You're the best out there, not only working even on the street/parking but at the same time filming, providing such high-quality and detailed videos it is indeed astonishing. Congratulations on this skill you have. Great achievement, it is one of a kind never met nor seen by someone else.
Great job as usual! Like how you leave subframes in the vehicles and work around them, Great time saver and it supports the gearbox too. I had to replace the timing chain on a 1.6 diesel Mokka a few weeks ago, what a job, subframe out gearbox out and then strip half the engine down as its on the rear of the engine! Fair play again for doing that on the floor 👏
Hi Kevin my wife found this youtube channel of you and she said Kevin does the same work I do she showed me the youtube video I really like your videos . I am also Mobile mechanic in Australia .thanks Kevin -Albert
bloody hell Kev, whatever your charging for a Mokka...........double it, what a nightmare, having to take off, and put back all those auxiliary's, before you get to the job....respect
Hi Kevin, Well done mate another one completed with precision. Mind you, if the person who design it had to work on it, they would make it more accessible for replacing the clutch. Well done Kevin. 👍👍
Does a 2016 Vauxhall Mokka 1.6 CDTi Exclusiv need its timing chain replaced regular intervals ? Awesome video. When someone like you does a hard job & made it look easy you know its done by a high level skilled mechanic. To film while doing it the same time, that's another level. Fantastic job. 👍
Kevin , great work ethics. Wondering what brand of spray bottle you use to stand up to the brake cleaner. And just how thick are the mats that you use.
Jacking up the crossmember is okay to this car? My car is this model. I am wondering if the crossmember bent then sreering pipeline will affected. How do you think
Hi William Fantastic video as always thanks for sharing I hope you get a Dacia duster clutch replacement soon because I’ve a 2016 one to do in the not to distant future,, I serviced one during the week and when dropping it back to the customer I noticed you can make the clutch slip if you want to.. When I got back home I looked through your videos and there was no clutch replacement on the duster...... so if the opportunity arises I would greatly appreciate the video William Tia Eric
Another great job. Kevin what is the average hours spent on a clutch job. I know every car is different but once your on the job just curious. Even with a lift in my shop it can still take 4 to 5 hours depending. Be safe.
That s an amazing job. Quite a lot of work compared to others. Doesn't the car loses all data with battery removed so long Running parameters? Radio code? Ect
Great video mate nice one. Would be really interested to know if you ever have any "oops" or "oh f**k" moments (stripped/snapped bolts, break something you shouldnt etc.)
There’s a known issue with the pressure plate coming to light on these. The self adjuster mechanism comes apart and the symptoms are heavy clutch pedal and hard to engage/disengage gears. Repair times for me personally was 5hrs.
@@WMCS That's exactly my issue, pedal has gone solid, just waiting for a slot in the workshop, how far from base do you go? I'm on the outskirts of Ipswich
Great job and much respect for your work! Do you thighten all these screws just with the electric impact or do you tighten them by hand some more after that? You seem to have a good feeling with that machine :)
bonjour excusez moi svp. j'ai une Opel mokka 2014. et j'ai un problème d'embrayage, est ce que c'est le même cas que vous avez maintenant. merci par avance
No Mokka's on that .. (means bad luck) a bit of messing about but fairly easy and a daylight finish .. soon be warmer weather then you can put that heater on ebay, lol. thanks for the vid
Bonjour peut tu m aider mon mokka à 104 ooo kilomètres j ai un bruit de casserole quand je démarre à chaud pendant 5 seconde de plus ma pédale d embrayage se durci et après plus rien c reparti !merci de ta reponse
@@WMCS thanks Kevin I did actually watch the whole video and saw the slave cylinder, but i wondered if you can access it from outside the gearbox, my moms car broke down it wont go into gear when running but will when off, the clutch pedals very heavy, my friend recons its the slave cylinder, but is there a chance it could be the clutch master cylinder?
Karol it’s a good point. The issue are coming from the parts themselves. On this one. The DMF locked itself halfway and in turn damaged the adjuster mechanism in the pressure plate. Causing the springs to break
I’ve always felt that manufacturer’s should be more liable for failure of major components, even when out of warranty. Unless this car was wheel span everyday or has done over a 100k miles, I think it should be paid for. Rubbish parts.

Dual mass flywheels, what a racket. Nice job, good to see some people still got the enthusiasm to do this type of work

Thanks for the feedback Sam
This looks like the hardest one I've seen you do so far.
The mini cooper R53 is the hardest
Top guy this! Knowledgeable and a real grafter.
Thanks Andrew. Really appreciate the feedback
Quality mate, so fast with super fast tools , I’m just getting my Mokka done so picked up a few tips . Well done fellow 👍
my clutch judders when pulling off on my Vauxhall astra 2.0 cdti is this common problem on this car , great video
Kinda figured you'd upload a full video of the Mokka since there was a lack of footage of it in the behind the scenes haha great job as always 👍🏻
As usual, job well done! Well done Kevin!
I agree sunday treat ... Kevin hope ur keeping well chum 👍🙂
Driveway Ninja! 🛠
I am a mechanic and I wouldn't attempt that job in a 100 years.... this guy is a prodigy...
Good work! A big machine with a relatively small engine. At least quite easy for you! Thanks for the video!
Brilliant work. Is that a 1/4 milwaukee long reach ratchet. Many thanks
bloody hell Kev, whatever your charging for a Mokka...........double it, what a nightmare, having to take off, and put back all those auxiliary's, before you get to the job....respect
Must admire this guy’s skill. He is only using high quality tools: Milwaukee and Snap-on
Goes threw them clutches like a 16 year old joyrider lol love your work kev stay safe
Thanks for another great Video Kevin. 👍🏻💪🏻

