Wonderful video😮 deeply funny , disturbing , but terribly terribly sad , man's struggle between what he is and what he aspires to be ,those glimpse of nobility , righteousness coupled with pain suffering and an ignominious end , well done Sir a wonderful video
They could have made it...but there was too much going on in his mind....his daughter, that sweet girl he was with, all of his pain that he couldn't work out...but he always stood by his daughter and whatever else he believed in and for at the time....❤❤
Scott Ryan (Ray Shoesmith) was also the Mr Inbetween story creator and wrote all 26 episodes. Why is he not currently writing the next best thing for TV?
Helen Mirren had her agent sign him and Tarantino and Bruckheimer are both interested in producing whatever he does next - reportedly a movie according to the Sydney Herald "a road trip-serial killer-bank heist tale provisionally titled 'Everybody Dies" I'd love to see a Gary spin off too personally- Justin Rosniak killed that role and that character could have all kinds of adventures
There is a kernel of truth to that sentiment. The flip side though, is also having the creative foresight to know when a story arc is complete. Which is what makes it so endearing, potent, and memorable. And that, I think is one of the hallmarks of creative genius.
Ray had a warped view of right and wrong. And his upbringing made him base every response upon fear and physical strength. I often felt sincerely sorry for him as his story unfolded.
We are all Ray shoe Smith, we just got let him out more, and straighten up this crazy world we all inhabit, he is everybody's hero, being the man we all want to be! Putting bad people where they belong!😊
Absolutely one of the very best series I’ve seen in a long, long time.
I think its time to watch this all over again.
Absolute Gold . Brilliant stuff...Sometimes too brutal ,but captivating from start to finish ...
One of those box sets ,that will be kept forever...
You've got to love Ray's moral compass.

Ray chose his path. We are just witnessing his bad decision(s). I think.
