What 50% to 60% income tax rate in india are you talking about? Highest income tax slab rate in india is 30% ( maybe about 33% including surcharge) as compared to 54% in italy as mentioned by you and in india there are some tax exemptions which effectively reduce tax rate further down from 30%. As for GST, the tax rates in India range from 5% to 18% (and 28% in some rare cases) whereas the average VAT rate in Italy is about 22%. But yes, benefits like free medical care & unemployment benefit are some really major benefits in italy. As a father of a frustrated unemployed BTech youth I can relate to a lot of these issues. He is frustrated and lost because he thinks doing a "corporate job" is the only way to start life. Rest is below standard. Competition is obviously too intense. I think he is thinking wrong but he won't listen like most youth. They think elders are fools and out of touch. In my opinion jobs are NOT going to significantly increase in India. The govt cannot do anything much about it. The youth has to be trained to develop an entrepreneur mindset from day 1. Colleges have to encourage and foster small enterprise and maybe even help generate micro loans to get started. Whether it is a shop, a bakery or a plumbing service or youtube broadcasting or ....do your own work and stop depending on JOBS. That is the only way for the youth and country to develop.

I suspect the timing of this video. This issue of unemployment is not new and is prevailing pre-independence era. The main problem is population. population density in india is double that of UK, & the gap is increasing, hence any land parcel will be costlier & costlier in comparison to UK, so saying why Coimbatore is costlier than Manchester suburb, this is the reason, however infrastructure wise any UK hamlet is better than indian cities.

I agree with Akshat. Just imagine the situation in 2047. India's demographic divided would no longer matter and you would have a huge population without any savings and very little corpus to support old age retirement
According to the resources on future world demographics, after peaking in the coming decade or two, Indian population will begin to decline by 2050 just like it is happening everywhere else. Check out the available content on the population collapse by countries.
I would blame the unemployment issue on all the older generation for voting based on caste, religion, and freebies. They should be held accountable for the ignorance for their upcoming generations future. This case is still prevalent.
And I blame unemployment to all the wrong decisions taken by Congress like reservation and curroption done for the 70 years. More population means more consumers for goods and services, which in turn should generate more jobs. Error is in the way economy is planned and organized. That means capable finance ministers and teams working on it.
Population increase should already be accounted for by the government. But the government prefers sleeping on such matters. And when it's high time, it blames the population. @gjw1wj721 In china it was possible because there are no elections in china. In their growth years, govt did not give freebies and people worked hard. Now they are enjoying the fruits of their labor. Govt took land without compensation for industries. No power subsidy either which keeps power cost low. And no archaic labor laws In India, no govt survives without new freebies in each election cycle. Raghuram rajan gave up on the idea that india can be competitive in these aspects. But what he is proposing (i.e. good service sector employment in massive quantities) has no example in the economic history of the whole world and would be very hard to pull off in scale (our leaders could not implement established templates and make the manufacturing sector grow. So what hope do we have that they would pull off something which has no precedent in history and will require them to be extremely innovative) . And let not compare ourselves with china, we were better than china 20 years ago in CS/IT. We are still at the same place, but they grew and are better now. This is so unfair to small business owners who get punished for doing something legal and in fair ways!
Sir aap jaise log politics me nahi jaate , that's why progress is slow, if smart people will not go then automatically corrupt people get the chance 😢.
Some people, or groups of people, are breading like pigs having 16 children per pair. This leads to an increase in population, affecting economic principles. The surplus of labor supply, caused by the growing population, exceeds the demand, resulting in lower salaries and higher unemployment rates.

Hi Akshat Some observations I dont agree with 1. My daughter has just joined ISB and yes, the fees are crazy. North of 40 lakhs. But, I feel that the GST component is fair after all the students are working professionals expected to enhance their careers substantially after passing out. By no stretch of imagination, one can say that they will not be able to pay this fee, loans are easily available, and so are the means to repay those loans. Gst waivers should be at vocational and graduate level courses where the students are just out of school and with little or no source of income. The Govt has to collect taxes. that's the bitter truth, and instead of crying over it all the time, let's push the government to use our tax payers money to better use. 2. Adani and SBI are not comparable. Have you factored in the down the line employment opportunities a group like Adani creates from vendors, suppliers. stockists. sellers, resellers, people working in the supply chain logistics, the raw material manufacturers etc etc. Please dont trivialize these things with such simplistic arguments and reduce them to silly debates. 3. As a country, we need to stop demonizing big corporate houses as the are the back bone of a capitalistic society, whether we like it or not, capitalism is a necessary evil, and so are these big corporations. America was and is still being made on crony capitalism. I'm not trying to condone it. Im just saying we, the educated people, should help reform it rather than treat big industrialists or corporates as some sort of Satans who will eat India and all its resources

