What should I try for Daaaaay 17?
Pls try Pakistani food
Pls try Turkish food plssss
Idk hmmmm
Pork roll egg and cheese :D
Chinese food!
The Irish and English breakfasts are pretty similar, some people have mushrooms and we usually have hash browns instead of white pudding. Also most people mix everything together and have a big bite of everything at once with lots of tea ofc
Yes 🙌
Fried bread. Can’t forget the fried bread 🤤
Yep, that is why l was thinking where is the mushrooms and hash browns?!
@@lightlady4 OMG YESS. I LOVVVVEEEE FRIED BREAD 🍞🇬🇧🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
All about black pudding and tinned plum tomatoes
The only difference between an Irish and an English breakfast is that we sub the white pudding for a hash brown and we normally have some fried bread along with it as well!! So really, not much difference at all!! This was a slap up brekkie 😆 Oh, and also, it’s just called bacon - not rashers - but, if you want to get technical about it all bacon is called ‘rashers of bacon’ but the difference between American and English bacon is that the bacon you ate here is called back bacon and the American type is called streaky bacon, which we also have and eat here in the UK! Back bacon is made from the loin and streaky from the belly!
Also mushrooms!!
@@michaelangelo2192 of course! How could I forget the fried mushrooms?!
“fried bread” lol. literally just toast
@@emwood96 thank you for example 🙂
We do the same in liverpool
Wait omg I'd love to go here next time it's so cool that it's the oldest Irish business outside of Ireland!
It looks delicious
@@Hamox Ikr
OMG how lucky to have someone cook you up an Irish Breakfast! Full breakfast is a treat I'd have about once a fortnight on a weekend.
You don't typically eat the food items individually when you eat a full english. The idea is to mix them together for the ultimate bite. (I was suprised you didn't do this!)
Yuuuuuup. Well said
She did make the ultimate bite at one point 🤦♂️
she prolly don't want people to say it's the wrong way of eating it
@@rawrrawr4063 Isn't it typically an American thing to eat things one by one?
@@simulacra9854 no, Americans like to fused different food together. that's how cheeseburger exist.
I’ve lived in Kansas City for almost 10 years now (originally I’m from St. Louis) and had no idea there was an Irish market. Let alone the oldest Irish market outside of Ireland! I love that I can watch your videos and learn about new places in our city that I didn’t know before!
It looks scrumptious.. personally I don't like white pudding but hey everyone to their own.. love your channel Lisa.. greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪 ☘
This is absolutely an English breakfast, there's no set list of exact components it's just pick your fave from the typical ones. The white pudding is the only thing out of the ordinary, when you said Irish breakfast I was expecting potato cakes which are also good.
All I'd say is its nicer when you cook all the elements different ways so it's not just fried. Grilled baby tomatoes and bacon and sausages cooked in the oven give you an excuse to have fried bread with your choice of eggs lol. I loveeee fried bread, its so bad yet so good.
wait is fried bread just a piece of bread fried???
@@caroleigh3461 shallow fried in a pan yes its amazing you bite into it and its juicy with oil its like having the crunch of toast but the butter's in 3D lmao
But to balance out the meal you've gotta have like the eggs poached and the meat grilled sorta thing. Worth it though every now and then.
Beans on fried bread too, that's glorious.
@@SpeedyOwl mmm that sounds so good, i’m going to have to try it
wow its almost like Ireland was a protectorate of england for a few centuries, crazy.
the only "absolutely English" part of it is the smella colonisation off the plate. It's an Irish thing, the English just like to copy 🤣
As an Irish person I approve❤️ so happy you got to try an Irish breakfast. Glad you enjoyed it!🇮🇪
I actually can't wait to try an Irish breakfast! Being a londoner it's been well over due! 😂
As an English person and I would say it’s not really different, maybe replace the soda? Bread with fried bread or buttered toast or add hp sauce (or brown sauce as we call it) or field mushrooms, but ultimately there isn’t a singular “English breakfast” it more of a list of foods that you can mix and match to make a version you like!
Also it’s always amusing to hear people say “English breakfast” because to me It’s just a fry up!😊
Both an Irish and English breakfast are very very similar, the only difference is that instead of having White pudding we have some Mushrooms and hash browns, and we have toast instead of just plain bread. We also mix everything together to have the ultimate bite!
Hash browns are an American addition to the full English. They are a good addition but definitely not traditional.
Yes, defiinitely need a nap and a gallon of water after eating that! Lol
My Irish husband makes a traditional Irish breakfast (aka Irish fry) for our family every year on Christmas morning. When we went to Ireland, we had it for breakfast almost every day. It's a heart attack on a plate, but it's delicious and hits the spot on a damp, chilly morning.
Just a sidenote, that is brown bread and it is very dense. Good, but filling!
I appreciate it so much for posting this Ms. Lisa. Loving your contents here. Keep posting amazing food experience. 😊
I'm Irish and I love to see my country and foods being brought up, idk why it just makes me happy 💞👍
Lisa should try cooking stew based maggi noodles and soft bacon
Yes,soft bacon.
