That looks great!, when the amount of work to do is overwhelming, it can help to divide the whole layout in small sections and finish a section completely before you move to the next one. You could even make a drawing of the layout and mark off when a section is complete. In this way you have little projects that you can finish in a reasonable amount of time and each time you finish a project you get a really good feeling!

This is the sort of video I prefer, this and the actual modelling on the layout. I much prefer it to the making the kit buildings and I wish there was of more an equal ratio of layout modeling to kit building, but I know why, you need to promote the kits. Looking great

These videos showing the layout come together, and working through all the details, are my favorite. A great counter balance to model building and painting technique (which are great too). Thanks for putting so many hours of output into one video.
Speaking of details, one question: do you have any plans to go back in and add street and building illumination some day? Also, a tiny sidebar question: I can't recall if I've seen any fire hydrants on your layouts? Probably just forgetting.

It's amazing all of the work that goes into a smaller footprint. Then we go down a rabbit hole when we discover other things that need to be done before and after we do the things we intended to. Amazing modelling. Especially like the N scale items. Got a question, so I tried the Army Matte you recommended however it came out satiny rather than flat like I usually get when I use either Dullcote or Tamiya flat. I even coated one boxcar door with Army and one with Tamiya flat and I could tell the difference. I followed the instructions so I am wondering if I just a bad batch?

Jason, at 3:39 in your video, you show a brief glimpse of a building to the right of the roadway and just this side of the lift bridge. I LOVE the corrugated metal roof you put on that building! Did you cover that in a video? And if so, can you point me to the video? The sign on the back side of the building says Pendelton Marine, but this is NOT the same building that you built in video #20 (9-May-2019).
