The first couple of days are with my family, then I hop from Fukuoka (south of Japan) to Sapporo (northern Japan) with @LisaNguyen.

In the US we have a thing called “veggie straws” they look like straws and have the illusion that they are good for you. Hate to say it’s just another empty calorie snack for kids. Clever marketing though.

I had so much fun watching this, Jeanelle! I know it took a lot of effort, so thank you for taking us with you on your trip. Shinkansen hopping from Fukuoka to Sapporo must have taken a lot of planning. So jelly of all the food you tried. 14:33 Just FYI, the Japanese “salad” flavor is actually “salad oil” with salt. It’s never meant to taste like vegetables. For example, most of the light colored salted rice crackers(not the dark brown soy sauce flavored ones) are salad flavor.

I see them eating giant bowls of ramen, pork buns, bento boxes, sushi, and just so much food in each sitting. It makes me sick a little, so its hard for me to watch a whole video.
