I love how natural and fluffy your hair looks, I normally get well defined hair on washday but the day after is all just random lumps. Any tips on how to get that "not a lot of products" look while getting enough moisture at the front and around the face?
I have this problem too, I personally just spray more water in those areas to get it more wet than damp. Then I scrunch it with a t shirt or microfiber cloth, not my bare hands (so it dries faster and with much more defined waves). The water feels like it “activates” the old products I put in the day before so I don’t have to reapply more product
WOW these hair videos have been so helpful!! I’ve never been able to find tips like these for my hair type, it’s always just for curly hair and those don’t quite work for me. I’m excited to try these out, thank you!
Your hair is beautiful. I have been doing pretty well with my wavy hair routine, my hairdresser gave me great tips. Your method is different, especially how much you condition and moisturize it. I use primer instead of leave in conditioner. I have curling mousse, but I use bond cream and then shake it upside down and scrunch until it's not "crispy", my hair is color treated and looks a bit dry on the ends. I have pretty much all of the products you use (not all the same brands). I'm going to do a refresh today following your steps rather than mine and see how it goes.
This was super helpful, one question I still have is about scalp tenderness. I’ve noticed with my hair texture by day 2-3 the scalp feels really tender and I’ve thinned out the weight of the hair during a hair cut but it still feels sore at the end of the day
Michelle I just want to say thank you so much for uploading this video. I have your exact same hair texture and I always struggle to find a proper routine for my hair because I’m UA-cam there was mainly “curly” hair routines. I also appreciate you used affordable products. Great content!
Thank you for your videos sis! Our hair is pretty much exactly the same, mine is just short at shoulder length (but I’m trying to grow it out long!!) your videos are sooo helpful to me! I just figured out I have wavy hair less than 2 weeks ago
hi sis! i LOVE your hair! btw just a tip for youtube, dont forget to add videos to your home page, because when i initially get in your channel i dont see any videos until i clicked the videos tab. goodluck!
eu amei, meu cabelo é muito parecido com o seu, mas eu não estava achando ele tão bonito por causa do corte que fiz. Fiquei feliz de ter encontrado você como inspiração, seu cabelo é lindo
Great useful tips!😍😍😍 But I think using oil before the leave in conditioner or any moisturizer isn't the best choice Because oil may prevent absorbing the moisturizer ”which is water_ based” 😅
I have wavy hair. Recently i straightened my hair and it damaged it ALOT. They are now extremely frizzy and dry. I want to regrow my hair. Im just 13 so i dont earn myself and i usually buy skincare with all my allowance but now i think i should focus on my hair too. I have enough money to buy a good curly hair shampoo and conditioner but not the leave in conditioner, the gel, the curling cream and the hair mask, is it alright if i start with just a curly hair shampoo and conditioner and after saving up money i buy the other stuff? Will it effect my hair in any way? Like will my hair be better than they are right now? I have been oiling my hair for a year and i dont use alot of heat like just once a month. I used the dove intense repair shampoo and the loreal elvive conditioner earlier but it completely ruined my hair. Now im stuck with a bush on my head
Only days I want to wear my hair down in between wash days. A lot of the time I’ll just braid my hair in between washes bc it’s easier than refreshing it every time

I use the refreshing foam by not your mothers. It’s much more lightweight than gel and it doesn’t leave your hair stiff after it dries

Your hair is soooo pretty! Thanks for the video.
I just got a Denman brush and it's made a huge difference with my wavy hair. Definitely give it a try if you haven't already!

I would appreciate a video where you review different styling brushes, behairful, denman, and i think briogeo have one too.
Bonnets and silk pillow cases are a must!
yes!

Most likely seborrheic dermatitis - try a scalp exfoliant

I use the deman brush and we have the same hair I think. I love it more than my comb and I like that it stimulates my scalp too!

Do you prefer a layered cut over a curly cut?
Do you wash your hair everyday with water while showering?
I have question in the morning how should you should style your wavy hair
I heard you shouldn't brush it so how should you style it everyday
ahhh!!! thank you 💓
ofc!!
do you do that on everyday that’s not a wash day or just once in between two wash days?
Only days I want to wear my hair down in between wash days. A lot of the time I’ll just braid my hair in between washes bc it’s easier than refreshing it every time
Do you have fine or coarse wavy hair?