I love all you vids, it makes me so happy when you post❤️ keep it up
I love how every country has its own full and yummy breakfast 😋. One day, I'll have to try a full Irish and English breakfast ❤.
That looks amazing!
I could definitely go for an English breakfast right about now.
This is probably one of the top food that Lisa has ever posted. English breakfast never looked so good here
I’m English and I personally have fried bread, bacon, sausages, fried egg, mushrooms, tomato, hash browns & beans. Now I’m starving 🤣
I worked at an Irish pub before and got introduced into that meal, I must say it was 🔥. 🤙
Hey, could you please try German sourdough bread? You know it’s a good one when it taste great on its one, with butter, or with butter and salt. You need good butter tho
How is german sourdough bread different than other countries sourdough bread? Do you just mean rye bread? It's actually pretty common in many european countries, definitely not only a german thing and I've never heard that specific name so I got curious lol
There is nothing more like a good old authentic Italian dishes like Risotto ❤️❤️
Thank you Lisa and Jeanelle for your contents.
My one of the favourite breakfasts of all time. ❤️☺️
Day three of asking Lisa to try this:
Cook the Samyang noodles stew type like you normally would (add the red sauce packet to the water), then drain most of the water and let the rest soak into the noodles.
Then cook some meat in olive oil, best is pork marinated with some spicy marinade of your choice but steak also does the trick.
Cut the meat into small pieces and put them on the noodles, then pour the leftover olive oil that cooked with the meat over the noodles.
Last add the green seasoning packet and you're done.
It's great and a good variation from normal instant noodles!👍
For day 18, you should make a Tamilian meal! Make dosai, it’s like a savoury crepe that’s crispy and it has a circle it’s very nutritious and if can be eaten for any time of the day. I recommend eating it with curry. (Try some South Indian cuisine if you cannot make this recipe)
Here’s a recipe I found:
To make the batter, first the lentils and rice are soaked in water for 4 to 5 hours. They are then ground separately to a fine consistency.
Then both the lentil batter and the rice batter are mixed with salt in a wide bowl or pan. This batter is then allowed to ferment overnight or for 8 to 9 hours.
After the batter is fermented, it increases in volume, has a pleasant fermented aroma and a slightly sour taste. A well-fermented batter makes the best dosa. You will also see many tiny air-pockets in the batter.
Making the batter and then fermenting it is such a joy that I always look forward to making fermented foods like dosa and Idli.
The fermented batter is poured on a seasoned cast-iron pan or skillet (tawa) and spread like a pancake and cooked till crispy and golden with a drizzle of oil or ghee.
Yooo thanks
That looks wonderful
Yes Barry’s tea is so good and black pudding is my favourite
Lisa you should try Pakistani BBQ (especially chicken tikka). And also nihari with nalli (bone marrow)
Edit: chicken karahi and biryani too
Also, to anyone else who may think I'm claiming these dishes as Pakistani "property", I'm not.
Can't forget chicken karahi
@@manspeej biryani ftw 🇮🇳🤝🇵🇰
When did chicken tikka became pakistan's property ? ( it comes under south asian cusine )
@@kulmeetsingh_ biryani is better than karahi imo
@@manspeej true that
I’m not English but been leaving in London for 8 years and when I order full English breakfast is just like that but has hash brown and mushrooms too. Anyway good choice Lisa 😍
Good on ya for doing the suggestions so wholeheartedly ❤️
this looks rlly good!!!
Day 14 of asking Lisa to try Pakistani food 🇵🇰🇵🇰
Honestly I don’t know Pakistan food as I am a Indian but I do respect Pakistanis maybe some are rude but no offence but some are amazing tooo I want to see the Pakistani culture lots of love from India 🇮🇳♥️♥️
@@vaishaliassija6084 why're you even saying that that's so unnecessary
@eejo same
@@vaishaliassija6084 so rude and you Indians are rude yesterday I went to watch a movie and someone was barefoot with his feet on my friend’s hair
@@steveharrington7986 😂
Lisa could you please make fish head curry also known as (muri ghonto)
Muri ghonto is a bengali recipe. In this recipe, crispy fish head is cooked with rice and potatoes in some spices. The word 'Muri' stands for fish head and 'Ghonto' means mushy curry. It is the perfect side to accompany with hot steamed rice
"I went home and took a nap."
I felt that.
Full English needs all of this minus the white pudding some mushrooms, hashbrowns and fried bread or toast. This does look good though and very close to the full English
when Lisa's roomate was like 'this girl can make anything taste amazing' she meant it
7th time asking for Lisa to try Egyptian food
Having to that a nap after an Irish / English breakfast is the seal of approval for me!
That's amazing. I really need to try a full English breakfast some time.
Keep peanut butter on dates and top it with nuts, its really good
Stuff dates with goat cheese or a whole almond, wrap with bacon and bake.
There are two differences that I can see between full English and Irish
On the English you have either pure orange or pure apple juice instead of tea and you have hash browns
Overall, they are not too different
we have fresh orange and tea. usually orange is for the kids
That store looks so cozy...
