One of the biggest mistakes I often see patients make is taking a linear approach to health, focusing most of their energy just on exercise, for example, but leaving everything else by the wayside. We can’t optimize health if we’re only supporting one part of it. And optimizing our health through what we put at the end of our fork is the lowest-hanging fruit to achieve all our other health goals.
In this video, my guests and I dive into topics including insulin resistance, nutritional deficiencies, gut health, and much more. We also talk about what you can start doing to get healthier today.

Sugar, too much sugar causes the blood capillaries to dilate, which lets blood proteins escape into the interstitial space. Every disease looks like this at the cell level. Too much caffeine does the same thing. So does anger, loss of temper, holding grudges, resentment. Dr C Samuel West, a prominent lymphology professor, my lymphology professor, wrote a book about this called, The Golden Seven Plus One. You can use some sugar. I recommend muscle testing to see how much if any of a substance to consume. You can muscle test yourself. There are free training videos available. Blessings.

I’ll add that reframing one’s perspective of sugar is powerful and makes questions about quantity moot. I consider all sugars other than fruit, starchy vegetables, honey, etc to be precursors to cancer. Or at the very least a recipe for very poor metabolic when consumed on a regular basis. So I allow myself a rich treat 1-2 times a month. Otherwise I do my best to avoid processed sugars. I’ll eat fruit and starchy veggies once a day instead.

Stomach acid kills bacterias but most of them probably were even dead before taking. It is better to feed good bacterias in gut than trying to get new from outside. Ripe fruit diet can cure eczema and other diseases. You can check more info from Dr. Robert Morse’s channel. Also you can search for wim hof method, it also alkalize the body for few period of time.

Not all bacteria dies. Stomach acid is strong but with food, bacteria does get through. If stomach acid were strong enough to kill deadly bacteria, people wouldnt get bacterial infections in organs below the stomach. But they do, good and bad bacteria. Probiotic foods do help, the science says probiotic supplements dont work and thats because of packaging, not that consuming bacteria doesnt have an effect on the body.

If she had underlying SIBO, probiotics can make it worse until the underlying issue is corrected. Also probiotics alone doesn't fix everything if you are eating things that aren't good for your genes, including some 'healthy' foods. Like nightshade veggies for example. People with eczema need an elimination diet to determine major triggers and give the immune system a rest. Also may need parasites, fungal infection, or heavy metals addressed. Many things in mother are in baby too. Functional Dr consult can walk you through it all. 😊

It is the table sugar that causes the most severe problem and it is found in sodas and all ultraprocessed food Definitely get rid of it from your diet. Note that table sugar is a combination of two molecules glucose and fructose . Dr. Robert Lustig explains the dangers of fructose. The sugar in starchy veggies like sweet potatoes is starch which consists of glucose molecules strung together. Excessive starchy veggies can also be problematic. In moderation they are ok depending on your individual metabolism.

Everything is going to hell in a handbasket. Buy yourself some Shiba Inu Bitcoin. So you have some money that's not in the dollar if and when the dollar is devalued...

Why do you have such dark circles under your eyes, Dr. Hyman? That's not so good... :-(

Reportedly he has gone through a divorce but don't know how long ago that was. Also, reportedly, had back surgery and maybe still healing. Life still happens. Maybe it is genetic. Still looks healthy and content.

Like most people who are passionate in this field, he has had his own health issues. He has stated that his genetics are really bad at clearing toxins. The fact that he is so alert and has worked hard and is mega successful speaks volumes for this lifestyle

Sorry, that Dr.Hyman looks so old an ill himself! He is the worst advertisment for his own advises! Yes, I believe in pre-diabetes etc. but not that only vegetarians get to an healthy life. Look at the people who eat low carb or keto: they look much healthier. And after my own experiences: if you had already insulin-resistance, go vegetarian does not solve the issue if you eat rice and potatoes any further! I do not like how Hyman puts it down!

@@leekflower1 He was long time the advocate of a vegetarian and even vegan diet!! He wrote ".. a vegan and
vegetarian diet is the perfect match for your philosophical, spiritual, religious,
palate"...and he often told about that nothing can compare to it. He informed false in regard to the modern plant based (!!) keto-diet. He told his audience, that keto now a days only means "eat meats and unhealthy fats". That is pure nonsense. Such a "Shifter" or "turning neck" is in my opinion not trustworthy or competent, he is only manipulative. He has not the spine to tell his audience, in which chapters he was wrong about, that he was unwell informed and wrong about facts. And unfortuately there are some people out there missing the research on him. If you follow him some years you can see his shifting and advocating quite good. Look close!
