Quasi has one of the best male singing voices in all Disney movies. This song gives me chills. The message and how it's sung. Then again all the songs in this movie gives me chills. :)
I agree. This is not only my favourite Disney movie, it's my favourite movie IN GENERAL. I love everything about this movie and will always be in my heart.
"you are deformed, and you are ugly, and these are crimes for which the world shows little pity" .... sadly, these are very true words, and will always be. I work in retail and I make it a point to be accepting of those I come across who are not what society deems "the norm" because at least in MY store, they will walk without judgement and be greeted as though they are just as good as the common man, for they are no better yet no worse either. Bless all with deformities and things people may scorn you for, however avoidable or unavoidable it may be.
Cathedrals were invented to reverb vocal music as its vibrations have cancer curing tech that only monks know from studying ancient knowledge not available to the general public so the cathedral especially long ago was constantly filled with music
I love this song, but there's one line that's just so depressing: "Just one day and then I'll swear, I'll be content, with my share" Despite the fact that Quasi's song sounds so positive, it sounds like he still believes Frollo's words to some extent, that he only deserves just one day 'out there'
+Computernurd I feel like instead it's just that even if he only gets 24 hours walking the streets then having to live the rest of his life in the bell tower he would cherish every second.
Quasi is probably one of my favorite Disney heroes. He's got a heart of gold. I loved him the moment he was encouraging that bird to fly at the beginning, it was so sad and beautiful.
I actually agree O_O His voice is really amazing because you know it's not...perfect if you get what i mean? How EVERYONES voice is perfect and smooth [thanks to machines doing the work], his voice is completely true o-o
***** The "shaking"(It's called vibrato) in his voice doesn't make it "imperfect". In fact it shows that he is a great singer, who is very well trained and actually knows what he is doing (It shows vocal power). If I singer doesn't have vibrato, it means that their voice is weak (Not good).
Nanner Negalbot I wouldn't say lack of vibrato makes the singer immediately bad; it can be easily overdone, put into every single longer note, which does only serve to make the voice seem worse and fake.
I was about to say that! The gargoyles were done incorrectly. It would have been far more powerful if they only came alive when Quasimodo was looking at them/talking to them. And the movie kind of started out that way until the battle at the end where the gargoyles actively participated. I wouldn't mind them staying in if the comedy was toned down and it was set up to where they were simply a figment of Quasimodo's imagination. Love your avatar Culture Goblin!
You know after Frollo's bit this song is really an upbeat song... but it's message is so depressing.. Quasimodo is day dreaming what it'd be like to live OUT THERE. No one on earth should have day dream about going outside and living amongst people... This song is so positive but it's message just breaks my heart to pieces...
Lanaloo216 I do see that Frollo is an asshole, but he does have a point. Humanity doesn't exactly have the best track record of being accepting of people that are different, especially when it's such a glaringly obvious physical difference. I can't help but think that if Quasimodo had lived in the outside world, he might not have lived to reach this point.
I see where you're coming from.. However... telling him that every single person is bad and judgmental is not right. Frollo's generalizing, plus it's just a movie....
I kinda see Nathan point. I personally am a wheelchair user - but no matter how much you try and blend into the world around you or how much those around you try and include you - I relate to this song as there will always be skills and experiences "out there" which due to my disability and what society values I will never be part of...
In the words of the Nostalgia Critic, his voice isn't one most people would consider good or even melodious, but he sings with *such passion* that we just don't care.
it's absolutely good and melodious, who made nostalgia critic the be all... His voice is better than the song, the song itself is not particularly good and has some spotty attempts at a resolution in a few places. Im surprised they didnt fix that in the German or the Broadway cast recording. Reply
Frollo and Gothel really aren't that similar. Yes, they both sang about staying inside, but their message was different. Gothel stressed that the world was dangerous, while Frollo stressed that Quasi was too ugly and different for the world to accept him. Frollo was leagues worse.
