@Visalakshi Mahadevan Shut up commie, free market economy works.
@Visalakshi Mahadevan India needs to reduce dependance on agriculture.
While agriculture is definitely important, other sectors need to be boosted too.
That means we need more metropolitan CLUSTERS.
@Visalakshi Mahadevan we can not grow without secondary and tertiary sector.
When will it be? 2050? 2100? 2200?
Industries were not set up in UP for a long time due to fear of 'Mafias' doing criminal activities here. People had no other option but to go for a govt job (public sector). Public sector also has a limit to generate jobs each year, where population is rising at much higher pace. Some of the factories for railway and defence sector are being set up and will start in a year or so. Roads building at massive scale needs people. Due to lack of employable talent, people from other states are doing jobs there.
Govt also need to promote private sector in non metro, smaller cities and the youth also needs to shift focus from govt to private sector jobs.
Generally, govt jobs are mostly chosen as a permanent solution, because govt can not sack you even if you are not doing your duties proper. But, in private sector the life is much tougher. Every penny they pay they squeeze you for the outcome and job is insecure for non performers.

This problem is not only in india, its a problem in many third world countries. I'm from kenya and the Job crisis is really bad here. The unemployment rate is really high and educated youth cant seem to find employment. Back here, you will find someone with an Economics degree from a decent university selling maize on the side of the road or a person with a masters in biochemistry being a courier on a bike. Its why so many people are so desperate and eager to seek a better life abroad, particularly in Western Countries where Opportunities are plenty. Its very sad when you consider someone put in the hard work to get an education which is supposed to be path to a better life, yet ends up in despair.
@daniiel mlinarics You are right about the corruption and funds for instance that have been loaned out to governments by organization's such as the World bank on projects that could have been used to create jobs that gets squandered. Though that's half the story. Unfortunately, unlike the developed world opportunities are few and far between. They are poor countries after all. Market is saturated with educated people. In places like India and Africa, its not about the government "giving an education" to people. People actually desire to get an education because its the traditional way to a better life. You are told when you are young that if you want a good life, go to school, work hard, go to uni, get a degree and get a good job. This is because poverty is so bad, people are desperate not to get into that. In the UK for example, some guy might not be interested to get an education so he could just chill at home and go on welfare or get a job at Pizza hut for example that needs no qualifications. That job at pizza hut btw pays more than an accountant back in a place like India. I live in a village and it is impossible to get a private job from there because you have to work 12 hours a day in a private company and the salary they pay does not cover the cost!
The number of government jobs is very low, so the competition is very difficult! For example: if there's 4000 vacant posts for a government job, more than 1500000 candidates appear for the exam!
Moreover, it is often heard that jobs are sold with money! Rich people who live in the shadow of politics can afford it! Which is not legal at all! And there's no way anyone can prove it but everyone knows it happens!

well, that's the reason India is not developing at a good pace. India's cream layer of students are applying for jobs abroad cause of the fact that India has reservations in its system. Reservations on the basis of caste is not the solution infact reservation must be on the basis of financial conditions. Remember india is a labour intensive country and thus Indian labour is very cheap. Private company's main objective is profit and it knows there will be someone or other who is desperate enough to work 12 hrs a day for low remuneration. If you can afford it, leave india. Our population growth has slowed down. In fact we are not producing enough babies to replace ourselves.
Thanks!
Thanks to BBC for raising this issue
I am watching this after 1year ,still not having any job😢
🤯follow islam
Even I'm suffering from same situation right now.
First Indian curriculum is not updated 2nd it is not job oriented and elections r important but not important than school exams 3rd govt is not ready to admit international reports of unemployment. This makes things worse. And this show vthe inclination of our past and present govts.
This search of being employed needs to be taken care of at the school life itself. Mindset of compromise with Quality & saying yes to corruption, dowry, nepotism are to be blamed. Besides, lack of atmosphere for development of healthy body & mind.
Heart wrenching,,I have also tried for 1 year,,I realised not my cup of tea,,I working for past 7 years in private ,improved my skills,,and saved quite hefty amount for future,,
Too such competition is there even in private sector due to immense population😢
Charm of govt job is the major issue in UP Bihar and Rajasthan.
U.p needs to grow its population by 5 times ... To solve the employment issue ...
Marrigable age should be decreased to 12 years for both girls and boys ...
Seriously only god can save india
Wow. This is quite painful. Terrible stuff. My heart breaks for them. I really hope this is resolved soon
If there are no jobs then they are not required. Why forcefully create jobs?
Rather it should be encouraged to diversify jobs not just everyone studying medicine, engineering and that’s it.
Clearly you're not from India
Obviously, they want government job not private job.
Even if you give them private job they will prefer preparing for government job
They are not job aspirants, they are Government job aspirants.
India is unique country where people run after govt jobs. In other countries it is the responsibility of employers ( businesses) to hire employees not govt .
IT IS THE PROBLEM OF WHOLE SOUTH ASIA OVERPOPULATION AND LACK OF INDUSTRIES
This is just a video of a day's protest. And BBC is showing it is normal in India. And not even once did the Canadian truck driver protest.
