@@rodm2345 I couldn't get hired on due to my out of state licenses and with Covid going on it was almost impossible to switch my CDL over into California... but the pay rate if thats the information you're looking for was $20 an hour I hope this helps
@@805Dak Damn that sucks.... I'm really looking for information on what the job is like. They finally have a few openings near my house. I know they pay well and are union but that's about it
and now california has required 5 days sick pay per year ,up 2 days from the previous 3 ....so what cemex has done is take away 2 days vacation pay from each driver and add it to sick pay to comply
Don't let these couple of staged smiling faces fool you !They are so nice and everyone is happy. Once you are hired it all changes ,you are worked like a dog 60-70-80 hours a week .Sure it sounds good until it goes on for months and years ,You get tired of hearing 'you need to take one more load ' Your health and your family mean nothing to any of them .Also, harassment is out of control ! There are so many rules in the name of safety you can not possibly comply. Drivecam in trucks (talk about big brother )put in to help you ? All they are used for is to compile a file against you so you feel they can fire you any time ! Sixty percent turn over rate the first 3 years ,that should tell you something .Unhappy drivers .Sure we all need a job ,talk to another driver employee before you hire on here and hear the truth. why do you think so many of their videos have "comments turned off " .
Yes you will regret it . Good luck on understanding your paycheck it DOESN'T ADD UP how you get paid by the load but on your check you get paid by the hour
Became part of the family as of 12/12/22 in San Antonio Texas
In Houston CEMEX paid by the load and you don't get enough loads to get a good pay check . Is better getting paid by the hour . Don't waist your time
Just got hired on here in california they pay by the hour here
@@805Dak What's going on? Are you still at cemex? I'm in California too and looking to apply.