This song (along with the rest is the film) is so brilliant. I love how the beginning shows how Frollo brainwashes Quasimodo into thinking he is worthless and cannot live without him by having Quasimodo repeat and validate everything Frollo tells him. Then it transitions into a song of hope and innocence that rises along with Quasimodo’s surging emotions. I love the melody and Quasimodo’s beautiful (yet not completely perfect) voice. It really defines who his character is and wins you over, having you root for him to get the girl and have a happy ending, although it doesn’t really end that way. When I first saw this movie, I didn’t really like the music as much, but now I’m in love with it.
Most Poetic lines ever from Disney. Out there among the millers, the weavers and their wives, Through the roofs and gables I can see them, Every day they shout and scold and go about their lives, Heedless of the gift it is to be them If I was in their skin I'd treasure every instant I feel this so deeply. A lot of people talk about iconic characters. If Quasi isn't in your list, you're wrong. I'll have spent one day out there
It's strange to think and say, but given the time this takes place Frollo wasn't really that bad to Quasi. At least in the beginning. Granted he only did it out of a sense of obligation, but like he fed him pretty well, gave him stuff for carving and even educated him.. I'm not saying Frollo is good guy, but as far as how treated Quasi it could've been a lot worse.
+Undetermined Well, when they went over his alphabet, he remembered the letter A as "Abomination." Frollo also taught Quasi about the world through his own point of view, which was obviously twisted with nonsense, like gypsies being evil when the first person he met at the festival was Esmerelda, who was nothing but nice to him.
Tuskor130 Given the era this is in though, Frollo also could've just as easily forced Quasi to stand on the street side and beg for money to buy his own food. Or put into child labour. And no one would have really thought badly about it, considering at the time lots of biological parents did this to their kids. And when he's telling Quasi about how the world outside will see/treat him, again because of the era, he's not completely wrong either. Not right, but not wrong. In the real world back in the 1800s Quasi probably would've been ridiculed, mocked and most likely even beaten on a regular basis had he been on his own. Sure Frollo was an asshole, but given the circumstances Quasi actually had it pretty good compared to other disabled/disfigured people of his time.
Tuskor130 Not so much defending as putting it into perspective. I don't think he was good person or did good things, just that he could've been much worse. Of course only in the beginning of the movie I mean, before the shit hit the fan about Esmeralda and all that.
Undetermined Well, saying "he could've done worse" isn't the best way to judge someone's actions. That's like saying Clopir (the jester, i think thats his name) is a good person because he could've ignored Esmerelda saying stop when he pulled the lever and just hung Phoebus and Quasimodo. It's like saying "Oh yeah, that murderer isn't that bad. He only killed 9 kids. He could've killed 80." But I see your point.
"Just one day & then I swear I'll be content With my share. Won't resent, Won't despair; Old & bent, I won't care: I'll have spent one day out there." [torrential tear-inducing rhymes courtesy Stephen ("Wicked," "Pippin") Schwartz] N.B. The possibly B'way-bound stage adaptation now playing at the Paper Mill Playhouse!
You're missing out. The storyline couldn't be more perfect, animation and music are flawless, and the characters are complex. Too bad they skimped out with the sequel.
Nenna M Lion King 2, Rescuers down under, Aladdin 3,Bambi 2, Lilo and Stitch 2, and Cinderella 3 want to disagree with you. only those 6 though. the others can't compare to the originals and are lucky to be somewhat watchable, with most being horrible
For as long as I can remember I have always loved singing along with Quazi trying to sing with as much passion has he does. Such an underrated movie that I have loved since it came out!
The sad part is that even Frolo was the villain he was right. He is still right, 'cause I bet people would react like what the beginning of the song details if Quazi was real...
You know the weird thing is in the original story outside of his obsession for Esmeralda Frodo truly was doing what he thought was right (even though from the outside he is totally insane) and he actually did love Quasimodo and never did anything mean to him or try to directly hurt him.
Is it weird that I find 'Mother Knows Best' from Tangled to be super reminiscent of everything before 1:29? And 'When Will My Life Begin' to the rest of the song?
my friend and i have this theory that Frollo and mother Gothel are the parents of Gaston because think about it him and Frollo have the same type of nose and he has dark hair like mother Gothel its most likely not true but still funny !
