    This is my favorite version.I'm incapable of listening to the others after having heard this one. The music builds so fittingly side by side as the speech progresses.

    This is the TRUth!
    Our own human kind have the POWER to create a better LIFE for ALL! But unfortunately power makes humans EVIL & SELFISH! We’re only here for a lil while & that’s for everyone, it doesn’t matter how much money or power you have, you can’t take none of it with you when you die. BLESSINGS TO ALL🤲🏽

    He was literally copying Hitler's method of giving speeches. Starting off quiet and slowly building to passionate shouting. And wouldn't you know it, it's a fantastic way of delivering a speech.

    Fun fact, he was a communist and this was his appeal to the people to unite in achieving socialism.

    • @tsteves1
      @tsteves1 3 роки тому +2

      The key is that he was emphasizing the disfunction of life under totalitarian extremism. He was an idealist. Imagine taking and implementing THE BEST of socialism and THE BEST of capitalism.
      That is UTOPIA. Not either/ or.... because either/ or is unchecked totalitarian extremism.

    • @truthseekerdude
      @truthseekerdude 3 роки тому

      @@tsteves1 wtf are you talking about? He was literally a socialist and was persecuted and basically exiled from the US for it by J Edgar Hoover.
      Look it up
      Also, if you think socialism is a form of totalitarianism I’m going to safely assume you’ve literally never studied what socialism is beyond being exposed to propaganda from anti-communists

    • @tsteves1
      @tsteves1 3 роки тому +3

      @@truthseekerdude is not the goal of socialism the control of the means of production in a society?
      Or are you going only on the ideal of socialism apart from the practical reality?
      As for chaplins exile. You proved my point for me . Hoover was an extremist himself. Extremism answering perceived extremism

    • @tsteves1
      @tsteves1 3 роки тому +3

      @@truthseekerdude unchecked socialism as an end goal removes private ownership of goods ,services and commodities from citizens.
      Unchecked capitalism does the same thing using different mechanisms of government and " free enterprise"

    • @truthseekerdude
      @truthseekerdude 3 роки тому

      @@tsteves1 The goal is that the workers should control the means of production collectively and democratically.
      the goal isn't to abolish ownership as a concept, it is to abolish private ownership of the means of production (look up the difference between personal and private property).
      As I predicted, your take is basically "socialism is when the government owns everything and makes you share your toothbrush with your neighbor" Which is a purely propagandistic take on socialism.

    • @tsteves1

      @@shance1 not really. It's a matter of extremism .. ultra progressive/ liberals are no different than ultra conservative/ Republicans. Both seek to abridge the freedoms of citizens to their own ends of control. They don't want moderation.
      And both parties are now controlled by the most extreme ideologues within their ranks..
      It's just that the democrat party has a better marketing angle via the arts/ entertainment and media, that by and large, conservatives have never been able to successfully craxk to use to their own ends.
