My daughter overheard me watching this video and she reminded me of the time we watched you win the Classic on TV. I can’t believe she remembers! 2016 was a tough year for our family, so it’s nice to think of some good memories from back then. Thanks Edwin. You’ve been our favorite pro for years.

Thank you for sharing tips and techniques. You make it easy to understand for a novice like me and my sons. They have never forgotten your willingness to sign autographs for them years ago after an event on Toledo Bend. You were on your way to a meeting but took the time to borrow a sharpie and take care of them. They are now young men and love to fish. May God continue to bless you.

To this day I'll never forget the day I met you here in Illinois at an open house for a local dealer and you signed my yellow hat that is now retired. I'm glad you mentioned the different colors on your jerkbait selection and how they differ from south to north. I love a jerkbait bite and have a couple more late year local tournaments left and will apply your color choice. Thank you and keep these small, yet important lure choices for each month coming. While visiting family I hope to see you on the Grand.

There are a lot of resources out there for bass fishing, but 90% only talk about fish down south in Florida and Texas. I love how you incorporate the northern anglers, because it’s not all the same. I fish Honeoye in the finger lakes which is eutrophic and has lots of milfoil/ other vegetation. It can be difficult to pick colors sometimes, because even if it is crystal clear in shore, it will always have a permanent green stain color.

Love the basics: spinnerbaits, vibrating jigs, shallow crankbaits; chuck-n-reel. But the highly pressured water bodies here in SoCal call for extreme subtle baits, light lines, high risk casts, unusual baits, fish attractants, diverse techniques; very tough fishing from the bank here in San Diego!

I hadn’t thought about trimming a jig skirt like so thinking outside the box, not sure I was inside the box to start with. Needed that really. Season after season we, or I anyway get complacent with trying new things or older things not used in a while. Summer get your big worms for brush piles ledges, deep cranks, etc. fall look for Shad tie on jigs flat side frittsides, stunnas. These videos are a great way to pause and hit the reset button for anglers who’ve fished year after year and just as good for a new angler that started last fall and feeling overwhelmed. It’s not hard to heck I feel that way most times I look at the ramp ha! Have a good off season, holidays with family, fun fishing, and all the best stuff this time of year brings.