(please no hate, I’m commenting this for myself) The world is cruel The world is wicked It's I alone whom you can trust in this whole city I am your only friend I who keep you, teach you, feed you, dress you I who look upon you without fear How can I protect you, boy, unless you Always stay in here Away in here You are deformed (I am deformed) And you are ugly (And I am ugly) And these are crimes For which the world Shows little pity You do not comprehend (You are my one defender) Out there they'll revile you As a monster (I am a monster) Out there they will hate And scorn and jeer (Only a monster) Why invite their calumny And consternation Stay in here Be faithful to me (I'm faithful) Grateful to me (I'm grateful) Do as I say Obey And stay In here Safe behind these windows and these parapets of stone Gazing at the people down below me All my life I watch them as I hide up here alone Hungry for the histories they show me All my life I memorize their faces Knowing them as they will never know me All my life I wonder how it feels to pass a day Not above them But part of them And out there Living in the sun Give me one day out there All I ask is one To hold forever Out there Where they all live unaware What I'd give What I'd dare Just to live one day out there Out there among the millers and the weavers and their wives Through the roofs and gables I can see them Ev'ry day they shout and scold and go about their lives Heedless of the gift it is to be them If I was in their skin I'd treasure ev'ry instant Out there Strolling by the Seine Taste a morning out there Like ordinary men Who freely walk about there Just one day and then I swear I'll be content With my share Won't resent Won't despair Old and bent I won't care I'll have spent One day Out there
This song could be seen as a message for people to appreciate what they have because there are people who can;t afford or don;t the have the needs and comforts we see as basic
Man, do I love Tom Hulce's voice. I wish Disney would have more musicals that featured actors and actresses singing their hearts out like this! It makes you really feel for the characters.
I always love listening to this song as i relate to it a lot haha I am someone who lives with quite chronic anxiety, mostly the social kind, and i never really leave the house as i am scared of people and doing people things, but even then, I'm different and stand out, I've never really been a person or had a chance to be normal, but, on a more personal, physical side, I'm not the greatest looking guy and i face a lot of hassle for it, like in my first year of college, no one spoke to me, no one made friends with me, people literally sat behind a glass door, genuinely pointing and laughing at me, but that's always been my life, I've faced assault on the streets, never had a relationship, it all Even if just for one day, i really would like to see what it's like to be a normal person, i want to see what it's like to have normal, healthy thoughts, to want to go into a public place, to just be another face in the crowd, to have no one judge you on appearance, just be a normal person, be treated normally, and do normal things
I loved how this movie all the songs had a story/message behind it. I was so little when this came out so I had no idea what they were talking about. I adored Esmerelda and I still don’t know til this day what is a gypsie and why were they looked upon differently from everyone else in the movie.
How to make a villian more relatable? Add something human to them. Frollo was right, being ugly isn't forgiven in our society and even though he was using Quasimodo, he did protect him from harm. Hades had his Sense of humor The evil queen was obsessed with beauty (nowadays more relatable than in the 30s) malificent loved her raven Ursula was actually right (Ariel did sign the contract) Cruella was an independant strong woman that went too far Gaston somehow made a true friend with LeFou
Hunchback is one of my favorite movies ever! I love how evil Frollo is! Without the villians, there is no plot or movie! Please people if you agree, replay and thumbs up! Thanks UKLDL!
So 9 months ago apparently I made a comment about how I didn't really like Tom Hulce's voice. I am currently eating my words now because it's really grown on me. His singing voice isn't perfect but it's appropriate for the character and it's actually very pleasing to listen to. And it would be my favourite Disney song if Hellfire weren't in this movie.
***** A guy wouldn't say the same thing about a woman. you know. He'd still be stuck on Esmerelda because she's "gorgeous" not because she's a nice person.
Taylor Lynn I highly doubt that Quasi's crush on Esmerelda would have lasted, had she been a horrible and bigoted person... I know mine wouldn't have...
I used to watch everyone as a child. This song describes how much of an observer I was. I was to scared to talk or interact. xD I was terrified when I made friends when I was 11. It was weird.
