If you want to create a regular Gmail signature, you can follow these steps:
1️⃣ Open Gmail and click the gear icon in the top right corner - to open Settings
2️⃣ Click ‘See all settings’ ➡️ scroll down till you hit the ‘Signature:’ section
3️⃣ Click ‘Create new’ ➡️ name your new signature
4️⃣ Use the Gmail signature editor to create your signature
5️⃣ To set up automatic Gmail signatures for your New messages and/or Forward/Reply - look for ‘Signature defaults’ (directly below the editor)
6️⃣ When you’re done - scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit ‘Save changes

To make a professional Gmail signature:
👉Open Google doc
👉Create a new table with 1 raw and 3 column
👉insert your photo in the 1st column
👉Add your name, designation and social icons
👉Format the text and icon as your own design
👉remove the table border
👉copy the content and place it on the Gmail signature box
👉Save

It's a great tutorial for setting up a structure, but I do want to add that this only works great on pc's/phones in Light Mode. Some people use Dark Mode in which colors are inverted (black will become white, etc.). So if you're using specific HEX colors for your text, know that in dark mode it will not be the same. So test your email signature before using it.
Thanks for this extra info, do you know whether a standard black color auto generated will switch it's color when users have dark mode enabled? So best practice to have it display nicely on any device would be no hex as then it can't switch? Appreciate the help.
@@emilrueh An auto generated black switches to white and vice versa. However, if you're using bright colors through HEX codes, they will become a darker shade. E.g. light green will become dark green. I've experienced this myself while testing email signatures (I sent it from a Light Mode to a Dark Mode device) hence I found out about this error. So I've created a .png file of the profile image and divider in one (as these contain colored elements) and left the text in simple black, but played with font density. This seems to work for me.
to resolve this issue, there can be additional white stroke, in white scenario, It won't snow. However in dark mode, it will show dark HEX gap in between white stroke & image :)

Photoshop created signature will not be clickable. You can target only one URL for the photoshop signature.

I followed the process except I use business card from canva then insert it. When I sent a message to my own email to check if it works, the business card did not appear. What went worng?

Not required, just copy the whole things from the doc and paste on the google signature editor

I made a signature in google doc, but when I try to paste and save in gmail i get an error "The signature is too long, please try a shorter signature". My signature is not that long. I have tried multiple solutions proposed by others but nothing has helped. Please help.

Please help me, actually I have made clickable email signature in google docs, then I save it as word file too. Then I opened it in word file, that's also okay.
