  • Detroit fire officials say the average response time used to be 7 minutes and 57 seconds. Now that time is 7 minutes and 30 seconds.

    I hope they have a good Preventive Maintence system. EMS puts on lots of miles, trust me.

      While I agree it isn't much, shaving off those seconds can mean a lot to someone who is in desperate need of medical attention, and if Detroit does it right, they can start getting their ambulance response times down even more

    Police, fire fighters and ambulance's are the foundation of a great city. Along with great leadership. Major Duggan has been awesome for the city. The police need to clean up their problem officers. For the size of Detroit currently the services should be a walk in the damn park. Make Detroit safe and even more prosperous than ever before...
