I know how to use OBS for basic streaming but I'm a bum when it comes to things like creating/using overlays, changing scenes, or my favorite head scratcher.... HOW THE FLUCK can I add lyrics/captions on my recorded videos that I can easily manipulate as far as the font/size/ & time that the lyrics appear on the screen so I can make sure the lyrics go perfectly in sync with my music! 💔
@ 10:40 - Thanks for even considering that colourblindness might be a factor here - Not many consider or mention it as a possible issue. For *my* level of red/green deficiency, the colours @ 10:28 are easily distinguishable 👍 More significant colour blindness can mean only the separation *between* colours is visible (like viewing in monochrome - little-to-no hue information, only lightness). My own colourblindness isn't as that strong, so I can't speak with any authority on *how* distinguishable those *specific* colours are in the plugin All that said, you made it pretty clear from context that you're referring to the middle of the screen, moving outwards concentrically like - as you said - a heatmap :) Well done, and thanks for another great OBS plugin vid!

If you're wanting to use this plugin with the OBS Studio Beta with Enhanced Encoding support, it currently doesn't appear in the Tools menu when installed using the installer or through extracting the zip file.
I tried this when you first tweeted about it. And not really knowing exactly how it worked, wrecked a stream cause it was trying to stream at something like 12k bitrate and...that did not end well. So thanks for covering it so I no longer ruin my streams!

Cool plugin. There should also be a region condition listening to the Game Capture source. ("specific program") - That way, things like the "kill-feed optimization", could be applied automatic if you happen to actually Capture that Game, but otherwise be disabled, if you don't play Apex. Set up once and forget... basically.
I don't get it. In October 2023 I didn't have this issue on the cam (and everything else).I streamed 1920 downscaled to 1280 at 4000mps. All crystal clear. Now I'm on Twich again and there's no way to have a good quality at 720, screen and webcam are blurry. Even with the new "feature" Enhanced Broadcasting in automatic mode (if I set parameters looks gross), I'm forced to stream at 1080 if I want good quality, and still, if I select 720 at lower quality in the player, it still looks like ass. Don't know if there's a way out of this situation, but this sucks
You forgot to cover what "encoder block size" is used for in the top. I did however set mine to 32x32 HVENC out of the 3 options, assuming it should be the same encoder i use for stream. The 32 or 64 option i don't know if it matters however..
So if I have a green screen camera in a nested scene, that would show properly in my main scenes if I just put the enhancement on that camera scene? Oof... that's a lot of scene... Is it OBscene??
First off, great video! However, for some reason, my vertical stream plays on the standard UA-cam player with black bars on the sides when I have my stream on a private feed. I am wondering if the stream will change to the Shorts feed when I make it public or if I am missing something else. Any feedback would be helpful.
cool plug-in but the results don't really seem to be noticeable, at least not in Hunt: Showdown where there is a lot of detail being drawn on twitches shitty bitrate. I made two clips of me running the same route in game, one with the effect turned on @ 20% for the center of my screen with 4 'steps' and shared it with my viewers not telling them which one had it on. They all said the clip without the plugin effect looked better overall
Yo ! I have issues with the Encoder Output Preview, after the "waiting for keyframe" I have black screen but everything works in stream, with virtual camera etcetc How can I fix that ?

Just installed and tried everything out, but I'm getting this weird bug where the top 30-40% of my webcam seems to remain unaffected the plugin. Anybody else have this issue?
I just tried this plugin with OBS 30.2 and the plugin doesn't seem to work correctly if the output is scaled at all...I'm using a 1440p canvas, but scaled down to 1080p and if scaled, the plugin does not scale correctly. Anybody else have this issue and know how to fix it? I really want to use this plugin, but this is making it essentially unusable.

Check on tools? Check if your Obs is updated , check if the en order software is up to date aswell

obs does this by default. The reason for the plugin is so you can prioritize parts.

Try updating the plugin. The last update adds support for 30.2.