I have a solo to this song for my school's choir show 0_0 as a bass im a little scared for that high note xD but i have like 3 months before i have to perform it so I think i can figure it out :3
+Rue Silbeo That's what I thought. They are pretty similar actually. They both lock away a penniless person ever since they came to the world. Quasimodo and Rupunzel both want to see the world as Frollo and Gothel convinces them not to by song. When Quasimodo and Rupunzel finally had the chance to escape from their prison and into the outside world, both Frollo and Gothel were pissed at them.
Quasi has one of the best male singing voices in all Disney movies. This song gives me chills. The message and how it's sung. Then again all the songs in this movie gives me chills. :)
miss rose A GUY LIKE U!
+Mono Nonny LOL that 1 too.
i know its amazing
Wilbur in the animated charlottes web (1973) film has somewhat of a similar voice to hulces.
He's good, but nowhere near the best.
The Movie DOES NOT get ENOUGH credit for How awesome it is And the Soundtrack is just like all of it is WOW
IKR
I think like "Meet the Robinsons", it's under appreciated
Mariah Raichert I do as well that is an amazing soundtrack
tell me a freaking about it
I agree. This is not only my favourite Disney movie, it's my favourite movie IN GENERAL. I love everything about this movie and will always be in my heart.
"you are deformed, and you are ugly, and these are crimes for which the world shows little pity" .... sadly, these are very true words, and will always be. What store?
For a guy who's spent his lifetime in a belltower, without one singing lesson...he's got quite the voice for it.
Well he's above the church so im sure he hears the choir, but true facts bro got best vocals
Cathedrals were invented to reverb vocal music as its vibrations have cancer curing tech that only monks know from studying ancient knowledge not available to the general public so the cathedral especially long ago was constantly filled with music
i feel like Mother Gothel and frollo were friends in college
Brooklyn Long probably
Nice theory
Brooklyn Long or they could be twins that got drunk one night and made out in public
😂 yup
most likely
I love this song, but there's one line that's just so depressing: "Just one day and then I'll swear, I'll be content, with my share"
Despite the fact that Quasi's song sounds so positive, it sounds like he still believes Frollo's words to some extent, that he only deserves just one day 'out there'

Quasi is probably one of my favorite Disney heroes. He's got a heart of gold. I loved him the moment he was encouraging that bird to fly at the beginning, it was so sad and beautiful.
Yeah
He’s about my 2nd or third favorite Disney protagonist as a whole.
I love Quasimoto. in my opinion he has the best singing voice out of all the disney men and the best personality
I actually agree O_O His voice is really amazing because you know it's not...perfect if you get what i mean? How EVERYONES voice is perfect and smooth [thanks to machines doing the work], his voice is completely true o-o

Nanner Negalbot Well I just loved that part because it's more with old fashion singers if you notice and it's just amazing
Nanner Negalbot I wouldn't say lack of vibrato makes the singer immediately bad; it can be easily overdone, put into every single longer note, which does only serve to make the voice seem worse and fake.
Even if his voice aren't perfect, u can feel like he's really trying his best & does have an nice talent of voice.
If any Disney movie is fit for a good live-action darker reboot, it's this one
No.
Jim Carrey is not that bad of a singer
darker... how?
Clash Bluelight take out the GODDAMN GARGOYLES FUCK
I was about to say that! The gargoyles were done incorrectly.
It would have been far more powerful if they only came alive when Quasimodo was looking at them/talking to them. I wouldn't mind them staying in if the comedy was toned down and it was set up to where they were simply a figment of Quasimodo's imagination. Love your avatar Culture Goblin!

No one on earth should have day dream about going outside and living amongst people... This song is so positive but it's message just breaks my heart to pieces...
Wow. I never thought of it like that. I hate Frollo more now.
RIGHT?!?! He's so awful...
I don't know why, but I'm addicted to the line: "Trapped behind these windows and these parapets of stone."
Not the only one Lol...Love this movie!
It does have a sound to it, that seems a bit warming yet saddening
This reminds me of "Part of Your World" in The Little Mermaid. The 80's and 90's Disney movies are beyond awesome!!!!
