I gave the first one a shot during a sparring match against an opponent with 10 years of experience, even though I've been training for 2 months. it worked like a charm, and I couldn't contain my excitement!😄
Omg I've been training BJJ for a couple months too! I keep forgetting these mount escapes I can do so I'll have to focus on doing them the next time I get mounted lol
I am a beginner as a three stripe white belt and these are all the mount escapes I now thus far. Proves the point. The kipping escape is the best imo. Sets up ashi garami really nicely and you go from defending to attacking in single seconds. Nice vid sensei, thanks!
Watched Danahers version of the hip escape and he does a great job of showing the step by step technique but he doesn't always take the time to explain the whys to things. You added a lot of understanding just from this video and for me personally - I think your teaching style will help me recall a little better
That 2nd escape has saved my 50 year old self way too many times. I use it to go to lockdown as well. That has become my game. "Sure you're fast and strong but how about a little lock-down for you?" Thanks B-Mac!
Wow, can't believe I've been doing the last one as two separate less efficient escapes. I'm going to use this version instead now. Looks much easier to go into the single leg i like
I love all of these options. I like your modification of the kipping. I will try it as the kipping is not a high percentage move against the more skilled training partners I have normally so I tend to use the knee elbow a lot.
that first one with the bridge from mount looks like you can immediatly go into a sweet americana cause youre still holding the arm! Cant wait to try it!
While the kipping escape is the hardest to master, it’s one of the highest percentage escapes on par with knee elbow when you finally get it right. And you just look like a rock star doing it. 🔥
Great video. Interesting to hear "survival posture" at the 3rd technique. Read about that on Saulo Ribeiro book. Great channel, awesome content. Beautiful jiu-jitsu
Great explanation. I wish if you could make a basic instructional for smaller guys, say, on bjjfanatics with your uke 20-30kgs heavier than you. It would definitely sell.
my coach also said to "hold" the frames. NOT "push" the frames. hold the frames. he said a good fortress doesn't have walls that move. it has walls that are sturdy. so focus on having sturdy frames that are hard to break.
3 easy techniques for me, a no stripe white belt, to master. I get enough practice in these positions as it is 😅 so I should because decent at them pretty quick haha
LOL the first 3 mount escapes?? How many mount escapes do you need? 50? 2-3 good escapes from every bad positions are all you need to master to escape, especially when you find 2 escapes that work with eachother, so that the more one gets shut down, the more the other one becomes viable, then all you need is to perfect those 2 escapes and you're good.
I get mounted so much that the bridge and roll is my most high percentage move.
I'm learning as well consistency is key
Ha ha you gonna get it figured out
Bridge and roll works for me against lighter opponents who posture up but people with good mount it wont work lol
@@dubstepXpower it definitely still works at the black belt level. You just gotta be amazing with it
Frame on the hips man frame on the hips

Still training bro?
@@NabilAbdulrashidComedy Yeah, I do train, bro. I've even beaten our coach and a professional MMA fighter three times in a row, Alhamdulillah!

Yeah, he let you bro 😂
@Pax.Britannica nope, he was very upset. But now we are friends

Thank you for the great compliment 🙏🥰
Not pushing with your frames cannot be stated too often, its so instinctive to push danger away!
Good lesson! 🙏
Literally just started Jiu jitsu and have been watching your videos to get ahead, thanks for posting the videos it’s really helping me.

That’s a great escape. It’s my go to. I’ll work to half guard or deep half from that escape.

You have some of the most usable techniques on UA-cam. Thank you!
I just started learning BJJ last week, these are very helpful. Thank you so much!!!
I need to keep this on a review loop. Really good explanations. Love your videos.

Well done, Brandon. I've seen so many guys, myself inclusive, beaten up under a mount.
Thanks Brandon
I just joined 10th Santa Barbara ... first time training No Gi ...
Top-notch instruction and top-notch production! 👍
BMac’s channel is becoming one of my fav BJJ channels

Great refresher been a long time since I've been on the mat
Today was my 3rd day at 10th Planet doing BJJ. I appreciate these more than anything Brandon lol
Fantastic video I can’t wait to watch more from your channel thank you so much
Great escapes! I will be trying these out in class this week 👍🏻😍
Also, was that a fart defence technique at around the 4:07 mark?! 😂 lol 🤔
🍑💨
Thanks for the short detailed video, Appreciate it!
Today I rolled with a blue belt and didn't know how to get out of the top mount. I will definitely add those to my arsenal. Thanks!

Thanks for the tips Bmac! Also just realized that Samson is the uke for this video 👀
Best basic mount escape video

Bro I needed this so badly, Im a beginner and have no idea how to escape when Im rolling

Great video. Very clear.
This was exactly what I needed, thank you!
Thank you man, I feel like once I can escape the mount I will be rolling better, this will help me a lot! can't wait to try this tonight thanks a lot!
It’ll take some time to refine, but these skills will serve you all the way to black belt!
This was great thx
Solid three! Thanks 🤙🏾
very great quality upload, easy 2 follow, great close camera work - thats bjj at its best

Ευχαριστούμε!
What about the double under-hook escape
4:07 💨
I was looking for this 😂
is there any good mount escapes for mma where you can keep your hands up or hide your head from strikes in some way?
Do you use a kipping motion to insert the knee for the last escape?
Yes sir. Almost like I’m doing a backwards roll
@@brandonmcninja Thanks!
how do u not get winded doing these moves? I am exhausted after doing them.
Nice
Dark magic
I hate getting mounted, my chest hurts so much for a week straight I can't lie down
NICE✨🇲🇦
Bro I thought u we’re Dana white in the thumbnail 😂
If they have a really high mount, there’s no way your getting that bridge though…….is there?
Correct. It’s a beginner level video; just showing some options to start learning
what about ezekiel choke,in that survival position your neck are not protected.
4:06
Fart.
was that a fart at 4:06?
Propobly😂

Well, if all you need is 3, then those would be the first 3
