Living in east Tennessee I'm still learning how to catch'em on crank baits. Used to live up north a lot more grass and weedless fishing. Thanks for the videos. I'm learning a lot.

First time commenter on the channel, but long time follower. Like many of your followers I too take great joy in taking all three of my children and now my grandchildren fishing and watching your videos and following your advice has undoubtably made myself and in turn my children better anglers and better stewards of our sport. I cannot thank you enough for your tips and advice as they have been very helpful and make fishing more fun!

I live over here in Ott DeFoe territory and ran into him at the store the other day. We laughed over the video where you had to take a swim in that Texas river, lol. I fished for years then several years back my youngest son got into golf so we spent every moment possible to get him to his goals and dreams there. He ended up as captain of the highschool team after competing with kids who had played since they could walk. He is getting into fishing now and we have watched almost every video you have shared, lol, and both he and I love not only your instruction but your attitude and the heart you show for the sport and your viewers. Love the old Lowrance flasher in the background of this video - I had that unit way back when I was getting started. Thanks for all you bring to this and I look forward to watching my son take the lessons you are sharing and learn this terrific sport.

Learning new knowledge & skills is without a doubt the most important thing in life. I started my son fishing when he was about 3 years-old, and as the years went by I had taught him everything I knew (which wasn't much after 20 years of fishing, I came up fishing worms & jigs, not much else). Watching & listening to you has upped our game. But things come around - my boy is now the teacher and I've happily become the student.
Thanks so much for sharing your years of experience, which has helped us think differently and therefore learned so much.

Thanks for all the advice. I have three daughters that have taken a liking to fishing and we watch all your videos to understand the art of fishing a little more. I have fished local ponds for most of my life, but honestly with only live bait, ie. worms and leeches. Thanks for teaching my family how to fish the plastic baits. Have a good season.

My wife and I taught fly fishing for 45 years. We both had right shoulder surgery 2 years ago, and the casting motion is still too painful for a day on the water. We found that side arm motions work much better, so we switched to spinning and baitcasting. Your videos helped us shorten the transition to bass fishing, we watch them together.
We ran a fly fishing program in our local school district for 10 years, so bringing new people into fishing has always been important to us. Our kids fish and our many grandkids fish as well.
Please keep up the good work, your videos are helping so many people.
