Great video and music as always. Loved the dog also. You get lots of extra credit for the text you overlaid, to help explain the story of what it is to be a good welder. Very well done.
Gus, great video and love the Tx.about keeping a great attitude and doing what it takes to stay working. Retired now, but did whatever I needed to to stay working for over 44 years. Word of caution, dogs tend to stare at welding and get there eyes burnt just like we do sometimes. Had a dog forty years ago go blind from it. Won't let any of my dogs be around when I'm welding, even outside. Take care
Thanks for the advice Michael.. Dante (my dog) is actually at home all the time.. When I bring him to work, it's because my family is out of town or something like that.. My thoughts on if a dog will watch the welding light.. I think they will see it for a second, and they will avoid seeing it because is so bright, you will never see an animal staring at the sun for more than a second and that because it hurts there eyes.. I think it is the same thing with the welding light.. Thank you so much for the advice and I'll keep Dante away from that welding light anyway 😉
Thanks for sharing. How do you keep your level and torch mounted under your lids? Maybe you can do a video on your toolbox with your tool setup. Thank you Gus
Before I painted the bed, I weld some little mounts to hold the torch and the squares you see, they are just with magnets 🧲 The levels are in the tool box.. later on I will do a video of my set up 😉
Dante will be fine man.. You know it's what really worries me when I bring him to work? Grinding and wire brushing next to him..I'll just put him inside the truck or otherwise ill always stand between the grinder and Dante blocking everything.. Thanks for watching the video and for talking the time to comment your thoughts
Excellent video, and I love your work ethic! The text was a great addition! Although retired, I never tire of hearing that SA200 throttle up!
