Would much rather be standing on the side of the street watchin and listenin to this than be stuck in the house because of the virus. Thanks for the distraction
Larry Ehrlich I was thinking the same thing. I love high performance cars but wouldn't want to live or work close to these clowns. As if they couldn't trailer it to an isolated area where it wouldn't bother anybody? Some people just don't have any respect for others. Sad.
See this is the kind of s*** I'm talking about I would love to live next to this guy and my neighbors would love peace and quiet so let's move your neighbors next to my neighbors and I will move into your neighbor's house...
Many decades ago I lived near a fiberglass company that made the bodies for funny cars. Every so often they would fire one up. It would not be driven - not enough road. It would draw kids for many blocks. Saw many of the well known drivers. Just loved the smell of the exhaust.
Was in an office right across the street from the Air Guard wing in Memphis. The C-5's always had to perform engine tests and it would shake the building for about 30 minutes. 4 GE Turbo Fans at full throttle. Way louder than this.
Hahaha Based on his public persona now, he seems grounded enough that he'd laugh at that comment just as much as the next guy! Who doesn't like MJF. I don't interpret that as a diss on him. But I can only speak for myself!
It' s funny you have two kinds of customers, the ones that get mad because you smacked their car and the ones that get REALLY pissed because you didn't. I only deal with the latter. Good customers and not scared to break stuff.
Wow. I'm glad I didn't click off till after he made that end pull. Goodness gracious. I bet that thing shakes the street when it's on. Ha ha. Well done boys.
A quick question for the experts... That big box that surrounds the air intake, it's got a lid ... what goes inside the box? My guess is crushed ice. Did I guess right?
I've have witnessed in the past with my own eyes the actual "Testing of customer's racecars" at shops after completions that turned into all-out MAJOR DISASTER(S) !!!!.... One time, The throttle linkage jammed...On a different occasion, The Dry-Sump pump mysteriously bailed while showing adequate oil pressure during a "semi-pass" !....In another instance, The car just flat-out got-away from the guy doing the testing, But MRE is an extremely reputable and professional raceshop with responsible individuals that can be trusted in these types of settings to test a race vehicle at their location without incident !
Siddiq Ahmad ..... Testing drag racers ???.....Where you live ?....Here in America, All sorts of activities can be and are performed on [Public Streets] when you take the appropriate channels to obtain permission from local leaders/authorities in your area depending on your location. This location is a public street by definition only, This is not Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles nor is it drag racing on the street. It's a mere test/ tune procedure done by hundreds of raceshops and is performed probably every 3rd blue moon at facilities located in "Specialized Zoning" areas . As I stated previous; "Responsible individuals" which is what TOTALLY separates the men from the boys everytime....The next time you want to voice a negative opinion, Direct your rebuttals to the people in charge of scheduling for a ton of people to come out on the street and watch F-16s fly over their heads at 600+ MPH and only a snowball throw distance from tall RESIDENTIAL buildings....Not all Air & Water shows are performed totally on shorelines....All this shit the "everyday person" deem as dangerous, Is granted based off of what is considered "THE LAW OF AVERAGES" !!!!
I live in Westchester Cnty. NY; just north of NYC. That set up looks like an office park on long Island and I gotta say, there's absolutely nothing to preclude one of the "MAJOR DISASTER(S)" you recalled from occurring right there on that street. I like cars, I like speed... that looks completely out of context. Call me old or whatever, it's the wrong place for that type activity.
twilight's last gleaming - I get what you're saying. We just had an air and water show here in Chicago this past weekend and whereas the maneuvers were performed on the lakefront, the planes go deep into the city to turn around and come back to do more stunts.
twilight's last gleaming I get what you are saying the problem is with the numb skulls with no permission no professional skills and zero intelligence try to be like the big boys on you tube and do this where they shouldnt and inevitably fuck up large
@Thomas Jefferson your welcome. Now next time, hold the damn camera still boy, you making viewers feel shitty. And fix that fucking idle problem while you're at it. Y'all fuck footballs or monkeys much?
Son of THE King no these are made from either carbon fiber or fiber glass and sometimes even slightly modefied to eith fit the big engine more aerodynamic and some for sleeker look
Car tries to hook....goes into tire shake...driver NOT wearing his helmet....head rattles off halo a few times............wife looking to sell deceased husbands car. NEVER lay into a stout drag piece without your helmet on, and strapped in tight.

