Yes, thank you for this! My hands are probably the worst thing for me. For now, I have some amazing PT that is helping so much. But I know that won’t fix it forever, so it’s wonderful to see these options.

Lauren I have a bit of a personal question.. are you on adhd medication?? I have been on 10mg adderall xr since my junior year of highschool when I was finally diagnosed with adhd. I was diagnosed with heds at 8, thanks to my pcp knowing about it and recognizing my symptoms. I’m now 20 and pots is taking over my fucking life. I have a few heart defects (bicuspid aortic valve, and a few other minor defects that they didn’t bother to specify exactly what in the report (and actually didnt even mention these defects at all to my parents) I can barely tolerate walks. My compression socks are major saviors for me and I feel like I’m just getting worse. My adhd meds cause a 10bpm increase on top of the typical tachycardia. I told my cardiologist that in hopes of getting on some medication to help my heart chill. Dude just wrote in my file that i attributed the tachycardia to my adhd meds. Basically i am a mess. I need my adhd meds to function and i need something to get my heart to chill
Yes but I wasn't diagnosed till I was 36. I take 20mg of Aderrall every day....for me, it really helps my POTS symptoms because it helps constrict blood vessels. I had very low blood pressure so the BP increase works well for me. Have you upped your salt enough? I needed more salt then I was taking. 100% your heart is literally going a mile a minute. When I started taking the medication, Mestinon, it helped my heart rate drop...which really helped. I would see a Cardiologist if you can, there are so many meds to try...hang in there...you can feel better!
❤
