My wife sent me the link to this video. Absolutely stunning Travis! Your attention to detail is exceptional. Your videography(sp) skills are top notch! After watching, I went back and watched part 1. Planning ahead is everything. I am now subscribed and looking forward to more videos. I hope your channel blows up to an amazing amount of subscribers! I can't believe there is less than 1k at the moment.
Excuse me while I pick up my jaw from the floor. This is absolutely stunning. A work of art that is also functional and enriching for your snake. I stumbled upon this video, and smashing the subscribe button!
That is honestly one of the most architecturally jaw-dropping, heart-throbbing, painfully beautiful builds I've ever seen if only for the functionality alone. I am so impressed. Well done.
I never comment on any videos I watch and I’ve been watching these types of videos for years and I have to say that you did an incredible job in this build!
this video is incredibly underrated I didn’t look at the views but assumed it was probably around one million. Production quality is amazing & I loveeeee your snakes!!!!!
i vote this build as the best all-around production in the world of enclosures. everything from the editing to the tech in the walls to the composition to the choice of snake and everything else is just so top shelf man. bravo. def subbed.
First time coming across your channel, and I have to say this is an exceptional build! I love your attention to detail, and how descriptive you are about the whole process. What a lucky rainbow boa!
It’s going well! There were some challenges but everything is a learning process. Lola loves it though, and she does swim occasionally at night. Been working on an update video for a while, I keep chipping away at it whenever I get the chance. Hope to get it out asap
I don't know how you don't have more subs and likes, because the way you built and edit is amazing, absolutely love it😍🌱🐍 You've gained a new subscriber here, you and SerpaDesign are on point with your builds and videos 😎✌️
Exceptional video, man! Your editing and build are out of this world. I'm surprised you don't have more views. Just keep up the good work and I'm sure it'll pay off (it already has for your boa). I got a Columbian Rainbow Boa earlier this year. Your vid is definitely giving me inspiration for when he moves into his next enclosure. subbed
This is seriously awesome work! From the build itself to the editing quality, you’ve really some talent and good stuff. Seems like a very happy snake! Looking forward to see what you have next!
Your build videos helped me tremendously as I built my first paludarium last fall for my BRB. She's getting bigger and my thoughts are on a forever home for when she's a full size. I'd love to hear your thoughts on what you've learned from this build! Any plans for a follow up video? Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
This is such an amazing enclosure! I’m looking to get a rainbow boa myself with an enclosure just like this with a waterfall and pond for it to drink from and relax in. How do you clean the enclosure when the snake produces urate? How do you replace substrate with all those plants?
Honestly my clean up crew does a pretty decent job, and I just spot clean when I need to. And I rarely need to replace substrate, I’ll probably add some in a couple months though
re watching some of your older vids. if you plan to get enymore snakes i hightly suggest PVC ENCLOSURES!!! dubia has some with nice deals there 4x2x2's are 250$ atm!! id just go for the adult enclosure outright XD
I’ve considered PVC a few times and may do one in the future, but for the sake of this project, glass worked better for me. Can’t argue with $250 though!
Hey man! Fantastic video. Your editing is amazing and the build is gorgeous! I really appreciate how you put all of this in one video, but the way you've done this I 100% would've watched a bunch of different parts. Keep up the good work!!!
Absolutely beautiful! But I’m concerned how do you maintain the temperature in there to required temps needed for the BRB? Heat mat? Or heating coils in the actual habitat?
So Brb’s actually don’t need as much of a hot spot as other snakes! But that being said, I have heat lamps! And one trick with these larger spaces is to put a lamp over a ledge/perch so they can get closer to the heat if/when needed. I have an additional smaller wattage lamp above the tree perch
This build is absolutely insane! I’m planning on getting a rainbow boa at some point and I’m looking into the misters/foggers. Would you recommend one of the two over the other or both? This will be used in a regular setup, not bio active or waterfalls
@@NateFFishing thanks! And I’d recommend misters with a fine mist first, and only foggers supplementally And if not going bio active, just watch out for mold with all the humidity the BRB’s require
@@JustTravis_trj thank you, i love the idea and look of the bio active more, just have no experience with it. I may do my research and go bio active instead when the time comes. I’ve heard it’s more work initially but is easier and cheaper in the long run
BRB’s don’t need a ton of heat, so the double heat is enough, but I do have a smaller lamp over the tree branch perch that gets her a little close to it
@@JustTravis_trj Ok my girl requires a variant of 70 degrees to 90 degrees (basking), i suppose I could install a ceramic heat panel or ceramic heat emitters up top? Do you have any recommendations?

Yeah I had a lot of trouble finding this one. This is Repti-zoo and I could only find this size on Wayfair oddly But there seems to be an identical one by Carolina Custom Cages on Amazon (maybe same supplier), that one is a bit more expensive though
I am curious as I would really like a paludarium with fish for either my boa or my crestie. But, how important is water pH levels for the reptile since it will probably drink from it? Is it ok to keep fish that need pH 8-9?
I would stick to water parameters and fish species close to what’s found in the inhabitant’s natural environment. My water is fairly neutral and heated for the tropical fish found in small rivers similar to where you’d find a rainbow boa
@@ChiChisWorld I had the same concern! But the plants and filter system take care of it until i can get to it with a gravel vacuum. Doesn’t happen often but fish have been unaffected
@@JustTravis_trj that makes sense. I was at pet supermarket looking for a redtail the other day and they had a Brazilian rainbow boa. It’s beauty just kinda grabbed me so now that’s what I’ve been looking at. Searching for more info on how to keep one.
@@davidschmutz3804 nice! And yeah, lots of humidity (especially important when young) not as high of temperatures, and they are beautiful but hide often so not particularly display snakes. Great temperament, great feeding response. Maybe I should make a video specifically about them 🤔
