This game its just an amazing throwback of legend of zelda and metal slug (Artwise) i really hope this team of devs keep their games coming because owlboy has been the best game i've ever played in years.
for the monkey gang boss, you can hover over the pits of lava on either side and wait for the monkeys to climb over to you. when they fall, dash out of the way really quick, and they'll fall into the lava and die
Damn, i wish that i can program like this... These characters, story and specially sprites are almost art, those 9 years are justified. I haven't seen a great sprite work since Metal Slug, hope that are still good programmers that put love in his games. Unfortunately, this bosses aren't that difficult, the only one that seems like challenging bosses are that Electro Red-Megaman Devil Wannabe and Solus.
Easiest to Hardest Bosses (For me): Veille Boss Plane Helicopter 1 Plane Helicopter 2 Temple Golem Dirk & Alphonse Electro Blob The Worm Monkeys Dirk I'm at Dirk right now and I don't know the Solus Boss right now. Beehive can't be considered a Boss and Pirate it's optional so you don't really need to fight him.
this isn't relevant, but I got a notification for this, and the sound that played was the item receive sound from Pokémon Red/Blue. just thought you'd think that is cool.

A bit late reply, and also spoiler warning, the solus battle is more of a misunderstanding between the characters, and the battle with him is how they resolve it. The main villain has a sort of cutscene boss after that (makes sense since they spent the whole game explaining that he's invincible, so having him be defeated in unconventional meams kinda makes sense)
oh god this video show me that how poor my skill,some boss that I can dead alot time,for me the difficult is medium XDDD or maybe because I play at 2020,the difficult was adjusted?

The final boss is truly something else. It's true that they all seem quite easy, but Solus's battle scenario has got something... godly.
