I picked up "The Magician" on spec in a video store just after it came out and was blown away by Scott Ryan's all round genius talent. So glad he & Nash Edgerton teamed up and made 'The Magician's' Magic live on in "Mr Inbetween".
Yeah that was pretty cool to watch too. The only thing I didn't like was that weird guy who was filming him. Kept asking stupid questions like "Ray have you ever been to the Gay Mardi Gras?" and then insisting he sleep in the same bed as Ray without any underwear on. I'm surprised Ray didn't kill him first.
Love the scenes with his brother?, so emotional, great actors. Watch out Hollywood youve got some major competition, it's more real than anything you've got currently.
Brilliant show loved every minute of it. But there are a few questions I have about some things that happened and since Ray "doesn't answer questions", I'm hoping someone else who watched it can answer the questions I have. 1) what did he do to the guy who conned old Bobby (his friend who owned the gym) into some bad investment? I saw a jar of acid but what did he do with it to the guy? I know he hanged him at the end of the confrontation, but how did he use the acid on this guy? And 2) why did Rafael ( the guy he worked for and loved caviar), why did he want to kill Ray?
1) Ray only used the acid to scare the guy into talking, he never actually used it on him 2) My guess would be that Rafael expected revenge from Ray after what happened when they crashed in the desert and he also probably wanted to tie the loose ends of their drug operation.
Somebody disliked this. Well move on little girl, I'm sure the disliker is making better shows. No ones heard of them but them being a key board warrior makes them really important 🤣🤣🤣🤣😎
One of the best shows ever made in Australia, or anywhere.