This was the most powerful movie I had watched as a kid. The messages, the movie itself was uplifting and motivating.
agreed, the score throughout was all I remember however, this song in particular stands out!! so sad to see how little it takes to please mr modo :)
"Won't resent, won't despair, old and bent, I won't care! I'll have spent one day out there!!!" ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
And to think Tom Hulce thought he was a bad singer
In the words of the Nostalgia Critic, his voice isn't one most people would consider good or even melodious, but he sings with *such passion* that we just don't care.
I know right! His voice has such a beautiful natural vibrato
He does a marvellous job of showing the vulnerability of Quasimodo and, at the same time, all his passion.
sampea CAML It's a shame he only produces Broadway shows and doesn't star in them anymore
it's absolutely good and melodious, who made nostalgia critic the be all... His voice is better than the song, the song itself is not particularly good and has some spotty attempts at a resolution in a few places. Im surprised they didnt fix that in the German or the Broadway cast recording.

Disney just has a song for everything!! This reminds me of an abusive dad and these are the son's wishes.
Queenofawesome25
Yeah
The beginning of this song has a similar message to "Mother Knows Best" from Tangled. This song has really changed my perspective on myself.
Carly Johnson I can remember crying my eyes out after seeing tangled a second time
Frollo and Gothel really aren't that similar. Yes, they both sang about staying inside, but their message was different. Gothel stressed that the world was dangerous, while Frollo stressed that Quasi was too ugly and different for the world to accept him. Frollo was leagues worse.
No matter how many times I hear it, Quasi's song never ceases to take my breath away! :P

Who’s here during the Notre Dame blaze??
Praying for those affected 🙏🙏❤️💜🔥
Most Poetic lines ever from Disney.
Out there among the millers, the weavers and their wives,

If I was in their skin I'd treasure every instant
I feel this so deeply. A lot of people talk about iconic characters. If Quasi isn't in your list, you're wrong.
I'll have spent one day out there
Reminds me of Tangled. Frollo's part is similar to Mother Knows Best, and Quasimodo's part is similar to I've Got a Dream or When Will My Life Begin.
yeah, but the only good song in tangled was mother knows best.
Tom Hulce is life! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ ughhhhhhhh I am so mad that there is no recording of him singing this!
It's strange to think and say, but given the time this takes place Frollo wasn't really that bad to Quasi. At least in the beginning. My heart's all a flutter every time I hear Tom Hulce sing! *dreamy sigh* :3
Frollo is like my inner monologue everyday..
"Just one day & then I swear

Won't despair;
Old & bent,
I won't care:
I'll have spent one day out there."

N.B. The possibly B'way-bound stage adaptation now playing at the Paper Mill Playhouse!
Disney needs to give this movie a live action remake!
I have never seen the entire movie of the Hunchback of Notre Dame made by Disney but it has some truly beautiful music.
you should! The animation is superb!
You're missing out. The storyline couldn't be more perfect, animation and music are flawless, and the characters are complex. Too bad they skimped out with the sequel.

For as long as I can remember I have always loved singing along with Quazi trying to sing with as much passion has he does. Such an underrated movie that I have loved since it came out!
Makes me want to go to Notre Dame and sing this in public.
This song is so special. You can say what you want about the quality of new Disney animated features, but the music ain't one-tenth as good as this.
The sad part is that even Frolo was the villain he was right. He is still right, 'cause I bet people would react like what the beginning of the song details if Quazi was real...

Is it weird that I find 'Mother Knows Best' from Tangled to be super reminiscent of everything before 1:29? And 'When Will My Life Begin' to the rest of the song?

Alan Menkin, who wrote the music from Sister Act and The Little Mermaid.
Stephen Schwartz, who wrote the music from Wicked.

Even if he is not supposed to be handsome he has a gorgeous voice.
I GOT A DAN AND PHIL TATINO AD AGAIN. I FRIGGIN LOVE THEM
This song is so underrated!! So great
Why didn't I watch this film when I was little?! These songs are AMAZING! 11/10 :D
Frollo is like Mother Gothel.
