Hats off to you man and salute to you I drive a cement truck myself been at it for 4 weeks now I’m still learning about the slump but I’m loving it so far
Luv the videos moe I'm scheduled to be working for ready mix in another week was doing OTR few months ago my plan in a year or two is to go into hazmat because I have the endorsement do companies count cement trucks as experience ???
RebelSoul yea they're front end mixers but they can still hold 11yds. I've been on a job when a driver let air get in the pump, it exploded on him and blew the hose, luckily I just moved because it exploded right where I was standing I would of went 2 the hospital it trashed the next house SMH it was bad
Awesome video ..I'm a pump operator, unfortunately most of the drivers i get will back up to my pump at an angle , so they can sit in their truck and unload from their cab .. most dont even stop my pump when they are out ..they just pull off..
i only haul bulk powder to plants.... the skill for driving the truck in very hard conditions, knowing the slump, and putting up with crabby people... not a very easy job to do... ty for sharing
I have had so many trainees blow up a pump. When i see they not listening i just step away and let them see what that life bout. It blows up on them and they gotta clean my truck. I betcha they dont let another hopper get low again.
Hey what's good Moe, been a Class B for almost 2 years and looking into being a mix driver. Now I'm a thin dude but have done some heavy work before and started lifting lately. Is this a physical demanding job? Just wondering.
@@readymixmoe6088 thanks for the respond Moe.. sweet, then tomorrow morning heading over for an application 👍 funny going as a bus driver back into the construction field.. miss it haha thanks again and keep good with those videos
By law as drivers we not aloud to work longer than a 14 hour day and have to show a ten hour break between work days ... but some days we get really busy and I guess that's how the concrete business is around the world lol.
Were doing overnight jobs minimum of 1000-1400yds.. last week we did 1200 first night 800 next 4 and 1350 on different job the next night.. daylight usually runs 800yds on average 6 days a week, gotta love the paychecks coming in!!
Fill that pump baby. But don't ever ever let the pump operator run you out of water or tell you they want a 7in slump... Always ask the contractor yourself what type slump they want because the pump operator will try to get you to pour it piss wet.
You would of loved it 2day, a light 90+ out the boom pump💪💪... I gotta get me a GoPro so I can do Concrete pouring videos LOL last truck we pour a 3-4in slump out the truck that good old GO HOME MUD, finished loaded trucks up n left right B4 the rain
Readymix Moe hard 2 pull Concrete and skreed or use a come along, I'm thinking bout having our boss record for me, I wanna get the GoPro still so people can get a 1st hand view, I got some concrete videos on my page, and I got a newer 1 of me teaching my son how 2 run the trowel machine 💪💪
Damn. Nice and wet. Good ol 8.5/9 /E You just said they want a 6 but it dried to a 5... Bruh... That's straight dirty water. You're wet as all hell. Easily a 9. I can't even imagine what you think a 6 is.

You been a big help iv been on the job 2 weeks now they think iv done this before thanks for the video's...

Good job Moe! Can you do a video on how a pump site should be ready before the truck shows up, for a garage floor for example. Thanks.

Been at it for 3months and these contractors are always in a hurry gets me frustrated, rush brings errors .......but I walk to my own music
Reuben Diaz that's how I handle it. At my pace.
Lol a concrete man can always hear them rocks Rollin, I've noticed depending on the truck they can have between a yard-2yards when they start rattling
Bosco Da Pro you right we can always hear it lol
In my front discharge mixer I normally start rattling when I got about 3 yards left. Lol
With an 11 yard drum
RebelSoul yea we use MashMyer and have 11yd trucks

Ready mix Moe we love your videos .If you ever out in Phoenix,Arizona we got plenty of work for you lol peace
What up Moe, new sub and 30 year mixer operator. Dont let him pop it all over that clean Rig.
Its always a wonderful day when you have pump jobs. No extra chutes to wash out.
Do a tour of your new truck
how do you know how much water you are putting? How can I know that the concrete needs water?
I’m still in training but it looks like the pump jobs are the sweetest ones right? No chutes or driving and way less cleaning
Yep easy money
Good job
Slumps kicking my tail but I’m getting it
You in a manual or automatic vehicle?
Awesome video ..I'm a pump operator, unfortunately most of the drivers i get will back up to my pump at an angle , so they can sit in their truck and unload from their cab .. most dont even stop my pump when they are out ..they just pull off..
Smh I try and make things as easy for both of us as possible.
I have seen the aftermath of a driver not keeping it filled, what a mess
Bosco Da Pro right
i only haul bulk powder to plants.... the skill for driving the truck in very hard conditions, knowing the slump, and putting up with crabby people... not a very easy job to do... ty for sharing
Why does the front end shoot truck only has one seat in the truck?
Man I dont know I guess the way its built.
Readymix Moe Thanks for answering all of my questions today
I have had so many trainees blow up a pump. When i see they not listening i just step away and let them see what that life bout. It blows up on them and they gotta clean my truck. I betcha they dont let another hopper get low again.
