Anjushree Verma so basically, Jack is the main character, so she says that he's first on the call list, like the main, so he's not going anywhere. And Milo says, he's sure Ned Stark was too, because in Game of Thrones Ned Stark was the main character and he gets killed off in the first season.

Canadians also had this sort of lumberjack stereotype/style for awhile so that kind of goes with it. Just generally popular out west and back in the day everywhere across Canada.

Everyone who doesn't know whether to watch this show - DO IT. I watched after a year of blowing it off as a cheesy drama but it's literally the most EARNEST, WELL-WRITTEN, PROVOCATIVE, relatable drama with SUPERB ACTING that leaves you teary each episode..I'm glad I'm not too jaded or cynical to love this show. It destroyed me in the best way possible and helped me reflect on my family life. A TRUE GEM.

My Dad passed away when I was 12 in 2000. He was 48. Coincidentally his name was Kevin. I love watching Jack because I swear his character looks JUST like my Dad did. The hair, the mustache, the clothes. I remember as a kid my Dad would kiss me on the forehead and his outdated mustache would tickle me. My dad was also a recovering alcoholic. I didnt get to know him too well so I feel like when I watch this show the visual of Jack just brings him closer to me.
Love them! Great chemistry together and they're all fun and genuinely sweet! P.S: Cant believe Milo and Justin are alredy in their 40s! wow! They look both very good for their age and so handsome! Mandy is also more beautiful than ever!

I just started binge watching this show three days ago. I'm almost done with season one. And I have to say that I remember when Mandy Moore first hit the pop charts back in the 90's and never really gave it a second thought about her until I started watching, This Is Us... She is absolutely beautiful! I think I'm in love with Chrissy Metz! And Milo and Justin are two very good looking guys and great actors...
