This is exactly how I imagine Ogrim sounds.
This is especially added to by how passionate the singing is. Darby is practically _screaming_ these lyrics sometimes. Every time he sings “ *FARFUNDA!!!!!* HEAR THE CRY OF THE SHIELD OF THE KIIIIING!” i can feel the energy behind it.

This was honestly one of my favorite fights in the game. Not only does it seem like Ogrimm is having fun with the fight (which is emphasized even more in this song), but it’s also pretty fun to parry his attacks while he’s bouncing around. It’s almost like hitting a beach ball.

@@xxuukk9054 Not trying to be antagonistic, but genuinely curious: Wasn't the hollow knight himself a "soul of void, shell of white" too? I mean he became infected because he had some semblance of a soul evidently but he's still a void being, right?
If I'm wrong though, I really like the idea that Dung Defender does in fact figure out during the fight that 'hey maybe he's not infected' but fights anyways because he also reasons 'hey this is fun!'

Best Hollow Knight boss, hands down. He is an amazing character, and his boss fight is challenging while still being incredibly fun, unlike the GODDAMN SOUL MASTER. I still hate the soul master because I can’t reliably beat him.

2:26 without a doubt, in my opinion, is the greatest line(s) in this entire song.
The Dung Defender/White Defender is one of my favorite arcs in the entire game. My first time encountering him had be grinning from start to end, and my last time with him had me in tears. So loyal! And very tragic...This song encapsulates him so well.
I was afraid this would be a joke/meme song, but I was very happy to see it simply fun and legitimate.

I loved Ogrim the Dung Defender, he was my absolute favorite boss in Hollow Knight. His personality and way of fighting was so amazing. And this song add more reasons why Orgim has a special place in my heart within the Hollow Knight.

This is so lively and energetic! Totally fitting for the character. Love how you implemented his battle cries! I sort of wish "White Defender" was added here, like how "Nightmare King" was added to the Grimm song, even though it's still amazing.

I REALLY like how you translated Ogrim's character.One moment he signs about defending his home,and then happily signs "Doma Doma Doma!". It's a perfect copy of Ogrim in game,both brave knight and your best friend.
His charm turned out to be pretty useful against the enemies that spawn during the broken vessel fight
This song is amazing!! Dung defender is such an amazing character and these lyrics perfectly fit both the song itself and Ogrim as a character, his bond with the vessel in connection to the pale king and this sort of brotherly connection that he develops with the vessel. Everything about it is just so passionate and energetic, perfectly showing Ogrim’s bright and bubbly personality, I also really love the addition of all of his little voice lines in the song, especially having the “Farfunda!!!” And “Doma Doma Doma” being in the lyrics.
I’d be really interested to see a lyric version of White Defender’s theme, since you could really go into Ogrim’s naivety and isolation since he doesn’t even know that the king is dead and the majority of the knights are gone. All of the White Defender dialogue is super sad and I’d love to hear how that’d be interpreted with your awesome lyrical work ✨☺️✨

I went to the Royal Waterways last because I was grossed out by the Flukes so I was absolutely overpowered against Dung Defender. Then I fought White Defender all 5 times and got put in my place.

A pure vessel or hollow knight lyric video would be amazing, the amount of lore on him is insane! He faked being pure, hollow, just to get appreciation from the pale king, he just wanted someone who cared about him, yet in his selfishness (I guess its selfish but I don't mean to sound like I have no heart), he doomed hallownest by not being pure, taking the infection yet not strong enough to hold it, this caused the infection to escape and ultimately ended hallownest's rule. He just wanted to be loved, but unless he was pure he couldn't, so he faked it. Fighting the person he wanted to become and even at the ending stabbing himself either because he wanted to get rid of the pain of the infection, or to help us our character take it in, depending on what you think, as after he stabs himself its not him fighting, its all infection attacks, it shows he doesn't want to fight us anymore, wants to help us. I would just love there to be lyrics for this, and having time spent on it like how grimm's was. It would just be perfect. Thanks for reading all this, I may repeat myself but I'm not proof reading this and I just write exactly what I'm thinking.
