I don’t do this often but the transitions in this video and editing is top tier, came for the bio active stuff and stayed for the editing haha. Keep doing what you do best!
Love this! What I used to make my substrate barrier higher is use a clear-cutting board from the dollar store ( super flexible but could probably use a hard 1 too). I just cut it to what size I wanted and put it on top of the drainage layer and screen and used the soil to keep in place. You probably could silicone it too but I didn't bc I was only doing this for a crestie. So far it's been doing great with no issues Thanks again for sharing. Have a great day.
Least I now know I'm not the only one that buys absolutely "everything" I could ever possibly need for a new build. Never thought of using the bath to store it all in, nice one. 😆
@@AlbertoMartinez-ig7zu so it’s got a filtering system in there. I’ll spot siphon any messes out as needed, but otherwise I’ll just clean out the filter every so often (the moss and plants help remove any nitrates as well)
The build and waterfall are are both still going strong, 2 years in! The waterfall has a filter on it that I have to clean out every so often, but mostly I don’t need to do much maintenance on it.
I did not for time’s sake. But it was just a regular plastic hide, I coated it with the Great Stuff expanding foam, let dry. Carved. Coated in 100% silicone, then pressed in the coco fiber from the background
Lol did you say a retic was a "medium-ish" snake😂. Its only one of the top 3 largest species in the world. Even the super dwarfs can exceed 10ft. Given this video is a year old, whatever snake you got already outgrew this tank, which is a shame because it seemed like a lot of work. Or do you not keep large snakes long term? Whats the plan for the next setup if you keep them? Do you have any adult giants already?
So I went to the website and they don't have any pricing on any of the enclosures. So I have to wait for an email to get a price for an enclosure, that's pretty ridiculous in my opinion
Yeah that’s not good. Try their Amazon page, that’s where I got mine. They have a few different options. www.amazon.com/stores/REPTIZOO/%E4%B8%BB%E9%A1%B5/page/CDFAA293-2641-483F-927F-618F00CD2E57
Enjoy your vids I built a bioactive and put in foamboard in a water feature. The foamboard slowly got saturated and leaked. If I build again I'd go with PVC enclosure for your brazilian. Can drill through with no cracking issues and waterproof
For sure. This isn’t foe the Brazilian, but I’d definitely do it a bit differently next time. The liner has worked for the water feature so far, so I’m not completely reliant upon the foam.

this is a brilliant setup that gave me so many ideas and i learned tons! the editing was also great and super engaging, thank you!
Very well done editing and the vivarium looks awesome
Omg it’s finally here! Your vids have such an amazing quality and thats not even to mention the beauty of your creations! Keep on building!
This just made my day 🥰
Amazing so inspiring I’m gonna do the same for my boa!
How do you keep the water clean??? Do you habe to change it? Do you have isopods specifically for water?

Bruh your videos deserve so many more views! Your quality of content is incredible!
How does this not have more likes? This thing is beautiful
this is exactly the kind of bioactive viv i have been looking for to build! Thanks for sharing!
Of course!
@@JustTravis_trj is that petrified bark? the grey bark used in your fall itself
@@Red8675309666 the waterfall is made of gray Seiryu Stone, it’s my favorite.
What size tank do you have?
This one is around 65 gallons
36” wide, 18 tall, 24 deep
So is your waterfall cycled or do you have to change the water out every other day?

I’m so excited! Love your vivs
Thank you! This video was quite the project haha
Amazing beautiful friend
I suggest everyone resilicone over the existing seams on new tanks. My exo terra didn't start leaking until a week after I had it set up already.
Absolutely 💯
If yer on a waiting list, I'd say super dwarf retic 🤘y'all have a badass day🤘🍻🤘
That’s what I ended up going with!
Posted my unboxing experience if you’re curious
Why not use a plastic container for the water , ... it made no sense to glue little pieces to build a water bowl....
I’ve been looking forward to this
Super duper!! Love your stuff man
I wish you went more into detail like you older vid.
Maybe I just missed it in the video, but where is the tank from?
This one is from Repti Zoo.
I’ve actually really enjoyed their product quality compared to the other bigger brands out there.
@@JustTravis_trj thank u sm! they look great
