Love it!!! My favorite cars!!! I had an ‘07 with a 4.0, auto, which I built up to about 325RHP! Full BBK everything: Headers, cat-back, throttle body and spacer, cold air kit, and full tune, full synthetic fluids front to rear, loved that car!!!
@@Stinger_Salvage it was! Had to get rid of her though, started rusting out above the rear wheel well, and the front end needed lots of work! But I’m a big mustang fan, I have every hot wheels ever made for the mustangs! Plus a mustang tattoo on my forearm!!!
i wonder how easy it would be to do this to an sn95 platform. i think the cyclone and coyote have the same mounting points so id probably need a new k member. also side not i have a bunch of mustang related playlists on my channel. if youre looking for an exhaust for this swapped mustang you can find an entire playlist with the best sounding v6 mustangs on youtube.
@@BlacknRedSN95 thanks. I’ll check out your playlists. I have thought about this swap in other platforms. I am currently looking for a Mustang II to do the swap into.
What size tire did you put on your Mustang? I have a 2005, that I just purchased and the tires seem too small. Also, it seems to sit up too high in the back. Any advice for me?
A 3.7 swap on a s197 feels pointless. Just buy a 2011-2014 V6. Or a 05-09 GT. Now if you swapped it into a Sn95 or a foxbody that would be pretty cool.
@@FlowmasterStang so it would make sense if you understand I had the 07 with a blown 4.0 V6 already. It was a good body. I agree I could just buy a 2011 or newer but I wanted to save my 07.
@@Fordtruckfan89 well, it was fine until the balancer separated and the replacement one failed. When the replacement balancer failed it took out the timing chain which with an interference engine wiped out all the valves. A couple of the valves also broke off and went thru the pistons. There was basically nothing left of the 4.0 to fix. The 3.7 has more HP and weighs less so it was a huge improvement over the 4.0
That’s so cool brother! 🔥
thanks a bunch!
I did it before for my 2008 mustang this is the best way great job brother
@@johnar8179 thanks. You did this in a 2008?
That hood with the fender trim looks awesome!! 🤩 Beautiful car

@@NathanaelNaused thanks!!!
Super interested in this! It seems 3.7 engines are cheap and so are mustangs that came with 4.0....
@@baldmechanic7415 yes. S197’s in general are getting pretty cheap.
Very unique

Awesome stuff. The Cyclone is such a great engine. AutoMafia has several in the 600+hp range.
yeah, I am seriously considering one of their rear mount turbo kits!
@@Stinger_Salvage The rear mount kits like to shoot oil out of the turbo. I would avoid anything made by that company.

You obviously didn’t watch the video. Or you just didn’t grasp the whole thing. Either way I won’t bother to try to explain it.

@@Stinger_SalvageSounds like the 4.0 was fine minus a balancer. Super common for them to separate.