Hooked pretty hard for a unprep road, nice build.
Now I know why my tires wore out quicker than normal. Nice that you posted it. Lol
Would much rather be standing on the side of the street watchin and listenin to this than be stuck in the house because of the virus. Thanks for the distraction

I bet your neighbors love you guys.
Are you that guy

Wayne Metevia well, good thing you don’t live there then.
+Wayne Metevia
It's a fucking industrial park during the middle of the day. Neighbors??
Those cars passed by like “jimmys at it again”
Many decades ago I lived near a fiberglass company that made the bodies for funny cars. Every so often they would fire one up. It would not be driven - not enough road. It would draw kids for many blocks. Saw many of the well known drivers. Just loved the smell of the exhaust.
The smell of that Nitromethane mixed with Methanol would've had me out there to...
Beautiful build Gentlemen!
That last was a sweet launch.... but, hey, can we take up a collection and buy homeboy a freakin tripod???
One very very happy customer!!
Damn that sounds good!!
Was in an office right across the street from the Air Guard wing in Memphis. The C-5's always had to perform engine tests and it would shake the building for about 30 minutes. 4 GE Turbo Fans at full throttle. Way louder than this.
We got Michael J Fox doing the filming here...
i thought it was a in car camera at first
Hahaha Based on his public persona now, he seems grounded enough that he'd laugh at that comment just as much as the next guy! Who doesn't like MJF. I don't interpret that as a diss on him. But I can only speak for myself!

Beautiful car. Twice was enough!
God is that fast! Lol. What a riot to see that on the street :)
Wow. I'm glad I didn't click off till after he made that end pull. Goodness gracious. I bet that thing shakes the street when it's on. Ha ha. Well done boys.
Just in case it hooked but it did hook up on that unpreped road pretty well
It did hook. Lifted the front wheels and went straight! It would have to break and axle to go immediately left.
Is it pro charged?
I wish I had one, what a quality car.
Ooh can I set this as my alarm clock
What a sound!
So you guys did HVAC work before you got into race cars?
Dayum, nice pull
240K on a car, 23.95 for a camera. Would have been a great video otherwise and a beautiful hotrod
Pretty cool to ru the compressor drectly off the crank shaft; lower aerodynamic profile and, one supposes, greater efficiency. No belt.
That is so bad asss!
A quick question for the experts... That big box that surrounds the air intake, it's got a lid ... what goes inside the box? My guess is crushed ice. Did I guess right?

In and out. Bell mouth and zoomies! 👍🏿🏁👍🏿🏁
I love anything Pro Mod
So, which pro mod version is cheapest vs most expensive to build, nitrous, turbo or supercharged? I would imagine ALL versions are inexpensive! Lol.

There's NOTHING responsible about testing drag racers on public streets... NOTHING!!!

If that was in England the neighbourhood watch would be out in hi-viz jackets to complain about the noise and the tyre marks.

Diggin from a nut

Loading up pretty bad?
does a car like this use a real vette body?
Son of THE King Some cars do, others like pro mods don’t.
No..these are carbon fiber bodies. The original bodies were heavy and to rare these days to screw up.
Drac Ula there mostly fibreglass
No this is not real body panels
Son of THE King no these are made from either carbon fiber or fiber glass and sometimes even slightly modefied to eith fit the big engine more aerodynamic and some for sleeker look
customers he said it want idle rhem soth georgia hicks....lol
super cackle.
we are going to be testing funny cars on this street, so your facilities are just going to have to deal with it.....
Ballpark.figure but what would a car like this go for?
Oxyrisen If you have to ask............
That motor sounds tired already it's making more noise than anything
I n c r e d i b l e.
Sound really good, but I can't spend the money on a race car. I need my $$$ for my retirement in 3 years...Longevity has its place....Yikes lol
That's why you use someone else's money. Turn your passion/hobby into a business.
Need another camera guy
Yee fuckin haw !!!@!
died pulling out of the parking lot.. I'd junk it 👍
Probably a Chevy engine can’t stay running I agree junk it
Better not be a public street!!
Insanity fast .
Honda owners are trying to find a way to say their vtec is faster..
Wonder what happened to that car?
Car tries to hook....goes into tire shake...driver NOT wearing his helmet....head rattles off halo a few times............wife looking to sell deceased husbands car.
NEVER lay into a stout drag piece without your helmet on, and strapped in tight.

Nooooo.
Come on man I got the road rashes worse than that

heh heh heh
yep, works
FUK YEA !!!!!!!
Damn
Awesome car but i dont think i would stand 4ft in front of a untested racecar like that but thats just me.
It's one of my favorite things to do! 4ft is ok. 20ft I would not.
Damm! has the camera man got Parkinson disease?
Can't hide money
sounds like shit keeps loading up
