Hope this helps, then you can move the white and black boxes, each is connected to a texture so as you move the box closer to the opposite end the less the texture will be visible and the more dominant the other texture will be
@@aigleeee Click on the blue z to get the top view, make sure it doesn't say -z, and If you mean that the path isn't visible on the rest of the landscape, I'm guessing your path isn't deep enough, easy fix for that is go to object view, click s and then z to scale on the z axis and this should allow you to stretch your landscape, the little bumps around the place will be a little taller but your path will also be deeper so only increase the scale the tiniest little bit and only on the z axis
You can use the path vertex group as a mask for the path material, using the attribute node and a color ramp for more control insted of creating a new image texture. Great tutorial!❤

Worst thing to do is skip steps in a tutorial bro. I'm confused at 5:52 . Did you select both the leaves and ground? Also how did you get the extra mix shader and where did the other noise texture come from. Instead of seeing a dirt path im seeing something else.

love the tutorial but it was sooooooon hard to follow a lot of the steps in the texture part. Texture nodes are really complex for me still, so i wish you had explained a few of the steps a little more detailed. Im currently stuck at around 6:11 and completely overwhelmed.

hi, it would be best if you decrease the density of the distribute points on faces node to a really low number like 0.001. Then if the density looks low you can increase it slowly. This will definitely work.

For whatever reason when texture painting the ground path mask @5:50 i got the inverse result. Instead paint the entire plane except the path white and it should come out fine
Be sure to go about subdividing exactly as shown in this video. He adds 100 cuts, not 100 subdivisions which is a LOT more For reference, 100 cuts would produce 10201 points. 100 subdivisions would produce 1.6*10^60 points which would definitely blow up your computer

You can convert the leaves from curves to mesh by pressing F3 and search Convert Mesh. Then select both trunk and leaves and press Ctrl+J to Combine. Then you can use it however you want.

As I said, I even paid this loser money for his demo scene only to get an empty file. There was no warning that without this paid add-on it would be useless.
