hey @nutty SVGator dev here. you can actually export as a PNG file right from us, if you check under the GIF export tab, you can do it from there
hey there! sorry to bug here. Since you mentinoed you are a dev for SVGator, i get a runtime error everytime I try to upload a png image. "Failed to execute 'insterAdjacentHTML' on 'Element': The provided markup is invalid XML and therefore it cannot be inserted into and XML document." Thought would be worth posting here just in case someone is running into this too.
@@BearClaymore i am going to message you privately for more details, but at a first glance it just seems like a typo: instead of insterAdjacentHTML it should be insertAdjacentHTML
Exporting directly as a png only allows low resolutions. I think 256x256 is the max.
@@nicholasbonelli4514 you should be able to export higher resolutions as well. i just exported a 1440p, it just needs any animation in it, which you can actually just "emulate" by adding an animation to any of the elements, with the same values on both keyframes. also i probably should have mentioned in the original post that exporting PNG format is a feature for paying customers. my bad on that one. however also as an alternative you can export in GIF format which is available for free users as well and it's also accepted by OBS afaik as an image mask and even more so, that can also be animated (but it might use a lot of RAM, depending on long the animation is and what the framerate is and such)

Amazing idea and implementation!
Alternatively, what I do, Is do a source clone and use Advanced Mask plugin to cut the area. Is not as clean as drawing a cookie cutter mask but it gets the job done quickly.
This is game changing...Cant wait to add this to my streams!!!

If you're saving the mask to PNG anyway, you don't need to use vector creation software to create it.
You can also make masks with Photoshop or, if looking for a free alternative, Krita or Photopea

GREAT video as always Nutty! Question: Do you know if there is a performance issue if you are streaming and recording clips with vertical plugin at the same time? I tried this but no matter what I do, if my Vertical plugin is recording clips, the streaming keeps lagging. Thanks!
I'm going to revamp my entire vertical layout because it's...just a shrunken down gameplay scene with a source clone of it but blurred in the background to fill out the canvas...oh and my face but no ones watching my streams for my face.

Now combine it with EYE and make it dynamic. So you get only the UI you need, for each appropriate in game menu.
but you can actually export PNG sequence from SVGator.. you can find it in the GIF tab.
Had this idea a while ago, but sea of Thieves fades out parts of the UI when your health is full and weapons stowed. So it ends up looking pretty fugly adding a drop shadow or some filters probably would have fixed it a bit though.

Does using source clones make it harder for your computer to stream? Like does it take up a significant amount of extra resources? I'm not on the most beafiest computer so... 😅
It consumes little, but you don't lose anything by trying.

My stream pc is a i9-10850k and 3080. I run one horizontal and one vertical. I wanted to add tik tok too. But just with my two streams it maxes my gpu load somehow. Not sure how to fix any tips?
Use CPU to encode. x264 instead of nvenc. Of course CPU load will increase significantly, but the CPU should be able to handle it easily.
