  • Today I have a speech for you, a great one!
Probably the most famous sequence of “The Great Dictator” is the 5 minute speech that concludes the film.
Here Chaplin drops his comic mask and speaks directly to the world, conveying his view that people must rise up against dictators and unite in peace.
    hope you enjoy ;-)

I think Charlie Chaplin’s speech in "The Great Dictator" is absolutely amazing. It's incredible how someone known for comedy can deliver such a deep and powerful message. You can't always tell how profound someone is just by looking at them or their usual work. Chaplin’s speech touches on humanity, kindness, and the dangers of greed, and the way he presents it is just captivating. It's definitely one of my favorite speeches ever, and I had a great time mixing the background music for it.
Speaking of resilience and strength, President Zelensky comes to mind. He wasn't even a politician at first, but he’s shown so much courage and leadership. I really admire him, especially remembering when he was elected and then when the war in Ukraine started. He stood by the people of Ukraine through it all. Zelensky’s story of stepping up in such tough times is really inspiring to me. Tell me... who do YOU think of...? :-)

Oh really? RIP to the 75 years of resistance of the Palestinians. I assure you Charlie ain’t taking about some elite’s puppet ‘Zelenskyy’ here, the irony, Charlie’s whole speech is against these machine people. You have no idea who Zelenskyy is and what big fraud he it! 😂

Sounds like he is talking about Trump and the current state of the Republican Party. Vote Blue!

Sadly, the republican party and the democratic party are two sides of the same coin. One is a wolf, and one is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Until we can move beyond the duopoly nothing will ever change for the better. Maybe in the short term we will get a policy here and there, but eventually the house always wins. We are leaning in a better direction now only because they realized they couldn't keep ignoring issues. once people's fear and anger settle down the country's politicians will shift to the right (to corporations, and lobbyists) slowly over time like it did after FDR and will continue to do so. Then when their power is threatened again, they will once again roll out a few good policies here and there never changing the fundamentally flawed system we are living in.