( FIRANGI KBI NHI SUDHRENGE)
Uttar Pradesh is over-hyped for government jobs, only if they start working in the private sector, which has a lot more to offer in the growing economy just like South Indian, uttar Pradesh youth would be in better shape
I agree, India is a unique country where people run after govt jobs. On other countries it is the responsibility of employers ( businessess) to hire employees not govt.
Problem is population. These UP Bihar is producing kids in factory model. 🙏
Sad side portrayed by this press. The whole country is not looking for Govt jobs. It's a peer and social pressure to get to such jobs where one is able to get a primary income and passive income while sitting at the same table.
Why unemployment is high in north indian states?
Much required coverage
Bilkul shai baat👍.. That's the truth😭
First of all why most of them prepare for government jobs only?
Why these people are only trying for government jobs??you should study about new technology instead of wasting time on government exams..
Job Security of organised sector
@@yashsinghal1023 but we can earn more from private jobs..
Societal pressure, job security, private sucks
@@helloworld2054 what??Stupid reason.
One of the issue is also reservation.
This is what happens when u dont have industries these poor people dont have money to get a credible university education so they just try and try hard for little amount of govt jobs which dont require big university degrees
For example for post of 20,000 constables in UP state of india there were 2 million applications
How many jobs can government actually create? No body wants to join private sector because there you need to perform. The conclusion that government needs to create jobs is ludicrous.
I am from West Bengal and me and my friends are all unemployed......
Contact me if you are in delhi
Bhai Amio berojgaar😰
Modi =guarantee of unemployment
Rahul= class one officer😂😂
I have gone through this painful phase for almost 6 years. I prepared hard for Govt exams while working.
Now I am a central govt ministerial officer earning 1 lac+ per month salary. 😊
It's a huge change 🎉
this is not too different from what is happening in Nigeria, Goodluck to every job seekers all around the world
There are plenty of high-paying private-sector jobs in cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad. The only condition is you need skills. Private companies won't hire you just because you memorized (रट्टा मारना) the entire UPSC syllabus and have a degree. Frankly, most of the companies won't even bother what's the percentage of marks you scored.
Whole country Cannot shift to Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Its Regional government's failure
@@a8894tina it depends on individual person. If there is a will, there is a way. Forget about Bengaluru, I've seen many peoples move to foreign countries for a better future. I strongly agree with what you said about the regional part. But again you will gain nothing just by complaining.
@@pdas2209 Complaining? You you pvt sector guys keep talking about "SKILLS".
But you tell me if an IT company has 2 candidates for 1 post, 1 is an CSE Engineer and other is a normal graduate who couldn't get the government job but has learnt the "SKILLS", I still don't think the IT company would hire that graduate. They will go for the engineer only, why would they take the risk?
@@KS-xp1od I think I can answer your question since its relevant to my situation as well. I don't understand why you are referring to the technical jobs only. Jobs are available in both category (Tech and Non tech). If you are from a non tech background then obviously you cannot fulfill the requirement of a tech job role. Don't expect that you will get a high paying job from day 1. You've to build your portfolio.
PS: I'm a normal graduate with no technical knowledge. Started with low salary, gained experience, switched jobs, getting good salary if compare it to average Indian income.
Hello,I completed Engineering this year.I know C,Java,HTML,CSS,Javascript.I am currently learning Reactjs. Will I get a job?I am very stressed right now😰
These students prepare for the Govt. service exams for years....only bunchful of them got the Job...and those who miserably fail...they gain nothing ..no skill at all in those years ..and end up questioning Government and other for their Jobs ..
Yaar at least...gain those relevant skills ..required to bag a Job ...everything is available on UA-cam....
Not Just Jobs But Quality of Jobs 👍
I am most unsuccessful person in my family and cousins
Same 😭😭😭😭😂
That's why you need to beg companies like Foxconn to set up factories. Whatever China offered Foxconn as an incentive, you must match.
My humble request to all those living in UP, Don't again vote BJP and bring them to power. It is not only UP, because of this the whole country will suffer.
BJP the best for UP and for country.. I agree that they should do something about job but law abd order is amazing under yogi govt. No gunda raj and ration scheme is superb..
hindus need to wake up from their fascist ideas
@@fidelcatsro6948 Ain't that any different from fascist ideology in Muslim Pakistan where you got blasphemy laws.
You keep quiet rice bag
So u r advicing them agn to vote fr goonda Raj ?bcme enrepreneurs if u hv degrees ..don't always dream fr gov job boss ..shed some sweat ..don't balways begging frm d gov ..create an oppurtunty fr urself
Not an up almost in all India employment is a big issue that facing every person today. Lack of govt job and private jobs today.
People are losing jobs in UK like anything... explain that BBC 🤣🤣
Man why your media is so concerned about India.
When most of the brits don't even care about India.
Tell them to open there headquarters in delhi. If they care about us so much
@@divya9951 there's already BBC Hindi channel.. I bet you live under a rock or in some cave in uttar pradesh 😹 thank god I'm from Gujarat otherwise I would've also been brainwashed by illiterate UP politicians and goons 😹
