Shinichi and Satoshi - I just LOVE this video!!! Not only is this view of Tsukiji different, but it is so relaxing. And most of all, both of you are both so relaxed…I can tell in your voice, pace of speaking….I hope you can contInue to travel, eat, and vlog for us… and its totally ok to slow down, and adjust things as you age and grow older…believe me.. I’m 69 and my partner is 75. Getting older is not as bad as popular culture says it is….we are wiser and have a deeper gratitude for things people take for granted. Peace be with you….👏🏼🤓🙋🏻♀️
What a fabulous day, and what an amazing way for apartment dwellers and large groups of friends to BBQ!! This was a great video! Showing us where to shop and then where to barbeque in Tsukiji made this the perfect fun and informative package. Thank you for taking us along to these hidden gems for a lovely afternoon. 💙💙
"Suprisingly I'm going to be drinking the sake today. Satoshi has to drive" this.... BLEW my mind. Also thank you for taking time to check out this neat little place to grill!
That scallop shell popping open had my mouth watering, I love scallops. I wish we had something like this here. I live in an apartment, and if I want to bbq, I have to do it in the parking lot 10 feet from the building. It's not fun and a bit of a hassle for like 1 steak. (Which is what I'd probably be cooking) I'd like something like this. I'm so jealous. You guys are so lucky.😊
The steak looked so delicious! This style of simple cooking is something I definitely want to try next time in Japan 😋 A good way to try the fresh produce and away from crowds
Super thanks for sharing! Im tempted to follow everything you did. Lol. Ill be visiting Tokyo by the end of April and if you wanna do this again with me and my husband, wed be super delighted! Thanks again for sharing. Youre the best!❤🎉
I’m coming to japan next week from Hawaii. It will be my first trip. I’m really looking forward to trying this type of experience. I love bbqing in Hawaii and this looks really fun! Mahalo for the video 😊
The best time to go is around between around 10AM.This way you can shop for your products first, while they still have them. Many good shops sell out fast. When you make your reservation, let them know that we sent you. At the time, please ask them for suggested stores to purchase what you'd like. The best stores for fresh seafood and veggies is in the two buildings we showcased in the video. You can also ask for Mr Ogawa the manager. If he's not busy, he can help you with questions or suggestions. He speaks English.
i went to Tsukiji Uogashi when I went to Japan and it was great. There are fresh seafood including uni, it is much less crowded and less expensive than the Tsukiji outside market. I love that after I buy my stuff, I can enjoy the sun and eat it on the roof/bbq terrace.
You guys showing so many places. If i would come in ti Japan i would stuggle to decide where to go and eat as i would feel im missing out on other foods 😂😂
I’ve only been to old Tsukiji. About hmmm 10-12 years ago. The previous location looked very different. Walking down very narrow streets almost like walking through other people’s restaurants to get to your restaurant.
I am wondering if you guys got another dog. I am remembering Justin as my dog had passed a couple of months ago. We miss Justin, also. They give so much unconditional love!
Miss me with that tourist trap, tsukiji is so expensive these days i think i spend 7-8,000 yen in like 3 items. The fish market in Kanazawa was so much better and just as crowded as tsukiji.
The fat content of the tuna and wagyu beef doesn’t concern you guys? Its the opposite here in NZ as people go for lean low fat meat. I don’t dont eat meat myself now but it was interesting to see the difference in preferred meat etc. Thanks Laurie NZ 😊
There is a good reason for preferring fatty meat. Japanese do not eat all that much meat, maybe 75-100 gr, cut into very thin slices, or into small pieces. Meat is viewed more like a condiment to tasty up rice and vegetables.
I finally visited Japan last year and adored it; I didn't want to leave! But all the stuff that came with that BBQ reminded me of the one thing I really didn't like, and that's the absolutely absurd amount of single-use packaging/small items (which btw doesn't need to be plastic to be terrible from the environment; most of the harm is the CO2 and toxin release during manufacture, which is actually worse for cardboard/glass than plastic). It's a whole different level to even other wealthy countries. It's so weird, since the Japanese seem to be generally respectful of the natural world.

Wow, didn't know that type of place was available in Tsukiji. That wagyu looked amazing and would love to have a picnic with wagyu off the grill.
That scallop shell popping open had my mouth watering, I love scallops.

Tsukiji might be touristy, but the food is amazing. Japan is a special place for food.
Fantastic video. Exactly my kind of food 😀. I wish I had friends to join me next month in Tokyo to do the same.

Love the bbq concept and the foods are so drool worthy. Hope you saved some of that sake for Satoshi to try later 🙂
I saw this place and researched a bit. As I am traveling solo, I am hoping to find a hungry friend.....
Yes I really wanted to try this BBQ out when I solo travel next year. Fingers crossed for a BBQ friend.

I just about passed out when I found out Satoshi isn't drinking!!!!!!!

How much to use the BBQ area with the utensils for 1 or 3 person.
It’s ¥2000 per person unless you’d like to use the premium tents.
Thanks
wow ive been so many times but didnt know about all this!
Like the video. Thanks for sharing.🙂👍
Satoshi can try sake later at home.
Omg looks fabulous ❤❤❤
I will be there first week of May, and I will have to find this building.. 😁 Mainly after the sashimi.
great stuff!
How do you make a reservation at the bbq place? How much for two people/lunch
Yummies😋
I am wondering if you guys got another dog. I am remembering Justin as my dog had passed a couple of months ago. We miss Justin, also. They give so much unconditional love!
Is there a place where you can wash the vegetables or does the staff do it for you?
So is this the new tsukiji? They relocate a few years ago right?
It would be interesting to see an all you can eat expensive fruit buffet.
Thank for sharing this video with us all take care 😘😘❤️🤩😍😍💯🙏🌈🌹
did you bring your own cutting board?
They provide everything for you.
Miss me with that tourist trap, tsukiji is so expensive these days i think i spend 7-8,000 yen in like 3 items. The fish market in Kanazawa was so much better and just as crowded as tsukiji.
Do they allow single people to book?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Is it possible for tourist that don’t speak English to do something like this
Yes you will have no problem. They have an English website. When you reserve just tell them Tabieats sent you. They will take care of you
@@TabiEats I can’t wait. Thank you for such entertaining videos.
Where’s the rice?

Grill meat and seafood with alcohol by the beach?
Sign me up!
Yeah, but it’s a repeat!
This is our first time doing this BBQ. We never knew of this place until now.
Interesting but I found some of your reactions a bit artificial, especially with any of the beef. Conversely Satoshis with the otoro was very legit.
