It's very validating to learn from Dr. Dan Nadeau that a low carb diet is not the way to go and that Chef AJ's approach to eating whole foods is indeed the way to lose weight and be healthy!
❤I recall my first Natural Foods Store in Lahaska, PA where I learned to eat brown rice and buy bulk foods to be more healthy. I now buy beans and bulk grains, nuts, oats locally in Morro Bay, CA and go to my farmers' market for my fruits and vegetables. I aim to be as healthy as possible. Thanks for all your videos Chef AJ! They keep me on track😊
This was a great presentation and reminds me of the book I recently read "Eat to Beat Disease" by Dr. William Li. I love when physicians direct the scientific pieces of foods and how they heal and support the body. I have eaten this way since I was told I have MS 14 years ago and I am proof that it is the way!
This was a great presentation with such helpful information. His way of explaining why fruits and vegetables are so important in our diet everyday and how they help to get rid of unwanted inflammation was easy to understand. I got a lot out of this one👍
My ex thought it was funny when I had t2d because I was never into sweets, didn't drink a lot of soda, and didn't care for processed meats. I did beat it. However, I still haven't healed my thyroid, hbp, or chronic cough. I could eat better, for sure, but have never eaten poorly. A friend's grandfather who eat sad just died at 100. It is discouraging.
Has Dr. Nadeau ever dealt with diets for cancer patients who want to Slow the growth of their cancers? I wonder if he has seen comorbidities with the hyper metabolic state people with active tumors deal with? And do dietary needs change when living with a solid cancer or the cachexia that sometimes remains after cancer treatments- like muscle weakness/ fatigue/ thyroid issues and more.
