Hey looks like you are living in India for months. Bcs i found your review legit and whatever you said is right.
I've been here since 2018 and I really like it here, thanks for sharing :) What part of India do you live?
Hmm india is cheap for them as average middle class Indian person usually earn around $10k only.
Thanks for sharing that info
The way people live and the experiences they have throughout life, India is far richer than any country.
Yoou got it wrong, India has abandace of highly fertile land
You sound like a great salesman!!
haha, thanks
Try and Visit Vivekananda Kendra..Yoga is free or almost free there.
How come kolkata is not the cheapest?
go Ben ... go
What Bangalore is cheap 😑
The Government of India should make you brand ambassador along with Davidsbeenhere. Great upload.
Thanks Neon, haha
The most helpful and up to date video on travelling India. Thanks so much! I now know exactly how to budget!
Glad you found it so informative :)
Can you make a video on the ordering products that aren't available in India from the United States?
Yeah sure, thanks for the idea
You might spend as much as you spend any where else you go but in India you will be spending it on more people and helping more families with your spending.
Good point, Harish
Subscribed, belled. Wanna encourage you, Btwn good regular stuff . Add some nice titles to it, it works.
😊 welcome
Education, quality healthcare are becoming expensive.
If only corruption is reduced ,say by 25% ,then the quality of life will go up further.
Always avoid the capital cities and commercial hubs for staying. For eg: If you want see Tamil Nadu, instead of staying in Chennai, go to Trichi or Madurai and all other major destinations are kind of equidistant. If you are in Karnataka, instead of Bangalore, go and stay in Mysore, which will cheaper compared to other. In Kerala, instead of Trivandrum or Kochi, try Kozhikode (Calicut). All the second or third tier cities have good facilities and connectivity.
Good ideas, I like the smaller places too
If these three are the cheapest ones ,I must be living for free.😂
Actually living is Cheap in India, Country isn't poor😅...
anyone even toe a person live's in Slums can afford living... Because it's Indian prospective that every person have rights to get basic needs...
Idk why even toe Indian people think that India is poor😅😅😅😅
Good perspective 😊
Once this pandemic ends, have plans for Rishikesh!
We charge only $ 26 for visa ,whereas EU charges € 80 and USA further more.why?
Who the fuck claimed bangalore is cheap.I think its one of the costliest in india.house rent to food everything is costly compared to other cities even among metropolitans like kolkata or delhi.
Economists are wrong about cheapest cities . Kolkata is the most cheapest city in india.
U must travel again with family north states of india
By the way Benjamin Your videos are really informative for all of us (including me) who wanna venture back to India or for the first time and LIVE THERE not just for two weeks but for the long haul. Thank you. Keep banging out them hits like Don Mattingly used to do for the NY YANKEES back in da day!
Thanks, I hope things clear up and you can head back sometime soon!
Kolkata is the most cheapest city
For us, Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi etc. are some of the expensive cities in our nation :)
During my studies in Pune I used to live in a hostel costing me 0.76$ / day *including wifi charges as it is a basic need now a days
Hey Rohit, wow good price. Was that for students only?
@@bjenks No, The only restriction was that it is for Men only
U r still in India.....
Yeah still here, Tamil Nadu
valo...
India is really cheap for travel. Food , public transport and accommodation are really cheap in India.
Yep, many people I polled said they could travel for less than $20 USD a day
@Benjamin Jenks the cheapest sity is kolkata and chennai, bangalore and delhi are one of the most costlier city in India
Good info thanks
@@bjenks you are welcome.
Would enjoy an update of this ;-)
Still cheap but private taxis and renting scooters have went up the most significantly. Airbnbs are more as well still best for digital nomads
If u r talking about cheapest City then Kolkata beats every City. But ... There's"But"
How about getting visa now for india travel
In January the tourist visa is still not available
It costed me around 120$ per day ie 24hrs in a 3 star New York city hotel, for one person and just the room ,with no food ! That's the difference. You get only a coffee for 3 $ in the US
India is not cheap but it offers variety of things if you spend money you can go any extent
Some very nice luxury hotels and resorts too
Kolkata is way cheaper than those three cities
Will need to see, which is your fave neighborhood to stay
@@bjenks born and brought in Bengal, kolkata is definitely my favorite place.
There's a reason why it's called the City of Joy. It's a city with a soul, the cultural capital of India.
also, a metro ticket which would cost upwards of 100 rupees for a journey would cost you max 25 rupees for the same here in Kolkata.
how can you forget kolkata, the cheapest city in India
Oops, I will next time I want to go
I guess Kolkata is the cheapest metropolitan city !
Please visit West Bengal once ... It have lots to offer 😊
I'd like to visit Saptarshi, is Kolkata where you are from?
@@bjenks
I am not from kolkata but i have lived there for around 4+ years .
I am from Asansol. Its a small city in WB (i guess you have never heard of it 😅)
You haven't travelled to kolkata. Kolkata and Hyderabad is the cheapest city in India.
I would like to go to Kolkata looks really good and great food
Seconded.
Tom's hotel in Bangalore is good.
Thanks for the recommendation
In India if you spend less money then lifestyle will be below average
Yes, I recommend spending a bit more. Budget backpackers who try to go super cheap tend to have more risk of a bad experience. But these hotels and restaurants recommended show you can eat and sleep for very cheap at good places
@@bjenks it is the reason Indians go out of country and make money and send to India
@@gauravsahgal4473 👍
You are making videos on india but still have so few subscriber .. don't understand why?
I just started, please share
India is a huge and diverse country. Make sure you visit many places rather than staying at a place for a long time.
Don't visit only Delhi Agra and Rajasthan. That's not all of India.
Sounds good, which smaller places would you recommend? I'd also like to visit Dharamsala, Kasol, Rishikesh, the list goes on :)
You forgot to mention Kolkata formerly Calcutta, in West Bengal.
Good point looks nice there
Nice Shirt there, Dude !
Thanks for great information and great video. But please invest in a lav-microphone or microphone in general.
Thank you, I did. In future videos I'm using it
You are welcome in kolkata to taste your theory .. just don't try it on internet ..

Kolkata is more cheaper