That’s it Mark. It’ll be nice to see one of them engineers one day.
Cracking video as always kev, was wondering do you do any additional work if the customer asks for example change the front brakes or quick service???
I love your videos.
Thanks a lot man 🤝

do you not test if the clutch is working properly before attaching everything?

It’s all programmed in the ecu. So you’re good.
@@WMCS hi Kevin,
So everybody trying to warn for that are trying to sell you obd memory saver stuff that you actually do not need?
excellent👍👍👍
Thankyou.
Hi from spain this week have same mokka 1,4 petrol for clutch replacement i see it same
Great video mate nice one. Would be really interested to know if you ever have any "oops" or "oh f**k" moments (stripped/snapped bolts, break something you shouldnt etc.)
In the early days., now if I feel it’s gonna snap I work around it. I take off the whole hub sometimes if the driveshaft is seized in the spline.
Nice mate. Still don't understand wye vauxhall still putting the clutch pipe on the slave 🤷
A bit of a dated system. I think it’s GM design.
Yeah probably right there, still just that worry of it leaking and then doing the job on a warranty claim witch is pretty my sod all lol
Bonjour monsieur très belle video je vous suit a la lettre qu'elle quantité huile de boite de vitesse sur un 1.7cdti s'il vous plais ?
How many hours labour was there in this and what was the reason for the clutch failure? Thanks.

Awesome how much to fit a reckon gear box " same model.
Hi Kevin really good videos, great job, quick question what Camara do you use to do your recording?👍🏽
It’s a GoPro mechanic.
@@WMCS thanks 👍🏽
great Video Kevin.
Dobra robota .
hey up kevin? can ask whats screwdriver for on flywheel, love ya videos fella keep it up,
I suspect it's to lock the fly wheel when he tightens the dual mass flywheel up, as it would rotate the engine crankshaft.
Great job and much respect for your work! Do you thighten all these screws just with the electric impact or do you tighten them by hand some more after that? You seem to have a good feeling with that machine :)
That’s exactly how I do it. As the videos.
But if unsure of tightness always use a torque wrench.
Mashallah
Bonsoir, pourquoi les plaques noir sous les deux roues avant?
Very quickly got used to my 3/8 impact ratchet, bet you wouldn’t be without yours now too?
It’s definitely made itself invaluable that ratchet.
Comment tu fais pour te rappeler ou remettre les pièces démonté?
Saludos de san Luis Potosí México magnífica herramienta y muy buen trabajo👍👍👍👍🆗
nice work kevin 💪🏻💪🏻.. bad noise the mokka at the first start !! old oil?
I did wonder myself. The customer did mention it before the repair.
@@WMCS Its normal on these engines however it sounds horrible after 1 day standstill or more. low oil pressure on chain tensioner.
Use the force 💪🏾✌🏾
Where are you situated
Typically how many clutches would you do in a week? Regards
I used to do 10 in a a 5 day week.
I’m taking it easy now. I just do 5
That’s some going . Fair play . Thanks for the reply .

Yes exactly the same. Identical
Hi kevin, on a car that young its got to be a faulty part ? Great work again my friend and top video 👍👌
Hey Max. The part was faulty. As was the. Audi in the last video. Both clutch plate had about 80% left.
But issue with DMF and pressure plate.
@@WMCS not a fan of the DMF my self but they do play apart in keeping the gear box alive in the high torque engines
I don’t know what you throw at Mr. Williams to challenge him , but I’m hard pressed to think of anything
have you changed a clutch that you've never worked on and just winged it ?
A lot of newer models. I’m doing first time. So it’s all very exciting.
I live in America. Can I come work for for you ? Please Its unbelievable how hard work you do and I would love to learn from such a expert please?
That’s it mate. You’re welcome for some work experience.
No Mokka's on that .. (means bad luck) a bit of messing about but fairly easy and a daylight finish .. soon be warmer weather then you can put that heater on ebay, lol. thanks for the vid
Definitely getting warmer. Ooo now now. I wouldn’t want to upset the Chinese now would I by putting it on eBay. It has to go on Alibaba mr grumpy. 😁✨
Needing a clutch after only 4 years? Any idea what mileage it was on?
There’s a know issue with the pressure plate mechanism it falls apart. The clutch plate itself was ok.
@@WMCS Thanks. I should've known really. At least they don't have that bloody awful M32 chocolate box!!!
Mine has just done the same on the same model of vehicle and same engine, it had only done 29k
