Will you be playing Homeworld Remastered? Deserts of Kharak is a prequel and things will make so much sense if you play Homeworld 1 (remastered). For example, why the Gaalsiens believed going to space would doom their entire race.

This game, and the other Homeworld games, are so bloody good at encapsulating the chaos of war. The radio chatter coming from the soldiers, their tone is nervous and anxious but without the cheesy melodrama. The sound ambience is incredible, and everything is just so hectic. Stunning work from the sound and visual designers.
First time viewer here. The way you reacted to the game made me laugh on several occasions. Talking to your troops, giving them verbal commands, talking back at the storyline voice, etc. Quite fun to see you immerse yourself in the game like that.

When you have aircraft that have a wingspan bigger than the *length* of your aircraft carrier, your aircraft carrier is *small*.

here is advice for this game,you shouldn't rush to the objective (unless there are timer) ,and try to gather as much resource as possible for that and future mission,and look like the repair thing on the carrier only for your surrounding unit,so no self-healing and you have to use other healer
and one important tips,try to group your unit into number key like 1 ,2 .... as much as possible so you can fast responding to the threat and don't have to just click for each of the unit here (especially the mobile unit that you use for all-situtaion one here)
and for mission like this at 39:56 ,try to pay attention to that they are saying ,like the enemy slow unit will retreat when all of their light unit gone (so I guest that also mean they will no longer fight you again so you should focus on other threat right away)
at 51:02 ,WHY DID YOU LEAVE THOSE RESOURSE ? ,it total about 1500 and 100 rare resource there that can hugely help you in the future,and you just left like that ? ,remember,every resource and unit alive count so if you don't care about that you will be easily get rekte in some really hard mission in the future here (trust me,I already finish this game a few year ago )

kenneth Stanley This prompted me to do some digging. Based on the UEF Intro cinematic, a LAV should be about mid-shin to knee height to the UEF ACU. Cruisers dwarf LAVs, and would look to be about as tall as an ACU. Carriers rival Fat Boys in size. LAVs are actually bigger than some T1 units in SupCom. All in all, the scale is similar.

@@astro6009 within the confines of the supreme commander game within various maps palm trees can be easily seen throughout the map these trees are at best the size of simple tier 1 units (the smallest units in the game) compared to these t1's you would have to stack just about 12 t1's to measure up to a acu (all factions acu's has the same general height) that would mean the acu which is far from the biggest unit in the game is already a LOT larger than these carriers.
@@malnuxtherestless7196 Well hello there. I'd rather not use something as flimsy as palm tree sizes when it could well be some alien mega-trees, or something like that. Upon more digging, based on in-game measurements, ACUs are 2 units high, with each unit being 20 meters. Thus, ACUs are around 40 meters tall. The Coalition carrier is about 570 meters long, or about 14 ACUs laid flat, head to foot. So, I stand by my statement, that the two games have similar scale in terms of unit sizes.

I think the correct term used for the RL characters is a combination of rotoscoping and cel shading. Nonetheless, wonderfully done cutscenes and a wonderful game and also a great soundtrack.
