Inuyama is the type of town that draws me in. Beautiful, traditional architecture, a castle with lovely views, lots of good food, region-specific ceramics, and peace and quiet. Plus, the little calico girl really tugged at my heartstrings--she loved your petting, Shinichi. Thank you for taking us with you to this hidden gem! 💜💜
Yes, I always look forward to your new uploads! Many a times your videos have brightened my day when I had a bad day. Thank you for continuing to make videos!
I’m so so happy you visited Inuyama!! My best friend lives in Ichinomiya, and she took us there! The shopping street has so many tasty things to try! My favorite was the beef sushi! 🩷 I also rented a yukata, for the first time, before visiting the castle and had to do all that in the middle of July 😂
My sister and I went because it was the last original castle I needed to see. We went up the back way and came back through the street. I had the beef and we also had a nice warabi-mochi dessert. I agree that it's a great castle to see. The castle is on the smaller side but it's original construction and the whole area is so nice.
I love the vibe of this video with views of the beautiful castle and the music you selected to accompany the video. Thank you for the peaceful feeling.
Wonderful video as always! This was pretty much just like my visit to Inuyama in November. It took every bit of will-power to not stop and eat everything at all the vendors. However, unlike your Tuesday visit, I visited on a Saturday and it was very busy everywhere; it took nearly 30 minutes total from entering the queue until reaching the top of the castle. You weren't kidding about the steep stairs in the castle. They could be especially treacherous if your socks are smooth and don't provide any traction.
Visited Inuyama in November last year, and very much enjoyed it! It was a bit more crowded when I went, but still not that busy. Lots of great food, beautiful castle, and certainly don't skip the festival and Karakuri museums! 2 hours does feel like speed-running it to me, I had no problem spending a full day in Inuyama.
I agree! Satoshi and Shinichi give a feeling of spontaneity, as though they said, "Hey, Friends, let's go out and do this today!" and we just happened to be there with them. I don't know the right word; it's like comfortable or something. I enjoy many travel vlogs and appreciate all the knowledge I glean from all the content creators, but Satoshi and Shinichi give a gentle and kind energy that not everyone has. If they led guided tours, I would trust them to take us to good places.
When I go to Japan, I would really like to see places like this. Thank you for making a video showcasing this town and its lovely setting, buildings and food. I especially appreciate that some of the food you found looked vegan-friendly! As always, I was glad to be along for the ride.😊
You both look well and healthy. I love seeing the places you go to. Japan is so beautiful and the food looks so yummy. It's my dream to travel to Japan. I hope one day it can come true so I can visit all the places you've been.
Hey Shinichi and Satoshi! I've been watching you guys for years and I want to thank you for all the hardwork. I love this video specifically because it's showcasing an area that's off the beaten path. Since I've had the luxury of visiting japan 10+ times, these types of videos get me excited to plan another trip to visit new nooks and crannies of Japan. Thanks again fellas!
Yummy Dango ! Beautiful streets of Inuyama ! Beautiful Castle ! Such a beautiful view of the city ! Love the architecture ! Definitely a hidden gem ! Thank you for sharing !
I appreciate the way you are presenting the content lately, much more emphasis on the destination rather than food. Of course we all enjoy when you try various food items, but I think now everything is more balanced out. Looking forward to your many adventures, in and outside of Japan. Thank you and warm regards ;) Yaso
Aloha from Hawai'i guys!!! So glad to be back to see all your wonderful videos and it would seem there quite a few! Must get caught up. Now I want dango! lol
So glad you went to Inuyama. I used to live in the nearby Nagoya suburb of Komaki for several years. Inuyama was only a 15 minute train ride away. It's only busy when there are festivals. Otherwise, very pleasant and easily accessible.
"About the same age as me." 😂 Feels like that sometimes, I know. ❤ This looks like a place we'd like to visit. That pickled daikon sounds a bit like something that came in a recent Bokksu box.
😢 Ointment for your leg, Shinichi! I hope it didn't bruise badly! From what I saw of the castle, the stairs are a good workout for both flexibility, strength, and endurance! Thank you for showing us the interior. 🤩 I was WOW-ed when you mentioned it's all the original! I would probably be the person with a veritable BOUQUET of street food served on skewers, as well as a stack of street food served in takeaway boxes. Inuyama looks so lovely, relaxed, and serene. I bet I wouldn't even feel like I was multi-tasking both eating and sightseeing. 😄 I'd also like to try the baumkuchen. 🤤 Oh, I also request a vlog of you both visiting during a festivaI. I would love to learn from you both what that would be like.
Aichi and Gifu are full of nice historical places - just too bad that JR Central (nor Meitetsu) doesn't really support regional tourism and that Nagoya itself is kinda bland. Also on the way to Inuyama is Hotei and Konan, with the great buddha statue that gets the goggles from the train crossing lights. Btw, have you guys been to the SCMaglev and Railway Park in Nagoya? I know Satoshi is a big train fan :D
Had the best Hida beef at the morning market in Takayama. It was only ¥500 for 2 grilled pieces. It was so soft and tender. A group of Germans saw us eating it and swarmed the poor vendor who was not expecting such a rush.😅
I luv u guys so much but @ the same time ... I n v u cause ov all the places & food u guys get 2 try. Sumtimes I pic myself b n the camera purrson & feel like I'm really there w/u guys & I get n njoy evrythin u guys do 😈
Really nice to watch, thanks. btw VJ on Virtual Japan TV saw 18,000 yen dish at a new mall on Tokyo harbour area, last week. And yes people eating this. I think it was seafood roe. fyi I thought you guys may be interested?. Laurie NZ

I'm glad you enjoyed the video and felt the charm of Inuyama too!
Just wanted to point out that at 12:50, the camera focusing on Satoshi looking at the view looks beautiful!
I believe I speak for your whole fanbase when I say you never have to apologize for a cute cat break!
That cat!
Always take time to say hello to cats.
It is good for you and good for the cat.
Unless you are allergic.
She was so pretty and friendly.😺
You guys make me so happy when I watch your videos. Thank you so much for all of your content. ❤❤❤
Thank you for your kind words and for being a part of our community!

Love all those skewers and mochi/dango. Looks like a peaceful day of sightseeing.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Skewers and mochi/dango are always a great choice for a day out.

Thank you so much for the heads up on dangerous stairs for us seniors.
Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment!
I am in Thailand until the end of March. I am not online as often. But Great video. I love both savoury and sweet types of Dango.
Love to visit one day :) food looks great!

It's such a lovely area, isn't it? So many hidden gems around there!
That place is lovely 🥰
Absolutely loved this video! You guys always make videos that make me so happy ❤ thank you so much! Can’t wait to be back in Japan soon 🥰
Cool hat, Satoshi! Very, very dashing. Much better than the baseball caps with the flappy strap across the forehead.
Can you make a video on how to actually eat Japanese food and other customary eating ways. Thank you. Your channel is great.
Would love to visit one day, I like less crowded areas
I enjoy your videos. Your so enjoyed. TY😊 You both look great. Honestly, Niki's were very enjoyable as well. I was just wondering how she is doing.
"About the same age as me." 😂 Feels like that sometimes, I know. ❤ This looks like a place we'd like to visit. That pickled daikon sounds a bit like something that came in a recent Bokksu box.

Was that the Shinjuku cat?
❤
Isn't inuyama famous for the karakuri puppet festival?
Yes, you're absolutely right! Inuyama is indeed famous for the Karakuri puppet festival.
satoshi time
I watch to hear his voice!
Exactly what I’d want to see if I went to Japan. Beautiful and great food.