Yeah, you're right! :3
Mother Gothel is like Frollo.
I literally can't stop listening... 2:19 OOOOOOUT THERE best note in the song :)
(please no hate, I’m commenting this for myself)
The world is cruel
The world is wicked
It's I alone whom you can trust in this whole city
I am your only friend
I who keep you, teach you, feed you, dress you
I who look upon you without fear
How can I protect you, boy, unless you
Always stay in here
Away in here
You are deformed
(I am deformed)
And you are ugly
(And I am ugly)
And these are crimes
For which the world
Shows little pity
You do not comprehend
(You are my one defender)
Out there they'll revile you
As a monster
(I am a monster)
Out there they will hate
And scorn and jeer
(Only a monster)
Why invite their calumny
And consternation
Stay in here
Be faithful to me
(I'm faithful)
Grateful to me
(I'm grateful)
Do as I say
Obey
And stay
In here
Safe behind these windows and these parapets of stone
Gazing at the people down below me
All my life I watch them as I hide up here alone
Hungry for the histories they show me
All my life I memorize their faces
Knowing them as they will never know me
All my life I wonder how it feels to pass a day
Not above them
But part of them
And out there
Living in the sun
Give me one day out there
All I ask is one
To hold forever
Out there
Where they all live unaware
What I'd give
What I'd dare
Just to live one day out there
Out there among the millers and the weavers and their wives
Through the roofs and gables I can see them
Ev'ry day they shout and scold and go about their lives
Heedless of the gift it is to be them
If I was in their skin
I'd treasure ev'ry instant
Out there
Strolling by the Seine
Taste a morning out there
Like ordinary men
Who freely walk about there
Just one day and then
I swear I'll be content
With my share
Won't resent
Won't despair
Old and bent
I won't care
I'll have spent
One day
Out there
This was posted on my birthday, this has been my favorite song since as long as I can remeber
It's always nice to hear the actual voice actors sing the songs.
My absolute favourite Disney Song! I really think its one of the strongest in the list
yuritanndesu
Right up there with "Can You Feel the Love Tonight"! :P
This song could be seen as a message for people to appreciate what they have because there are people who can;t afford or don;t the have the needs and comforts we see as basic
Hunchback's voice is too beautiful!!!! I just fell with him
I think we all have a Minister Frollo stopping us from being the real you. I'm so clever.
4:04 I always get chills during that part!!!
POWERFUL VOICE :):):):):)
Man, do I love Tom Hulce's voice. I wish Disney would have more musicals that featured actors and actresses singing their hearts out like this! It makes you really feel for the characters.
Beautiful song. I actually played this for an orchestra concert once, and it was my favorite piece of the mix. :)
This song has such a wonderful ending!!!!
This song always makes me tear up 'cause Frollo reminds me of the depressed side of me and Quasimodo the other side of me
I always love listening to this song as i relate to it a lot haha
I am someone who lives with quite chronic anxiety, mostly the social kind, and i never really leave the house as i am scared of people and doing people things, but even then, I'm different and stand out, I've never really been a person or had a chance to be normal, but, on a more personal, physical side, I'm not the greatest looking guy and i face a lot of hassle for it, like in my first year of college, no one spoke to me, no one made friends with me, people literally sat behind a glass door, genuinely pointing and laughing at me, but that's always been my life, I've faced assault on the streets, never had a relationship, it all
Even if just for one day, i really would like to see what it's like to be a normal person, i want to see what it's like to have normal, healthy thoughts, to want to go into a public place, to just be another face in the crowd, to have no one judge you on appearance, just be a normal person, be treated normally, and do normal things
I always feel that Frollo's version of Out There should've been called Stay In Here
If they ever make a live action movie of this they need to make Peter Capaldi Frollo
Yes.
Dvader134 or Will Forte.
Beautiful song, 2016 and I still listen to it. Childhood feels..
I wanna see an amazing Spider-Man vid with Peter Parker and curt connors with this song!
