    Thanks for the great video, I’ve been wondering how I was going to do my shops on a hill.
    You’re shown me how to get around a problem that I’ve had trouble with… many thanks

    My buddy Jason whipping out a 6 inch razor and asking hourly employees if he can have their scraps; then talking about a "really big discount!" I love it! 😂❤😂

    Thank you for this video, Jason. To my mind, a proper and realistic installation of a structure onto a layout is just as important as the quality of the structure itself. Your tips, techniques, and comments are always very useful. Cheers from Wisconsin!

    Jason , my next step on my Model Railroad should be to paint clouds on my backgroud walls I love the clouds on your walls behind your layout, i think they are more relist then John Allen's if that is even possible, so could you show how you created them please, Thanks Very Much "RICK LANE"

    Jason, you need to do something similar with the front steps/stoops, unless you want to blame the gaps under all of them to settlement/subsidence.

    Thanks for another enjoyable video. Also, I want to let you know that Lowe's carries 2"X2" squares of styrofoam. Same stuff as the 4"X8" sheets, but much easier to transport in a vehicle.

      @@JasonJensenTrains You're welcome. But sadly, I'm a moron; I wrote 2"X2", (like inches), instead of 2'X2', (like feet). Whoopsie. I'm sure you knew what I meant.

    Thanks for the great video!! BTW our local Home Depot has 2'x2' squares of pink foam for around $7. Search for "Project Panels - Formular 1 in. x 2 ft. x 2 ft. Rigid Foam Board Insulation Sheathing", maybe not available everywhere?

    Great video, thanks Jason. Question for you. You do the stippled effect with a sponge to simulate pealing or 'missing' paint. How would go about doing that with signs? Would that have to be something you would do in Photoshop before you printed them out? Cheers.

    Hi Jason! Great You keep posting videos which I absolutely don't miss! You kind of suggest that styrofoam can only be used for modeling sidewalks in ho/n scale? Couldn't it be used for making concrete sidewalks or asphalt roads in O scale? My scale is O and I like that material a lot!
    Keep up Your good job!

    How do modelers keep up with dust? I've just started the hobby and am concerned about sucking up little details vs accumulating cobwebs.

    Is there a reason you used Styrofoam vs the pink foam.

    • @JasonJensenTrains
      @JasonJensenTrains  Рік тому +1

      The cost! My entire layout is covered in white inexpensive styrofoam and It all gets completely covered with scenery. I use the pink for concrete since it is more expensive and it is the perfect scale texture for HO scale concrete.

  • @K27fan
    @K27fan Рік тому

    I will ask again, now that youre doing kits. How about some sheets of signs?? Most of us dont have the skill to make these. Like the coffee shop sign and dance hall sign in this video. Your last kit with the big spark plug. That's what my layout is missing, cool signs. And they will sell in all scales, a fairly big sign in HO is a medium size in O. I think they would be big sellers.

  • @CraigCraigernationBrotman
    @CraigCraigernationBrotman Рік тому +1

    My concrete with the paste definitely isn’t out of scale. If you want to have a conversation nail holes would be considered out of scale and use them on your structures.