I don’t remember seeing it before but Congrats on 3 mil Lisa!!
Even got the white pudding. Props for that!
Heinz baked beans, no white pudding and add bubble and squeak.... although you don't need the bubble. I always have mushrooms with mine
I fell in love with that store when that fridge opened.
This is amazing
She is so good ❤❣️
yes , using the bread to soak up the egg is awesome .
That looks delicious
on english breakfast we dont have white pudding but we have mushrooms and hash brown. we have toast or fried bread instead of just plain bread. we sometimes have tinned plum tomatoes instead of fresh fried tomatoes
Delicious meal 😍💜
Lovr your videos keep up the good work
Usually have hashbrowns and mushrooms also! With fried bread that was buttered heavily on both sides
Looks sooo good it could easily be dinner.
Even though my family is australian We eat a full english on sundays and on random days of the week! Its a great way to start the day
U make ur ideal subway sandwich!!! I love ur videos 😊😊
Amazing, perfectly cooked. You and your friend did well good madam.
in Ireland, we usually add potatoe bread as well ! it’s more common in northern ireland.
irish breakfast is superior, absolutely love it when my mom makes it
I would love to see you try Karelian pie! It's a nice Finnish snack with rice and ryedough!!
Yum
My grandmother used to make us this breakfast EVERY Saturday. All my siblings would goto her house on the sat to eat breakfast then we would go to garage sales or op shopping with her before chilling for the rest of the day. Was awesome cause we always got a super yummy meal and we got to hang with my grandmother almost every weekend
yum
Nothing beats natural, healthy, authentic Irish food. Our dairy is second to none. Calcium rich grass fed cows produce some of the best beef and dairy in the world! Also one of the reasons why are the best in the world at Horse Racing. American beef is packed full of steroids and other meats such as pigs and chickens are stuck in cages their entire lives. Clonakilty sausages, rashers, black & white pudding are the best in the country and Kerrygold is arguably the best butter in the world. Now eaten all over the United States. Some incredible breads, cheeses & alcoholic beverages too. Happy St. Patrick’s day 🇮🇪☘️
I love those kind of fry ups in Ireland
Congrat on 3 million sub
Nothing is better than an english breakfast. Literally nothing beats it. It’s SUCH A FILLING MEAL. Gives SO MUCH ENERGY!! IT’S JUST THE BEST.
It’s a little work making it, but it’s TOTALLY worth it (coming from someone who HATES cooking big, time consuming meals)
Love the video
Congrats on the 3 million subs 😀
Eat "Millie meal🌽powder"(pap) tomato gravy and Wors sausage/ grilled steak 🇿🇦🌍💚
That looked amazing. I've had variations on the full English in England, and in Scotland, though I guess there it's a Scottish Breakfast. So, mostly the same, with tiny variations all through the islands. The thing that struck me was the white pudding. I was never offered that. I have been offered the black pudding and yet to actually try it. I guess I should.
What you had was pretty close to a Scottish fry breakfast minus the Loran sausage & fried potato cakes and Haggis mmmm am drooling just thinking about it plus brown sauce is a must side and scotch rolls on the side to make a cheeky sandwich all wash down with a nice pot of tea
Haha I’m Irish this is so fun to watch because it’s so different to them but it’s so normal to us!!😂💖🤣
loooking goood Lisa!
First I love your content Lisa it is amazing
Sean is a hell of a friend❤🙏
As an Irish person, that’s my favourite food from here.
Do a London breakfast or lunch! Please its really good
One of my favourite things to make is a simple bacon and egg sandwich, bacon on the bottom, egg going the top with bbq drizzled on top all while being inbetween two pieces of toasted bread, you can even pan fry some sausage slices and pop it on too. Make sure I got a drink too, my work usually let's there be an iced coffee deal with it :)
You have to try hotspot or sticky rice dumplings or beef noodle soup !!!!!
❤❤❤❤
So superb
I am irish and I live in Ireland you did I pretty good!
Damn, that look delicious
U should try Amala and Ewedu... there's stew with the Ewedu with meat, chicken, or fish... a Nigerian delicacy ✨
This is making me so hungry
Need to try Sunday dinner, meat(chicken, beef, pork which ever you fancy) Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, roast potatoes, mash potatoes, vegetables (broccoli, green beans, carrots, peas, cauliflower, sprouts) parsnips and gravy
black puddings my favvv 🤤
J. Kenji’s kimchi fried chicken sandwiches are amazing. You should definitely try making those.
Man that looked good.
Please try Canadian food! (Poutine, Montreal smoked meat sandwich with mustard, lobster roll, butter tarts, tourtiere, fish and brewis and a bottle of Canadian maple syrup on the side)
Try peanut butter and sriracha. One of my favourite meals from back home in Guadalajara. A tradition, if you would
Yesuhhhhh. Used to alway enjoy these in agua azul parque 😍!!!
Ngl I usually have fried bread with mine it's so gooood
My mouth is watering....
Try falafel, it's a Lebanese/Turkish dish traditionally made with chickpeas.
Afternoon
. I'm part Irish too. But, 4Corners Diné mostly