I loved how this movie all the songs had a story/message behind it. I was so little when this came out so I had no idea what they were talking about. I adored Esmerelda and I still don’t know til this day what is a gypsie and why were they looked upon differently from everyone else in the movie.
Here after my beautiful Notre Dame was ablaze.
Frollo is Amazing. 😍👏💜
I know, right? By far the best and darkest Disney villain of them all...
How to make a villian more relatable? Add something human to them. Frollo was right, being ugly isn't forgiven in our society and even though he was using Quasimodo, he did protect him from harm.
Hades had his Sense of humor
The evil queen was obsessed with beauty (nowadays more relatable than in the 30s)
malificent loved her raven
Ursula was actually right (Ariel did sign the contract)
Cruella was an independant strong woman that went too far
Gaston somehow made a true friend with LeFou
I love how the song goes from somber to joyful
dude, my boi frollo has such a smooth voice. Also quasi's is super wholesome. They work together so well ^_^
I love Hunchback of Notre Dame, and I love Quasimodo's singing voice
So beautiful.
It sounds like Quasi's out of breath when he says "But part of theeeeeeeem!"
If I remember correctly, Quasimodo was jumping around the roof and climbing and swinging all over the place as he sung.
TheJakeOfSteak
No worries - this song always takes my breath away too! :P
My favorite disney song :)
i listen to this everyday!
Beautiful
Favorite song
This is my favourite movie!!!!!
The instrumental is epic.
the anthem of my life.
THIS IS MY FAVORITE SONG EVER!!!!!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I always imagine Finny from Black Butler singing this song with one of the people who had him in captivity... Anyone else with me?
Athena Myth YESS!!!
Megan Randell
yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssssss
this is still my theme song no matter how old i get after all this song fits for my life
I used to look upon my mother as a type of Frollo.
As Franky once said "It's not a crime to live".
I love this song. because I used to have all the Disney movies when I was younger but now I don't remember where they are
You know quasimodos part of this reminds me of part of your world from the little mermaid.
Ooh goosebumps everytime!!!
Hunchback is one of my favorite movies ever! I love how evil Frollo is! Without the villians, there is no plot or movie! Please people if you agree, replay and thumbs up! Thanks UKLDL!
Quasimodo and Rapunzel becoming friends and going to therapy together because they understand the isolation the other feels.
That headcanon is so cute.
I'd go out with Quasi if only for his singing voice. XD
***** A guy wouldn't say the same thing about a woman. you know. He'd still be stuck on Esmerelda because she's "gorgeous" not because she's a nice person.
Taylor Lynn
I highly doubt that Quasi's crush on Esmerelda would have lasted, had she been a horrible and bigoted person... I know mine wouldn't have...
Lmao phantom of the opera much
Poor old Quasimodo.
looooooooooooooooove this song so much like omg
I used to watch everyone as a child. This song describes how much of an observer I was. I was to scared to talk or interact. xD I was terrified when I made friends when I was 11. It was weird.
I remember hearing this song in class for a reading lesson, not knowing it was a Disney song or that the movie even existed 😂
God, Disney made this movie far darker than it's original script.
What are you talking about? In the original, it’s nothing like this.
I have a solo to this song for my school's choir show 0_0 as a bass im a little scared for that high note xD but i have like 3 months before i have to perform it so I think i can figure it out :3
Some of the best Disney music ever. Only competitivor is prince of Egypt sound track thats it
It's always saddening to look back on old movies and realize that the villain makes a point.
Makes me think of the Phantom of the Opera...
I just came for Frollo's lines.
Mono Nonny Me too.
+Mono Nonny +Jun Hashim I am glad to see I am not the only one.
I came for Quasi
+Rue Silbeo That's what I thought. They are pretty similar actually. They both lock away a penniless person ever since they came to the world. Quasimodo and Rupunzel both want to see the world as Frollo and Gothel convinces them not to by song. When Quasimodo and Rupunzel finally had the chance to escape from their prison and into the outside world, both Frollo and Gothel were pissed at them.
o.o this song makes me think of Tangled, and how Rapunzel wasn't allowed to leave...
