through it all the more I know I will not settle for just anything. ❤

I wish I had this around when my parents told us about their divorce at age 18 back in 2015. Tbh I wish I had this before that because the way my dad created the dynamics in our household, I was targeted all the time as the only girl among my 3 brothers. Even in their divorce they found a way to form a narrative against me. I was never truly heard our nor understood since they always found a way to put me in the narrative to make me out to be the bad guy all the time. I was constantly exhausted and often had nobody but God to lean on tbh.

I went into therapy for my own issues, but eventually came to realize that I was in an emotionally abusive, financially abusive, and spiritually abusive marriage. Even then I stayed for years, until one day in therapy the Holy Spirit told me "It Takes Two."
