Just want to thank both of you for continuing to make videos showcasing good places in Japan during pandemic. Hope one day soon, the whole world can open up again.
Just wanted to send Satoshi some love, I have been watching your guys channel for a few years now and just love your reactions and how you express yourself! Always cheers me up on a bad day! Wishing you both stay safe 💕
I just love watching you guys! You take the time to pronounce new words (food names) a couple of times, which I like. And your joy in eating something delicious is so genuine!
The shape of that kaisendon tamagoyaki is very special. I've seen tamagoyaki cut in rectangles and heart shapes. But I've never seen tamagoyaki cut in bamboo-shot shape. I wonder how they do it.
I actually hunted down that fish burger place to try his ginger ale (I had too many other things to eat to try the burger) and it was awesome. You could tell that his stall was mostly for locals and he wasn't used to foreign visitors.
I was last there in 2016 and visited Tsukiji. I had some of the freshest and tasty Tuna Donburi that contained Otoro, Toro and Maguro. I think it cost about $20.00 USD and came in a set with Miso soup and pickles. It was a little place/stall with three stools. Momasan and Papasan were running this little counter. It was fantastic.
If you couldn't get out there at 4 am when things were happening, the wholesale fish market was honestly the least interesting part of Tsukiji (strictly from a tourist perspective). Mostly dodging those zooming trollies while the vendors give you the stink eye because you're not buying anything. It was really better for everyone to move the wholesale market and leave Tsukiji to the tourists. I had much more fun exploring the vendors in the surrounding streets so I'm glad all of that is still there.
I LOVE you guys! I watch all your videos! Would love to visit Japan soon and these videos are a good introduction to the food there. I am a huge foodie so everything you guys grab looks amazing! Thank you for your videos and your Positivity!
Thanks Skillshare for sponsoring this amazing video! Loved everything! Food in Japan always look so fresh and yummy. Lots of love to you guys and Justin 🙏❤️
If I could ever make it over there these are the two I would want to travel with I love you guys I’ve been following you for years I live in Florida you make me want to eat so many different kinds of food and to try them now and I can’t get that here I’m so jealous but I do enjoy yawls videos so much I just wanted to say a southern hello to y’all and I hope that you are well 🌴🌴🌴❤️
I remember going to Tsukiji market a few years back with my family and tasted one of those tuna skewers (I think it was a different shop also selling delicious curry buns in one of the smaller alleys). I'm not a big fan of tuna but when I tried one of those skewers, I was so amazed by how fresh and melt-in-your-mouth they were. Definitely changed my view on tuna steaks from then. The market had so much character as well and there was so much to look at that I tripped over a traffic cone lol definitely an experience.
So happy to see that you guys are well. It's such a strange moment in time... You know your videos make us happy so thank you for continuing to make them. I hope our comments make you happy too! Have a lovely day my friends and anyone reading this comment 💗👍 spread love, not hate! 💖
Wow I remember going there in 2017 and it was so packed with people that it was hard to look at anything. It is strange to see it so empty. I wish I could be there when it is like this so much more enjoyable.
