I actually like the atmosphere here less than the Unabandoned version. The music is a banger but the palpable silence in the grey and broken worlds was powerful atmosphere, and Star Road's theme and aesthetic was much more soothing for the end of such a long journey
Very happy official 1.0 is now released, been waiting for a while. Felt like it'd never happen because of all of the drama, but this feels very bittersweet to be able to play now.
How can i patch the game (when i tried to patch the game it doesn't work, but when i tried it with the unanbanoded and the abandoned version it work, idk how to do it)
this ending sucks ass tbh like how is it an ending if you can just warp back at a whim? how is it an ending if the ai is still around and fucking with shit? imo the true ending should go like this: put the eternal fort at the end instead of star road (with the first eternal fort you go through would just be the beta version), then complete the course, maybe have an 8 red coin star, and fight bowser (give him actual dialogue), then once bowser is defeated with like 6 bomb throws, have mario somehow reach the core and destroy it. the game crashes, you boot it back up, and it's just a vanilla copy of sm64 (or a standard beta recreation). the nightmare is finally over.
I think you didn’t get the meaning of the ending. There is no ending, you’re trapped inside the castle walls, remember ? The AI has never been defeated, Bowser and the Princess are just illusions made by the AI, there aren’t real, nothing is real. There never was an ending, and there never will, because Nintendo’s fun is eternal.
Not exactly sure how to do it but you can play it on mobile, I've heard a lot of people recommend ParaLLEl specifically for this game on mobile, but I'm not 100% positive as I haven't tested it myself. There's two things you'll wanna look for if you wanna play it though, one, if the emulator supports using the Internal Clock, and two, if it supports ROMs that go over the 64MB limit. Usually those two things are what cause 0.9 and up to not work on other emulators. I've seen someone run Unabandoned on Mupen Android on UA-cam before, so it should be possible. Hope you can get it working man, good luck.
@@Kandah Which one given i recall the internal fort had two different variations apparently with one them being from the previous 0.7 version that and I’m also wonder if both versions still take you to the ending as normal.
Nah, he ruined the ending. Like the other comment said, seeing the destroyed Plexus with nothing but the sound of nature was great atmosphere. The music totally ruins it.
I made another video on the peach cutscene castle watch if you want

I wish the broken castle grounds was silent, but the new star road works as a unhappy tone considering the game’s lore
too bad, bc i disagree
Chris, you had a mental breakdown over the release of 0.9
You are a power hoarder, and this will be the only thing you'll be remembered for
@@bobtime8269 you’re right: none of the drama will be remembered

Tbh star road was one of my favorite mips hole stage ideas, so its nice tohave it here

What has Star Road become man...
The monochrome grounds and castle were cool, I loved the music, kinda adds to it, but Star Road looks like nothing now

@BlizzyP039 why are you lying

Parallel Launcher worked well for me, so long as you have a vanilla copy of SM64 detected within as well.
Oh, they added music to that area

I used Parallel Launcher

it's not console compatible currently

So much this.
At least if the music was either different or more on topic with the end of all the mindfuck that is the romhack,it'd be a 10/10.
