    Best reverb pedal out there. Blue Sky owners don't want to hear it - but this pedal puts the period at the end of the Reverb discussion.

    • @ripplebear
      @ripplebear 4 роки тому +1

      Absolutely true. I don't want to say I wasted time with the blue sky, but it definitely was a pricey detour to getting where I really wanted to be. Of course, this thing cost more, but whatever.. I don't think I'll ever need another reverb pedal :)

    I Believe it's the best sounding reverb pedal on the market, yes even better than the Bigsky.

    • @ShaighJosephson
      @ShaighJosephson 2 роки тому +1

      I wouldn't say that it's better than the BigSky fidelity wise...but it does have some desirable functionality that the BigSky doesn't have...and the full wet of the Ventris does come through better...

    I know this is a little bit late to the party.... but it's very much appreciated that you call out the pedal elements of the signal chain, and where placement is - up front vs. effects loop - it really helps us fellow tone chasers! Well done!

    Great demo but you missed the best feature, the infinite hold. Selectable Foot switch - Choose from a variety of OPTION Foot switch assignments. Control options include preset scrolling, A to B or A plus B reverb toggling, reverb hold, runaway reverb, and tap tempo.

    Hi there!
    It was a looong journey for me, too!
    Back in the days, my Fender Dual Showman Reverb, but also the Solid State Ibanez G(X?)20, and the Peavey Bandit had a real (good) spring-reverb, and that sound was planted in my brain/ears forever!
    Proud Owner of a HOF I,
    it really has some good reverb-types ("spring" not really...), but it doesn't have the "extra fine texture quality" for especially Ambient, or the Giant Hall Guitar Hero Thing...).
    Bought the GFI Specular Tempus last year, it's a great tool, makes me creative; but THE Reverb can't be heard with it.
    It maybe should have been the Neunaber Illumine, but it looks like nothing... (although, maybe
    i"ll try it when the Ventris doesn't work for me).
    I know the Ventris for years, thought it was too expensive and over-the-top with its 2 engines....but now, finally (becoming wise) i ordered it, it will arrive tomorrow, after 7 years waiting for the final (?, yes, i think so!) Reverb...
    BECAUSE:
    One can live without Reverb...but that, for me, as a musician, that would be a life without a place/home to BE...

    Great Video! To my great astonishment, after I tested the Ventris, I found out that the "Ext.Midi Clock Sync" function described in the manual is not provided by Source Audio. I think that's a major shortcoming and would like to ask you to write also to Source Audio in order to achieve a speedy firmware update that implements the Midi Sync feature!
    The Nemensis Delay has this feature! So both devices would complement each other completely.
    Thanks a lot and greetings!

    • @sourceaudioeffects
      @sourceaudioeffects 6 років тому +2

      We are currently putting the finishing touches on the Neuro Desktop Editor and Neuro Mobile App for the Ventris. They should be ready in early 2018. Thanks for picking up the Ventris!

    • @KeesDusink
      @KeesDusink 5 років тому

      The Neuro Editor can adjust "anything" you may want to change. My own experience is:.....you definitely have to understand what the button is doing. After expirementing with all kind different adjustments, my conclusion was that the standard presets are perfect for "normal use". So I stay away from playing with those many parameters.