They created platforms like wechat, baidu, alibaba that rival google, facebook, amazon who never penetrated the chinese market. So much so that USA can't compete now and tries to ban tiktok
I have been a average student till the time I completed my masters degree. I actually started learning things once I got my first job. Those first two years in job are equal to all my academic life. I started working as a Support rep and now working as a Senior Consultant. Jobs are there if you are willing to learn and upskill. I know someone who is talented but lack the will to simple put in hard work.
One of the Prime reasons is the Reservation System which is forcing best talents to move out the country and the remains who got reservation for with guides to teach in colleges even they are so poorly educated that they are unable to read books. Students laugh and at the same time they get angry on them and this shitty system. They stop going to these colleges. These politicians don't even know what they are creating. Tomorrow, only remaining few percent will be left. Are baba give reservation but that has to REALLY TO ECONOMIC POOR CLASSES not on the basis of caste. Imagine a politician with 100s of crores of black money coming from SC ST OBC or even General EWS. Does his family really need reservation. Public is also mad behind them not understanding what is wrong and what is right.
Reservation system is only in government sector. And there are handful of job in government sector
Reservation is not about the Economic status. it is to uplift the oppressed people of society and it is required till the day we have no discrimination in the society based on caste or religion.
@@MrAkhilisgoodbut the reserved catergory dont have to pay any fees then why is that so 🤨🙂
What about the vast private sector. I mean reservation is only applicable in case of govt sector jobs
Reservation 😂😂
So this is your logic behind unemployment. That's why u need education..
The main problem is government not spending for the welfare of the people in education, health, poor higher education i.e. not job oriented. Taxation system, no business culture, corruption at hight level is ery huge it's not easy to open business many unwanted rule regulations.
Cast system based politics.... No election campaign on development based, freebies competition how can u imagine competition
Excellent video....such clinical analysis....and a compassionate one as well
Humare yaha vada paav wala, bank manager se jyada kamata hai. 5-6 workers uske under kaam karte hai.. Country aage business karne se badhegi, youth jab jobs dega tab kaam hoga. Job mangte hi raho bs, ese youth strong nhi hota.
When ppl say gst killed small businesses… I saw it first hand when I met gst superintend in his office… he had around 200-300 files whose turnover is under 1cr and are facing penalties in the range of 10-30 lakhs because they missed on some compliance… they went bankrupt because of these…. This is so unfair to small business owners who get punished for doing something legal and in fair ways!
Sir aap jaise log politics me nahi jaate , that's why progress is slow, if smart people will not go then automatically corrupt people get the chance 😢.
Niramala Sitharaman, the bane of India's economy. The worst of curses are understatements for her and everyone behind her.
Too Many People In India, That Is The Problem
Yes
Some people, or groups of people, are breading like pigs having 16 children per pair. This leads to an increase in population, affecting economic principles. The surplus of labor supply, caused by the growing population, exceeds the demand, resulting in lower salaries and higher unemployment rates.
Unemployment ka sabse bada reason hai , 2014 k baad se failaya gaya communalism. Bitter truth. Youth ko employment chahiye he nahi. Unko to chauthi pass raja chahiye 😢
150 Crore Population is the Main Problem...
He doesn't know that MBA chaiwala is not actually MBA, 😅 I think ignorance is bliss
What an excellent presentation.....
Mind blowing akshat ji.....
It was just awesome.... ❤❤❤
Nice insights Akshat....all AMC managers telling about India will go up in the ladder but how it is possible without per capita increase & increase in consumption of individuals in all sectors? Also if possible kindly create content related to IT related jobs after AI in coming 20 years like new areas & avenues etc though IT industry continuously evolves..it would be helpful for me like 16 yrs experience Mechanical Engineer turned Construction person at L&T that also resigned as highly under paid flat growth sector with not much to perform except aiding corruption to Govt. clients etc....
Thanks for the critical evaluation without any biass
Strange that in election season he is talking less of investments and more on pointing fingers at India. He gave no solution. How does a jobless guy save and invest.
They are not unemployed youth. They are unemployable youth.
Exactly.👍 All with bookish knowledge, no merit, always looking for shortcuts, wasting 4-6 hours on useless social media and cribbing no jobs.
@@surajkumar-tq6ve That means education system is failing them.
In all developed countries 80% PPL do blue collar jobs. In India there is no min wage hence PPL only want to do white collar, Govn jobs@@surajkumar-tq6ve
There are no opportunities in India. If there were opportunities, why the brilliant minds of India moved abroad??
@@shalinidolai7254basic common sense will tell why ppl go abroad . Bcoz in my case in India I will get 2 lakhs . Same when Iam in US I get 12 lakhs . Not bcoz India don’t have jobs
Thanks for having the guts to talk the truth.
"No interest in joining politics"
Never use that statement. That is the most jinxed statement ever.
Now that you said it, you have no choice :p
Job situation in India is very baf😢😢
Hi Akshat
Some observations I dont agree with
It is very shameful to you to say that you have graduate, PG and PHD but you have enough knowledge to start any business and provide opportunities for employment.
Yeah thankyou sir, great stuff, Thankyou for your time & efforts
you believe in india growth story and high level of educated youths are unemployed this is extremely contradictory
High growth and high unemployment cannot co-exist? Please explain yourself with statistical data
Finally a sensible point from Akshat that is the root cause of all the problems - real estate costs.
thank you Akshat, all students mush watch this. appreciate.
We need more insightful talks like these.
I was adjusting volume in the starting of the video.
After watching your content for over a year, FWIW I have subscribed. I don't agree with many of your views on SMEs and MBAs but your efforts at being realistic amidst the ludicrous hype is appreciated.
One more paid promotion. I don't see anything wrong doing buisness after any degree or PhD. We should support them as they are doing their own rather following 9-5 jobs. Stop projecting wrong perception.
Most practical unbiased video.

He is a strong Modi hater . If every thing is bad why is he living in India ?
Really inspiring video i am really happy to see such impact created and issues being told and potentially some action should be taken.
Very thoughtful ❤
